Triterpenoid Constituents of Huperzia miyoshiana

Thirteen triterpenoids, including three new ones, miyoshianois A (1), B (2) and C (3), were isolated from Huperzia miyoshiana. The structures of these new compounds were established as 3-O-dihydroferuloyltohogenol (1), 16-oxo-3β,21β-dihydrox-y-serrat-14-en-24-ferulate (2) and 16-oxo-3a, 21β-dihydroxy-serrat-14-en-24-ferulate (3), respectively, on the basis of their spectroscopic analysis.     

Stationary Distributions of GI/M/c Queue with PH Type Vacations

We study a GI/M/c type queueing system with vacations in which all servers take vacations together when the system becomes empty. These servers keep taking synchronous vacations until they find waiting customers in the system at a vacation completion instant.The vacation time is a phase-type (PH) distributed random variable. Using embedded Markov chain modeling and the matrix geometric solution methods, we obtain explicit expressions for the stationary probability distributions of the queue length at arrivals and the waiting time. To compare the vacation model with the classical GI/M/c queue without vacations, we prove conditional stochastic decomposition properties for the queue length and the waiting time when all servers are busy. Our model is a generalization of several previous studies.     

A fourth‐order compact finite difference scheme for the steady stream function–vorticity formulation of the Navier–Stokes/Boussinesq equations

A fourth‐order compact finite difference scheme on the nine‐point 2D stencil is formulated for solving the steady‐state Navier–Stokes/Boussinesq equations for two‐dimensional, incompressible fluid flow and heat transfer using the stream function–vorticity formulation. The main feature of the new fourth‐order compact scheme is that it allows point‐successive overrelaxation (SOR) or point‐successive underrelaxation iteration for all Rayleigh numbers Ra of physical interest and all Prandtl numbers Pr attempted. Numerical solutions are obtained for the model problem of natural convection in a square cavity with benchmark solutions and compared with some of the accurate results available in the literature. Study on a Distributed Wavelength Routing Algorithm in WDM Optical Transport Networks

A new design scheme for a distributed algorithm for routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) is developed in this paper, and the communication rules between the nodes to exchange signaling packets are discussed. The Adaptive-Alternate-Routing-Least-Load (AARLL) algorithm is implemented in the distributed scheme for the first time. Under dynamic traffic circumstances, the influence of the race condition, which does not exist in centralized scheme, on the network performance is analyzed and the analyzed results show that the race condition has a major impact on network performance only under light traffic load, while under medium and heavy traffic load the impact is very small. To analyze the performance loss caused by adopting the distributed algorithm for RWA, the capacity loss factor (CLF) is introduced and the calculated results show that CLF does not exceed 6% under medium traffic load.     

Synthesis of some chiral liquid crystals and study of the effect of intramolecular hydrogen bonding on the phase behaviour

The synthesis of three new series of chiral Schiff's bases containing benzilideneaniline and 2-hydroxybenzilideneaniline moieties as mesogenic cores is presented. Differential scanning calorimetry, optical polarizing microscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements were used to study the phase transition temperatures and behaviour. The results reveal that most of these materials show chiral smectic mesomorphism.     

光照与彩陶俑表面色变关系的实验研究

本文以秦彩俑表面色彩为研究对象,通过光照实验与色彩变化的色度测量,分析了光照引起彩俑颜料色变的规律,为秦彩俑这一大型重点文物的色彩保护提供了科学理论依据.

厚膜导体的金属迁移研究

金属迁移能导致混合微电路发生灾难性失效。本文介绍一种简单易行的测试方法－水滴试验法，来测量厚膜电路的实际金属迁移率。用引方法测量时，发现Ｐｄ－Ａｇ导体的迁移率最大，Ｐｔ－Ａｕ导体的金属迁移率最小。     

Bi3+和Eu3+在Ca2SiO4中的发光和能量传递

用高温固态反应合成了Ca2SiO4:Bi3+,Ca2SiO4:Eu3+和Ca2SiO4:Eu3+,Bi3+发光体。讨论了不同掺杂量和掺杂种类时Bi3+对Eu3+的5D0-7F1,5D0-7F2发射的影响规律。实验发现,Ca2SiO4:Bi3+在紫外线激发下发出明亮的蓝色光,Ca2SiO4:Eu3+,Bi3+中的Bi3+能将激发能传递给Eu3+,使Eu3+的5D0-7F1和5D0-7F2两种跃迁都大大加强,同时,Bi3+也发出鲜艳的紫色光。
