This paper investigates the shock formation distance in a bounded sound beam of finite amplitude by solving the Khokhlov-Zabolotskaya-Kuznetsov (KZK) equation using frequency-domain numerical method. Simulation results reveal that, besides the nonlinearity and absorption, the diffraction is another important factor that affects the shock formation of a bounded sound beam. More detailed discussions of the shock formation in a bounded sound beam, such as the waveform of sound pressure and the spatial distribution of shock formation, are also presented and compared for different parameters. 相似文献

Mushroom tyrosinase was immobilized on modified polystyrene—polyaminostyrene (PSNH) and polymethylchloridestyrene (PSCL)—to
produce l-DOPA from l-tyrosine. Glutaraldehyde was used as an activating agent for the PSNH to immobilize the tyrosinase and 10% (w/v) glutaraldehyde
was optimal in conferring the highest specific activity (11.96 U/g) to the PSNH. Methylchloride on the PSCL was directly linked
with the tyrosinase, and 1.5 mmol of Cl/g was optimal in attaining the specific activity of 17.0 U/g. The temperature and
optimal acidity were, respectively, 60°C and pH 5.5 for the PSNH, and 70°C and pH 3.0 for the PSCL. In a 50-mL batch reactor
working over 36 h, the l-DOPA production rate at 30°C was 1.44 mg/(L·h) for the PSNH and 2.33 mg/(L·h) for the PSCL. The production rate over 36 h
was 3.86 mg/(L·h) for the PSNH at 60°C and 5.54 mg/(L·h) for the PSCL at 70°C. Both of the immobilized enzymes showed a remarkable
stability with almost no change in activity after being stored wet. The operational stability study indicated a 22.4% reduction
in l-DOPA production for the PSNH and an 8.63% reduction for the PSCL over seven runs (each run was for 144h at 30°C) when the
immobilized enzymes were used under turnover conditions. The immobilized tyrosinase was more stable on the PSCL than on the

In this paper, micro mobility problems in handoff binding latency in Mobile IPv6 and the enhanced Cellular Mobile IPv6 (CMIv6) are investigated using a new extension protocol. Frequent and fast movements usually characterize micro mobility. An enhanced handoff extension is adopted to solve the Mobile IPv6 handoff break in a micro mobility environment. The basic idea involves using the new field in the IPv6 header, flow label, to assist the foreign router delivering packets to the mobile node. The Foreign Home Agent (FHA) is a new defined node in this proposition. FHA can accurately deliver packets according to the mobile node IP address even though the new binding messages have not arrived at the CN. The simulations shown in this paper prove that the enhanced CMIv6 scheme can minimize packet loss during handoffs. 相似文献

This paper describes the synthesis of amphiphilic pseudo-semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (pseudo-semi-IPNs) containing linear poly(styrene) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) cross-linked through monodendritic fragments. A unique feature of the synthetic strategy is the permanent attachment of the linear segment to the PEG network by a transesterification reaction between the hydroxyl groups at both ends of the PEG and peripheral ethyl ester moieties in the monodendron portion of a linear poly(styrene)-dendritic poly(benzyl ether) AB block copolymer. The proceeding of the reaction is monitored by (1)H NMR and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). The formation of an interlock structure between the linear block and the network matrix in the pseudo-semi-IPN is evidenced by the results from spectroscopic analyses and differential scanning calorimetry measurements. The accessibility of functional centers in the grafted semi-IPN is confirmed by model reactions with fluorescent markers, fluorescence spectroscopy, and NMR techniques and shows the potential of these novel materials as sequestering reagents for resin capture-release applications in parallel synthesis, combinatorial chemistry, and advanced drug design. 相似文献

In this paper, all electro-optic solid immersion lens (EOSIL) is introduced, which is made of GaAs. A reflecting external electro-optic measuring system based on the EOSIL is built. With a hemispherical GaAs EOSIL used as the external probe, 0.7 µm spot size is obtained when the wavelength of the probing beam from a laser diode is 1.3 µm and a microscope objective with 0.3 numerical aperture is used. The principle of the measuring system is analyzed by Jones matrix. By using the system, the electrical signals propagating on a microstrip transmission line are successfully measured. The effects of anomalous dispersion (resonance) on multiple reflection of x rays and their interference in crystals at atomic absorption edges are studied. Intensity ratios of two inversion-symmetry-related multiple diffractions at or near absorption edges exhibit highly phase-sensitive profiles with strong asymmetric characteristics, unlike those far from the edges. A new resonance perturbation Bethe approach is developed to explain this behavior. This leads to direct determination of the phase change for x-ray reflections at resonance. 相似文献

We report a determination of the B(0)(d)-&B_(0)(d) mixing parameter Deltam(d) based on the time evolution of dilepton yields in Upsilon(4S) decays. The measurement is based on a 5.9 fb(-1) data sample collected by the Belle detector at KEKB. The proper-time difference distributions for same-sign and opposite-sign dilepton events are simultaneously fitted to an expression containing Deltam(d) as a free parameter. Using both muons and electrons, we obtain Deltam(d) = 0.463+/-0.008 (stat)+/-0.016 (syst) ps(-1). This is the first determination of Deltam(d) from time evolution measurements at the Upsilon(4S). We present a measurement of the standard model CP violation parameter sin2 phi(1) based on a 29.1 fb(-1) data sample collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. One neutral B meson is fully reconstructed as a J/psi K(S), psi(2S)K(S), chi(c1)K(S), eta(c)K(S), J/psi K(L), or J/psi K(*0) decay and the flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified from its decay products. From the asymmetry in the distribution of the time intervals between the two B meson decay points, we determine sin2 phi(1) = 0.99+/-0.14(stat)+/-0.06(syst). We conclude that we have observed CP violation in the neutral B meson system. 相似文献
