The odd mass nucleus 137Pm has been studied to high spins through the 109Ag(32S, 2p2n)137Pm reaction at an incident beam energy of 150 MeV. The de-exciting ??-rays were detected using an array of 18 Compton suppressed clover detectors. The level scheme of 137Pm has been extended up to $J^\pi = \tfrac{{43}} {2}^ -$ and excitation energy of E x ? 6 MeV with the observation of 42 new gamma transitions. The linear polarization (IPDCO) measurements for the ??-ray transitions have been done for the first time. The spin and parity assignments for most of the reported levels have been made using these results and the coincidence angular anisotropy (RDCO) measurements. The nuclear shape evolution is discussed in the light of Total Routhian Surface (TRS) and Cranked Shell Model (CSM) calculations.  相似文献

We study three-dimensional conformal field theories described by U(N) Chern?CSimons theory at level k coupled to massless fermions in the fundamental representation. By solving a Schwinger?CDyson equation in light-cone gauge, we compute the exact planar free energy of the theory at finite temperature on ?2 as a function of the ??t?Hooft coupling ??=N/k. Employing a dimensional reduction regularization scheme, we find that the free energy vanishes at |??|=1; the conformal theory does not exist for |??|>1. We analyze the operator spectrum via the anomalous conservation relation for higher spin currents, and in particular show that the higher spin currents do not develop anomalous dimensions at leading order in 1/N. We present an integral equation whose solution in principle determines all correlators of these currents at leading order in 1/N and present explicit perturbative results for all three-point functions up to two loops. We also discuss a light-cone Hamiltonian formulation of this theory where a W ?? algebra arises. The maximally supersymmetric version of our theory is ABJ model with one gauge group taken to be U(1), demonstrating that a pure higher spin gauge theory arises as a limit of string theory.  相似文献

This paper investigates the effectiveness of phase noise suppression by incoherent addition in a passively mode-locked fiber laser. Incoherent addition is achieved by using an interferometer external to the mode-locked laser. Two different types of interferometers, Mach–Zehnder and ring, are investigated experimentally for different background phase noise levels. Measurements show that both types of interferometers can achieve good phase noise reduction for a background phase noise level above ? 130 dBc/Hz. Effects of dispersion management and pulse train intensity ratio in the interferometers are also discussed. Multi-stage cascaded interferometers are proposed for supermode noise suppression of harmonically actively mode-locked lasers.  相似文献

A series of zeolite-Y encapsulated hybrid catalysts, [M(STCH)·xH2O]-Y have been prepared by encapsulating Schiff base complexes [where M?=?Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II); (x?=?3) and Cu(II); (x?=?1); H2STCH?=?salicylaldehyde thiophene-2-carboxylic hydrazone] in zeolite-Y matrix by flexible ligand method. These hybrid materials have been characterized by various physico-chemical techniques such as ICP-OES, elemental analyses, (FT-IR and electronic) spectral studies, BET, scanning electron micrographs, thermal analysis and X-ray powder diffraction patterns. X-ray powder diffraction analysis reveals that the structural integrity of the mother zeolite in the hybrid material remained intact upon immobilization of the complex. Density functional theory is employed to calculate the relaxed structure, bond angle, bond distance, dihedral angle, difference of highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energies gap and electronic density of states of ligand and their neat transition metal complexes. The hybrid materials are active catalysts for the hydroxylation of phenol using hydrogen peroxide (30% H2O2) as an oxidant in order to selectively synthesize catechol or hydroquinone, amongst them [Cu(STCH)·H2O]-Y shown the highest % of selectivity towards catechol (81.3%).  相似文献

