The reactions of E powder (E=S, Se) with a mixture of Cr(CO)6 and Mn2(CO)10 in concentrated solutions of KOH/MeOH produced two new mixed Cr? Mn? carbonyl clusters, [E2CrMn2(CO)9]2? (E=S, 1 ; Se, 2 ). Clusters 1 and 2 were isostructural with one another and each displayed a trigonal‐bipyramidal structure, with the CrMn2 triangle axially capped by two μ3‐E atoms. The analogous telluride cluster, [Te2CrMn2(CO)9]2? ( 3 ), was obtained from the ring‐closure of Te2Mn2 ring complex [Te2Mn2Cr2(CO)18]2? ( 4 ). Upon bubbling with CO, clusters 2 and 3 were readily converted into square‐pyramidal clusters, [E2CrMn2(CO)10]2? (E=Se, 5 ; Te, 6 ), accompanied with the cleavage of one Cr? Mn bond. According to SQUID analysis, cluster 6 was paramagnetic, with S=1 at room temperature; however, the Se analogue ( 5 ) was spectroscopically proposed to be diamagnetic, as verified by TD‐DFT calculations. Cluster 6 could be further carbonylated, with cleavage of the Mn? Mn bond to produce a new arachno‐cluster, [Te2CrMn2(CO)11]2? ( 7 ). The formation and structural isomers, as well as electrochemistry and UV/Vis absorption, of these clusters were also elucidated by DFT calculations.  相似文献

The interactions between a size‐expanded Guanine analogue x‐Guanine (xG) and gold nanoclusters, Aun (n = 2, 4, 6, and 8), were studied theoretically using density functional theory. Geometries of neutral complexes were optimized using the B3LYP functional with the 6‐31+G(d,p) basis set for xG and the LANL2DZ basis set for gold clusters. The binding modes, interaction strength, and the charge‐transfer properties of different Aun‐xG complexes were investigated. Natural population analysis was performed for natural bond order charges. It was found that gold nanoclusters form stable complexes with xG and these binding results in a substantial amount of electronic charge being transferred from xG to the gold clusters. The vertical first ionization potential, electron affinity, Fermi Level, and the HOMO–LUMO gap of xG and its complexes with gold nanoclusters were also analyzed. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

We report on an ultrasensitive fluorescence immunoassay for human chorionic gonadotrophin antigen (hCG). It is based on the use of silica nanoparticles coated with a copolymer (prepared from a fluorene, a phenylenediamine, and divinylbenzene; PF@SiO2) that acts as a fluorescent label for the secondary monoclonal antibody to β-hCG antigen. In parallel, Fe3O4 nanoparticles were coated with polyaniline, and these magnetic particles (Fe3O4@PANI) served as a solid support for the primary monoclonal antibody to β-hCG antigen. The PF@SiO2 exhibited strong fluorescence and good dispersibility in water. A fluorescence sandwich immunoassay was developed that enables hCG concentrations to be determined in the 0.01–100 ng·mL?1 concentration range, with a detection limit of 3 pg·mL?1.

A thin film of poly(eriochrome black T) was deposited on the surface of glassy carbon electrode by cyclic voltammetry, and this system is shown to enable the sensitive determination of adenine (A) and guanine (G). Scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were carried out to characterize the film which exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of A and G in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 4.0). Square wave voltammetry reveals an oxidation peak at 1084 mV whose current is linearly related to the concentration of A in the range from 0.05 to 1.00 μM. The oxidation peak for G occurs at 788 mV, and its current is linearly related to the concentration of G in the range from 0.025 to 1.00 μM. The detection limits are 0.017 μM for A and 0.008 μM for G (at S/N?=?3), respectively. The modified electrode displays good reproducibility and selectivity for the determination of A and G. The sensor was applied to quantify A and G in fish sperm DNA with satisfactory results.

A sensor based on gold nanoparticle on the surface of L-cysteine modified gold electrode is prepared. Electrochemical behavior of dopamine hydrochloride is investigated. The linear relation between peak current of dopamine hydrochloride and scan speed in the range of 10 to 1000 mV s?1 indicates that a diffusion-adsorption controls the process. The linearity range is 1.05 × 10?5–7.38 × 10?4 M with detection limit of 1.05 × 10?6 M. The recoveries were in the range from 99.8 to 101.5% with relative standard deviations of 1.3 ~ 2.3% (n = 6). The modified electrode under ambient conditions over a period of 2 weeks has an excellent repeatability and reproducibility.  相似文献
