Existence and concentration of positive solutions for coupled Schrödinger equations

In this paper, we study the existence and concentration of positive solution of a class of coupled Schrödinger equations. We admit that the potentials may not be non-negative and suppose that the intersection of the sets has positive Lebesgue measure. By studying the modified functional of the associated functional carefully, we establish the existence of positive least energy solutions for the coupled Schrödinger system. Moreover, we prove the concentration phenomenon of the positive solution when the parameter goes to infinity.     

Existence of multiplicity harmonic and subharmonic solutions for second‐order quasilinear equation via Poincaré‐Birkhoff twist theorem

In this paper, we investigate the existence and multiplicity of harmonic and subharmonic solutions for second‐order quasilinear equation where , g satisfies the superlinear condition at infinity. We prove that the given equation possesses harmonic and subharmonic solutions by using the phase‐plane analysis methods and a generalized version of the Poincaré‐Birkhoff twist theorem.

1引言自Duffin和Schaeffer提出了框架理论以来,框架理论在数学和信息科学等领域占有非常重要的地位,在小波分析和时频分析中起着举足轻重的作用.现在Gabor框架系统被广泛地应用在信息论,量子力学,信号处理和图象处理等方面.Gabor框架的稳定性是应用中所需要的,同时也是人们关心的问题.但是,一直以来对Gabor框架的稳定性的研究主要集中在L~2(R)上,即使在L~2(R~d)上的研究也主要针对单项指标扰动进行了研究.本文借助于文[2]中的定理3和定理4,文[3]中的定理2和文[5]中的定理2.1,分别对L~2(R~d)上紧支撑Gabor框架的窗函数、平移指标、旋转指标以及多项混合扰动的稳定性进行了讨论.     

Some minimax theorems with strictly monotone transformation

Some two-function minimax theorems are proved. In these results, the staircase and quantitative-topological conditions of both functions involve strictly monotone transformation and mixing of functional values. Consequently, Lin Quan and Kindler＇s minimax theorems are generalized.     

Modeling complexity in musical rhythm

This article constructs a tree structure for the music rhythm using the L‐system. It models the structure as an automata and derives its complexity. It also solves the complexity for the L‐system. This complexity can resolve the similarity between trees. This complexity serves as a measure of psychological complexity for rhythms. The Ramsey numbers for cycles versus wheels of even order

For two given graphs G₁ and G₂, the Ramsey number R(G₁,G₂) is the smallest integer n such that for any graph G of order n, either G contains G₁ or the complement of G contains G₂. Let C_n denote a cycle of order n and W_m a wheel of order m+1. Surahmat, Baskoro and Tomescu conjectured that R(C_n,W_m)=3n−2 for m odd, n≥m≥3 and (n,m)≠(3,3). In this paper, we confirm the conjecture for n≥20.