[5+2] Cycloaddition followed by asymmetric dihydroxylation procedure have been utilized to prepare novel cyclitols. Accordingly, rac-2α-hydroxy-6α-ethoxy-1,5-anhydro cyclohept-3-ene, 10 derived from [5+2] cycloaddition of 3-oxidopyrylium ylide and vinyl ether has been recognized as a seven-membered carbasugar equivalent and elaborated to 1,4,5-tribenzoyloxy-2-ethoxy cycloheptanes through a flexible, regio- and stereoselective strategy involving Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation conditions to resolve the compounds obtained. The structures and relative configurations of newly synthesized (+)-2α-acetoxy-6α-ethoxy-3β,4β-dihydroxy-1,5-anhydro cycloheptane ((+)-12)); (−)-1β,4β,5β-tribenzoyloxy-6α-ethoxy cycloheptane ((−)-17) and (+)-1α,4α,5α-tribenzoyloxy-6β-ethoxy cycloheptane ((+)-17) are unambiguously established by single crystal X-ray analysis and duly supported by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy data.  相似文献

The stacking fault energy of single crystals has been reported using the peak shift method. Presently studied all single crystals are grown by using a direct vapor transport (DVT) technique in the laboratory. The structural characterizations of these crystals are made by XRD. Considerable variations are shown in deformation (α) and growth (β) probabilities in single crystals due to off-stoichiometry, which possesses the stacking fault in the single crystal.  相似文献

Correlation between the dynamic viscosity (η) and the microviscosity of a hybrid green medium constituted of water and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) of average molar mass (200, 400, and 600) g · mol?1, respectively, is explored over the temperatures range (10 to 90) °C across the complete composition regime. The microviscosity is obtained using a fluorescence probe 1,3-bis-(1-pyrenyl)propane (BPP), which is manifested through the ratio of the monomer-to-intramolecular excimer intensities (IM/IE). Aqueous PEG mixtures are observed to behave similar to Newtonian fluids as the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity follows Arrhenius-type behavior. Surprisingly, a simple and convenient linear dependence of ln η with wt% PEG of the mixture is established. The BPP IM/IE is observed, in general, to increase with the bulk dynamic viscosity of the mixture having >10 wt% PEG suggesting a good correlation between the bulk dynamic viscosity and BPP-reported microviscosity when the viscosity of the aqueous PEG mixture is relatively high.  相似文献

Experiments were performed to study the diffusion process between matrix and fracture while there is flow in fracture. 2-inch diameter and 6-inch length Berea sandstone and Indiana limestone samples were cut cylindrically. An artificial fracture spanning between injection and production ends was created and the sample was coated with heat-shrinkable teflon tube. A miscible solvent (heptane) was injected from one end of the core saturated with oil at a constant rate. The effects of (a) oil type (mineral oil and kerosene), (b) injection rates, (c) orientation of the core, (d) matrix wettability, (e) core type (a sandstone and a limestone), and (f) amount of water in matrix on the oil recovery performance were examined. The process efficiency in terms of the time required for the recovery as well as the amount of solvent injected was also investigated. It is expected that the experimental results will be useful in deriving the matrix–fracture transfer function by diffusion that is controlled by the flow rate, matrix and fluid properties.  相似文献

Ashcroft's local empty core (EMC) model pseudopotential in the second-orderperturbation theory is used to study the electron dispersion relation, theFermi energy, and deviation in the Fermi energy from free electron value forthe liquid alkali metals and their equiatomic binary alloys for the firsttime. In the present computation, the use of pseudo-alloy-atom model (PAA)is proposed and found successful. The influence of the six different formsof the local field correction functions proposed by Hartree (H), Vashishta-Singwi (VS), Taylor (T), Ichimaru-Utsumi (IU), Farid et al. (F), andSarkar et al. (S) on the aforesaid electronic properties is examined explicitly,which reflects the varying effects of screening. The depth of the negativehump in the electron dispersion of liquid alkalis decreases in the orderLi →K, except for Rb and Cs, it increases. The results of alloys are in predictive nature.  相似文献

This paper presents a methodology for extraction of the electrical package parasitics of insulated gate bipolar transistor power modules using simple electrical measurements. Non-idealities of device performance in zero-voltage and zero-current switching are exploited to obtain the parasitic collector and emitter inductance. Simple impedance measurements are performed to extract gate inductance and resistance. The extraction methodology is validated by comparing two-dimensional numerical simulation results including package parasitics with measured data. A close match between the two indicates the robustness of the extraction procedure  相似文献
