The coordination chemistry of 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and sodium 1,3-benzothiazole-2-thiolate (SBT) with selected s-block elements has been investigated. Four metal complexes were prepared and their structures were characterized using a variety of analytical techniques including infrared, UV–visible, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopies, elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reactions of phen and SBT with M(X)n (M = K(I), Cs(I), Mg(II), Sr(II); X = OH, CO3, Cl; n = 1, 2) in MeOH–H2O yielded one-dimensional chains of both potassium [K2(phen)2(BT)2(H2O)4]n ( 1 ) and caesium [Cs(phen)(BS)(H2O)]n ( 2 ) (where BT = 1,3-benzthiazole-2-thiolate and BS = 1,3-benzthiazole-2-sulfinothiolate) and mononuclear complexes of both magnesium {[Mg(phen)(H2O)4](BT)2·phen} ( 3 ) and strontium {[Sr(phen)2(H2O)4](BT)2} ( 4 ). In these complexes, phen binds via an N,N′ chelate pocket, while the monoanonic BT ligands either coordinate in a bidentate fashion (in the case of 1 ) or remain uncoordinated (in the case of 3 and 4 ). In complex 2 , SBT ligand was oxidized in situ into a new BS ligand. The sulfinothiolate oxygen atoms in BS coordinate with caesium in a tridentate fashion. Complexes 1 – 4 were evaluated against urease for enzyme inhibition. The complexes displayed significant inhibition with IC50 values in the range 10.8–45.8 μM. In order to examine the structure–activity relationship, the complexes were docked at the active site of urease. Docking results clearly demonstrate the binding of each complex within the active site of the enzyme.  相似文献

This study demonstrates the use of Raman spectroscopy for the direct measurement of diabetic sugar in human blood using 532 nm laser system. Raman spectra were collected from whole blood drawn from 21 individuals. We have elicited a reliable glucose signature in diabetic patients, and measured glucose levels in blood serum of normal, healthy diabetic and diabetic patients with other malignancies like cancer and hepatitis. Quantitative predictions of glucose spectra illustrate the predictions based on molecular information carried by the Raman light in highly light-scattering and absorbing media. Raman spectrum peaks for diabetic blood serum are observed at 1168, 1531, 1463, 1021 cm?1 with intensity level 17000 to 18500 pixels attributed to carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, collagen, and skeletal C-C stretch of lipids acyl chains. Raman spectra for normal, diabetic patients having cancer and hepatitis were also recorded. This in vitro glucose monitoring methodology will lead in vivo noninvasive on-line monitoring having painless and at the same time the data will be displayed on-line and in real time. The measured Raman peaks provides detailed bio-chemical fingerprint of the sample and could confer diagnostic benefit in a clinical setting.  相似文献

In this work Raman spectra of normal and dengue infected serum and whole blood were analyzed. In normal whole blood and serum characteristic peaks were observed when excited at 442 and 532 nm. In dengue whole blood and serum all peaks found to be blue shifted with reduced Raman intensity. Dengue whole blood and serum shows two peaks at 1614 and 1750 cm?1 which are due to presence of Immunoglobulin antibodies IgG and IgM. Whole study provides a route of information for diagnosis of dengue viral infection.  相似文献

As the typical building blocks of metamaterials, the cut wire and the split ring resonator have been extensively studied in recent years. Besides them, the space-filling curve-based metamaterials are receiving great attentions because of their intrinsic subwavelength and multi-bands characteristics. In this work, we have investigated experimentally and numerically the electromagnetic characteristics of such Hilbert curve metamaterial in the microwave frequency regime and found a deeply subwavelength magnetic resonance supported by the fractal pattern and featuring the wavelength-to-size ratio more than 20. The subwavelength electromagnetic properties of the Hilbert curve will be beneficial to realize high-performance metamaterials.  相似文献

Supercontinuum (SC) light source is designed using high pressure Xe-filled hollow core Kagome-lattice photonic crystal fiber. Using finite element method with perfectly matched layer, SC spectra in normal chromatic dispersion region have been generated using picosecond optical pulses from relatively less expensive laser sources.  相似文献
