Cobalt manganese oxide nanocatalyst was synthesized and it was found that it is a highly efficient green catalyst for the synthesis of 2‐aryl‐1‐arylmethyl‐1H‐1,3‐benzimidazoles under solvent‐free conditions. The marked advantages of this method are the simple experimental procedures, shorter reaction times, high yields of product, reusable and non‐toxic catalyst and solvent‐free conditions. The effects of the addition of nano TiN on the surface morphology, deposition rate, hardness and corrosion properties of Ni–P electroless coatings were studied. Heat treatment was conducted to compare the corrosion and hardness behavior of the coatings before and after heat treatment. It was observed that the incorporation of TiN particles into the coating has an adverse effect on the corrosion properties of the specimens. The hardness of the specimens increased dramatically by adding TiN. Furthermore, the hardness of the specimens increased after conducting the heat treatment. The corrosion and hardness behavior of the Ni–P system after heat treatment largely depended on the temperature of heat treatment. The heat treatment temperatures at which the desired corrosion and hardness properties were expected were determined. 相似文献

In this paper we propose a novel frequency selective surface (FSS) as a band-reject filter for microwave frequencies. Here we suggest an innovative Fractal geometry named as FSS with Sierpinski fractal tripole elements (SFTE-FSS). The structure is analyzed with Ansoft Designer software package using the Method of Moment (MoM) technique. Then we compare the performance of the structure with that of Sierpinski dipole FSS. After all we perform a parametric study on SFTE-FSS. Using the information obtained by parametric study, we optimize the structure. The results show an interesting dual-polarized, dual-band behavior of the filter response. Finally, we bring experimental results and compare them with simulation results to verify the design process. 相似文献

The automatic assignment of secondary structure from three-dimensional atomic coordinates of proteins is an essential step for the analysis and modeling of protein structures. So different methods based on different criteria have been designed to perform this task. We introduce a new method for protein secondary structure assignment based solely on C(alpha) coordinates. We introduce four certain relations between C(alpha) three-dimensional coordinates of consecutive residues, each of which applies to one of the four regular secondary structure categories: alpha-helix, 3(10)-helix, pi-helix and beta-strand. In our approach, the deviation of the C(alpha) coordinates of each residue from each relation is calculated. Based on these deviation values, secondary structures are assigned to all residues of a protein. We show that our method agrees well with popular methods as DSSP, STRIDE and assignments in PDB files. It is shown that our method gives more information about helix geometry leading to more accurate secondary structure assignment. 相似文献

A reconfigurable single-layer frequency-selective surface (FSS) with dual-mode multi-band modes of operation is presented. The proposed structure is printed on a compact 10 × 10 mm2 FR4 substrate with the thickness of 1.6 mm. A simple square loop is printed on the front side while another one along with two defected vertical arms is deployed on the backside. To realise the reconfiguration, two pin diodes are embedded on the backside square loop. Suitable insertion of conductive elements along with pin diodes yields in dual-mode multi-band rejection of applicable in service frequency ranges. The first operating mode due to diodes’ ‘ON’ state provides rejection of 2.4 GHz WLAN in 2–3 GHz, 5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN and X band in 5–12 GHz, and a part of Ku band in 13.9–16 GHz. In diodes ‘OFF’ state, the FSS blocks WLAN in 4–7.3 GHz, X band in 8–12.7 GHz as well as part of Ku band in 13.7–16.7 GHz. As well, high attenuation of incident waves is observed by a high shielding effectiveness (SE) in the blocked frequency bands. Also, a stable behaviour against different polarisations and angles of incidence is obtained. Comprehensive studies are conducted on a fabricated prototype to assess its performance from which encouraging results are obtained. 相似文献
