The title compound crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. There are two molecules in the asymmetric unit. Cyclic voltammetric (CV) and chronoamperometric (CA) behaviors of 1,3,5-triphenylformazan (TPF), 3-(p-nitrophenyl)-1,5-diphenylformazan (PNF) and 3-(m-nitrophenyl)-1,5-diphenylformazan (MNF) were studied in dimethyl sulfoxide medium. TPF was found to give a single sharp cathodic CV peak corresponding to a gain of one-electron per molecule. The diffusion coefficient and the number of electrons transferred were calculated using the Baranski equation with the CV-data obtained by an ultramicroelectrode. Standard rate constants for the reduction were calculated by the Klingler-Kochi technique. The electrochemical data obtained support the mechanism proposed by Umemoto. 相似文献

We consider the stability of parallel server systems under the longest queue first (LQF) rule. We show that when the underlying
graph of a parallel server system is a tree, the standard nominal traffic condition is sufficient for the stability of that
system under LQF when interarrival and service times have general distributions. Then we consider a special parallel server
system, which is known as the X-model, whose underlying graph is not a tree. We provide additional “drift” conditions for
the stability and transience of these queueing systems with exponential interarrival and service times. Drift conditions depend
in general on the stationary distribution of an induced Markov chain that is derived from the underlying queueing system.
We illustrate our results with examples and simulation experiments. We also demonstrate that the stability of the LQF depends
on the tie-breaking rule used and that it can be unstable even under arbitrary low loads. 相似文献

Polyacrylamide (PAAm)–sodium alginate (SA) composite was prepared with different amounts of SA varying in the range between 0.06% and 2% (w/v). The PAAm–SA composite was characterized by the steady-state fluorescence technique. Pyranine was added as a fluoroprobe for monitoring the polymerization. It was observed that pyranine molecules bind to AAm and SA chains upon the initiation of the polymerization. Thus, the fluorescence spectra of the bonded pyranines shift to the shorter wavelengths. Fluorescence spectra from the bonded pyranines allowed us to monitor the sol–gel phase transition, and to test the universality of the sol–gel transition as a function of SA contents. Observations around the critical point show that the gel fraction exponent, β, and the weight average degree of polymerization exponent, γ, agreed with the percolation result for (<0.25% (w/v)) SA contents. However, classical results were produced at (<2% (w/v)) SA contents. 相似文献

In order to deliver near-field electromagnetic power to a biomedical device or an RFID tag efficiently, the downlink signal
is preferred to be at a high voltage level. To reduce power consumption and meet low supply requirements, it is advantageous
for the remote device power supply to step-down the input voltage following rectification, typically using switch-mode regulators.
The output ripple of a switched capacitor converter is inversely proportional to the filtering capacitance at the output node
and switching frequency. In this paper, a hybrid DC–DC converter utilizing a switched capacitor regulator in master–slave
configuration with a linear regulator is presented. Linear regulator actively cancels the switching ripple, while low frequency
and DC current is provided by the switched capacitor converter. The converter is designed to receive an average input voltage
of 5 Vpk from the receiver coil, with an output voltage of 2 V, and 5 mA of output current. The proposed regulator is fabricated
in 0.35 μm technology. The power efficiency is measured to be 67%, with a nominal peak to peak ripple of less than 2 mV at

Effective mass Schrödinger equation is solved exactly for a given potential. Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used to obtain energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions. A free parameter is used in the transformation of the wave function. The effective mass Schrödinger equation is also solved for the Morse potential transforming to the constant mass Schrödinger equation for a potential. Optimal control of many-server heterogenous service systems with service times that have a special hyper-exponential distribution, denoted by $H_{2}^{*}$ , which is a mixture of an exponential distribution and a unit point mass at 0, is considered. A?static priority policy that assigns priorities to server pools based on their service time distributions is proposed. Hepatitis B is a major public health problem worldwide, which may lead to chronic liver diseases such as cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The hepatitis B core antigen (HBcAg) is one of the major viral proteins, which forms the inner core of hepatitis B virus (HBV) particles. In this study, filamentous bacteriophage M13 was genetically modified to display the polypeptides of HBcAg in order to develop an alternative carrier system. HBcAg gene was inserted into the minor coat protein (pIII) gene of M13, and HBcAg was expressed on the phage surface as a whole protein. Antigenicity and immunogenicity of HBcAg were tested by immunizing BALB/c mice three times with HBcAg-displaying recombinant phages. After successful immunization, one of the mice with high antibody titer to HBcAg was selected for fusion, and four monoclonal antibodies specific for HBcAg were developed. This result showed that HBcAg-displaying recombinant bacteriophages are immunogenic and can potentially be used for the development of monoclonal antibodies. 相似文献
