Delineation of ECT images using global constraints and dynamic programming

A model-based delineation algorithm is presented. It is a flexible model fitting algorithm, approaching contour detection as an optimization problem. An objective function is introduced, which depends not only on local contour features, but also on a global shape constraint. The latter is implemented as the similarity to the instance of a parametric shape model. The algorithm optimizes both the contour points and the parameters of the model. As a result, both global and local characteristics of the contour are determined as a compromise between photometric data and prior knowledge. The method was applied to myocardial perfusion SPECT images, to delineate the entire left ventricle (endocardium and epicardium), including possible regions of reduced perfusion. By adapting the balance between the image data and the shape model, images with different characteristics can be processed, including Thallium-201 and MIBI scans.     

Boundary scan test,test methodology,and fault modeling

The test technique called boundary scan test (BST) offers new opportunities in testing but confronts users with new problems too. The implementation of BST in a chip has become an IEEE standard and users on board level are the next group to begin thinking about using the new possibilities. This article addresses some of the questions about changes in board-level testing and fault diagnosis. The fault model itself is also affected by using BST. Trivial items are extended with more sophisticated details in order to complete the fault model. Finally, BST appears to be a test technique that offers a high degree of detectability on board level, but for diagnosis, some additional effort has to be made.

一种基于分布式融合策略的声定位方法

随着城市环境中对各类目标声检测的需求的发展,开发分布式组网声探测手段越来越有必要。然而对于分布式组网声探测技术,当前的声定位方法对全链路的数据传输依赖程度较高,通信传输会带来巨大的带宽压力和很高的通信成本。因此,本文从能耗的角度研究分布式融合声定位的方法,提出通过分布式位置的声事件能量幅度进行目标的融合定位处理,并通过试验测试进行了可行性验证。验证结果表明,无线声感知网络可以在只接收幅度信息且激发少数节点的情况下实现对目标的定位,定位精度的均方根误差(Root Mean Square Error,RMSE)不大于6 m。     

Explicit Traveling Wave Solutions and Their Dynamical Behaviors for the Coupled Higgs Field Equation

In this paper, we focus on the traveling wave solutions of the coupled Higgs field equation from the perspective of dynamical systems. Through the phase portraits, in addition to periodic wave solutions and solitary wave solutions, we also obtain explicit periodic singular wave solutions, singular wave solutions and kink wave solutions, which were not found in the previous works. The dynamical behavior of these solutions and their internal relations are revealed through asymptotic analysis. The results will help supplement the study of field equation.     

The inclusion of rhodium(II)α-methyl-cinnamate in β-cyclodextrin

The preparation and characterization of the 1:1 inclusion compound of rhodium(II) -methyl cinnamate in -cyclodextrin is reported. Evidence of inclusion was obtained from X-ray powder diffraction results, Raman, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic studies and thermal analysis. Given the potential antitumor activity of the rhodium(II) carboxylate and its virtual insolubility in water, its inclusion in -cyclodextrin opens the possibility for its transference to the aqueous phase.     

Ambiguous loci of the metric projection onto compact starshaped sets in a Banach space

LetE be a real Banach space andL(E) the family of all nonempty compact starshaped subsets ofE. Under the Hausdorff distance,L(E) is a complete metric space. The elements of the complement of a first Baire category subset ofL(E) are called typical elements ofL(E). ForXL(E) we denote by the metrical projection ontoX, i.e. the mapping which associates to eachaE the set of all points inX closest toa. In this note we prove that, ifE is strictly convex and separable with dimE2, then for a typicalXL(E) the map is not single valued at a dense set of points. Moreover, we show that a typical element ofL(E) has kernel consisting of one point and set of directions dense in the unit sphere ofE.     

Hardy Spaces on the Plane and Double Fourier Transforms

We provide a direct computational proof of the known inclusion where is the product Hardy space defined for example by R. Fefferman and is the classical Hardy space used, for example, by E.M. Stein. We introduce a third space of Hardy type and analyze the interrelations among these spaces. We give simple sufficient conditions for a given function of two variables to be the double Fourier transform of a function in and respectively. In particular, we obtain a broad class of multipliers on and respectively. We also present analogous sufficient conditions in the case of double trigonometric series and, as a by-product, obtain new multipliers on and respectively.
