The aim through this work is to suppress the transverse vibrations of an axially moving viscoelastic strip. A controller mechanism (dynamic actuator) is attached at the right boundary to control the undesirable vibrations. The moving strip is modeled as a moving beam pulled at a constant speed through 2 eyelets. The left eyelet is fixed in the sense that there is no transverse displacement (see Figure 1 ). The mathematical model of this system consists of an integro‐partial differential equation describing the dynamic of the strip and an integro‐differential equation describing the dynamic of the actuator. The multiplier method is used to design a boundary control law ensuring an exponential stabilization result.  相似文献

A simple, rapid and sensitive high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was developed for the determination of metoclopramide in pharmaceutical preparation. The method is based on the derivatization of metoclopramide with fluorescamine. The separation was achieved on a C18 column using methanol‐water (70:30, V/V) mobile phase. Fluorescence detector was used at the excitation and emission of 403 and 485 nm, respectively. The method was validated for linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantification, precision, accuracy, recovery, robustness and system suitability. The assay was linear over the concentration range of 100–2000 ng/mL. The mean recovery was 100.37%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the assay of metoclopramide in tablet preparation. The preparation was also analyzed with an official method and statistical comparison by t‐ and F‐tests revealed that there was no significant difference between the results of the two methods with respect to mean values and standard deviations at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

A viscoelastic Timoshenko beam is investigated. We prove an exponential decay of solutions for a large class of kernels with weaker conditions than the existing ones in the literature. The control problem of axially moving strings occurs in a large class of mechanical systems. In addition to the longitudinal displacement, the strings are subject to undesirable transversal vibrations. In this work, in order to suppress these vibrations, we consider a control by a hydraulic touch-roll actuator at the right boundary. We prove uniform stability of the system using a viscoelastic material and an appropriate boundary control force applied to the touch rolls of the actuator. The features of the present work are: taking into account the mass flow entering in and out at the boundaries due to the axial movement of the string and overcoming the difficulty raised by the Kirchhoff coefficient which does not allow us to profit from the dissipativity of the system (as in the existing works so far). We shall make use of an inequality which is new in this theory.  相似文献

Stainless steels are often used in high temperature (≥500°C) applications such as solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), combustion engine exhaust systems, and in power/chemical plant process equipment. At high temperature and in oxidizing conditions, chromium containing oxides, such as chromia, may form protective surface layers on the underlying alloy. Reactive evaporation of chromium, however, may occur from the protective surface layers given these conditions, resulting in the formation of volatile chromium species such as CrO2(OH)2. These volatile chromium species may then interact with surrounding materials, potentially resulting in hazardous compound formation, or having detrimental effects on system performance, as in the case of SOFCs. To better understand the interaction of volatile chromium condensation/deposition on material substrates, volatile chromium species were generated from chromia powder at 500°C to 900°C and flowed past coupons of alumina and mica and quartz wool at temperatures ranging from 150°C to 900°C for 24- and 100-hour exposures. The ceramic surfaces were characterized as a function of these exposures using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Analysis of Cr 2p3/2 peak positions revealed the influence of temperature, material, and exposure time on the oxidation states of surface chromium compounds and extent of chromium deposition. Potential mechanisms are proposed to help explain the observed trends.  相似文献

In this work, we consider a system of two identical beams of uniform thickness modeled as a Timoshenko system. The slip between the beams is taken into account, and the system is coupled with a heat equation. Moreover, the slip equation is subject to a distributed delay of neutral type. Delays are known to be of a destructive nature in general. Therefore, here, the delay will compete with a frictional damping and the dissipation produced by the heat equation. We provide sufficient conditions ensuring exponential and polynomial stability of the structure.  相似文献

An efficient method for the formation of α-carbonyl-monosubstituted acetophenones from ortho-methoxy- and ortho-hydroxy-α,α-dibromoacetophenones and a range of selected nucleophiles, occurring via a carbophilic substitution/bromophilic substitution/protonation cascade process, is described. In turn, the preparation of α,α-dibromoacetophenones, isolated in high yields, relies on the neighboring group participation of the ortho-substituents in the starting ortho-substituted acetophenones.  相似文献
