Ability to stack separate chips in a single package enables three-dimensional integrated circuits (3D ICs). Heterogeneous 3D ICs provide even better opportunities to reduce the power and increase the performance per unit area. An important issue in designing a heterogeneous 3D IC is reliability. To achieve this, one needs to select the data mapping and processor layout carefully. This paper addresses this problem using an integer linear programming (ILP) approach. Specifically, on a heterogeneous 3D CMP, it explores how applications can be mapped onto 3D ICs to maximize reliability. The laser field dependence of the linear and nonlinear intersubband optical absorption in a graded quantum well (GQW) under an applied electric field is investigated in the effective mass approximation. In our calculations, the position and the magnitude of the linear and total absorption coefficients depend on the laser parameter and electric field strength. The resonant peak of total absorption coefficient can be bleached at sufficiently high incident optical intensities. Such a dependence of the exciting optical intensity on the external field strengths in GQWs can be very useful for several potential device applications. 相似文献

The intersubband absorption in square and graded quantum wells under a laser field is calculated within the framework of the effective mass approximation. We conclude that, for quantum wells with different shapes, the laser field amplitude induces an important effect on the electronic and optical properties of the semiconductor structure. Respiratory motion compensation for cardiac imaging requires knowledge of the heart's motion and deformation during breathing. This paper presents a method for measuring the natural tidal respiratory motion of the heart from free breathing coronary angiograms. A three-dimensional (3-D) deformation field describing the cardiac and respiratory motion of the coronary arteries is recovered from a biplane acquisition. A cardiac respiratory parametric model is formulated and used to decompose the deformation field into cardiac and respiratory components. Angiograms from ten patients were analyzed. A 3-D translation motion model was sufficient for describing the motion of the heart in only two patients. For all patients, the heart translated caudally (mean, 4.9+/-1.9 mm; range, 2.4 to 8.0 mm) and underwent a cranio-dorsal rotation (mean, 1.5 degrees+/-0.9 degrees; range, 0.2 degrees to 3.5 degrees) during inspiration. In eight patients, the heart also translated anteriorly (mean, 1.3+/-1.8 mm; range, -0.4 to 5.1 mm) and rotated in a caudo-dextral direction (mean, 1.2 degrees+/-1.3 degrees; range, -1.9 degrees to 3.2 degrees). 相似文献

A class of similarity solutions is obtained for radial motions of spherical and cylindrical bodies made of a certain type of compressible hyperelastic materials. The equations satisfied by the infinitesimal generators of the symmetry group of the unified governing first order field equations for spheres and cylinders are found. It is shown that these equations admit a special class of solutions which generate a five-parameter group of transformations. The form of the strain energy function corresponding to the resulting symmetry group is evaluated. The similarity variable is determined and ordinary differential equations satisfied by similarity solutions are obtained. In this study, out-of-plane stability analysis of tapered cross-sectioned thin curved beams under uniformly distributed radial
loading is performed by using the finite-element method. Solutions referred to as Bolotin’s approach are analysed for dynamic
