This paper presents a novel method of designing active inductors using current-controlled voltage sources (CCVSs). The basic idea consists of designing an equivalent inductor, using only capacitors and CCVSs. The signal-flow graph technique is used for this purpose. The CCVSs are emulated by means of nullator/norator pairs. These elements are then realized using second generation current conveyors (CCIIs), and a combination of CCIIs and operational transconductance amplifiers. In addition, a novel design of simulated inductors using operational transresistance amplifiers is presented. The proposed inductors were used to design filters. SPICE simulations are given to highlight viability and to show good reached results.  相似文献

The minimum variance spectral estimator, also known as the Capon spectral estimator, is a high resolution spectral estimator used extensively in practice. In this paper, we derive a novel implementation of a very computationally demanding matched filter-bank based a spectral estimator, namely the multi-dimensional Capon spectral estimator. To avoid the direct computation of the inverse covariance matrix used to estimate the Capon spectrum which can be computationally very expensive, particularly when the dimension of the matrix is large, we propose to use the discrete Zhang neural network for the online covariance matrix inversion. The computational complexity of the proposed algorithm for one-dimensional (1-D), as well as for two-dimensional (2-D) and three-dimensional (3-D) data sequences is lower when a parallel implementation is used.  相似文献

This paper presents the analysis of outage probability for a cooperative diversity wireless network using amplify-and-forward relays over independent non-identical distributed Weibull and Weibull-lognormal fading channels for single as well as multiple relays. To reach that end, a closed-from expression for the moment-generating function of the total signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) at the destination is derived in terms of the tabulated Meijer’s G-function. Since it is hard to determine the exact probability distribution function of the SNR, a tight lower bound approximation is proposed. Simulation results are presented that show that the outage probability lower bound tends to be tight at high SNR values thus verifying the analytical results. The results also show the potential gain of relaying on the outage probability.  相似文献

A novel series of chiral liquid crystalline tripedes Glucoside and Mannoside derivatives G(n) and M(n) (n=1-3) have been synthesised. The inner cores consist of methyl α-D-Glucoside G or methyl α-D-Mannoside M, regioselectively functionalised at the less hindered position C6, with tert-butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS), hydroxyl or carboxylic acid moieties. The cores, which can acquire several flexible conformations, are attached to rod-like smectogenic-preferring cyanobiphenyl units, by means of a flexible hexanoyl spacer. These Glyco-Supermolecules exhibit chiral nematic (N*) and smectic A (SmA) phases. The combined effects of core chirality and functional groups on thermal and mesomorphic characteristics are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the variational problem in the non-negative orthant of ℝ3. The solution of this problem gives the large deviation rate function for the stationary distribution of an SRBM (Semimartingal Reflecting Brownian Motion). Avram, Dai and Hasenbein (Queueing Syst. 37, 259–289, 2001) provided an explicit solution of this problem in the non-negative quadrant. Building on this work, we characterize reflective faces of the non-negative orthant of ℝ d , we construct boundary influence cones and we provide an explicit solution of several constrained variational problems in ℝ3. Moreover, we give conditions under which certain spiraling paths to a point on an axis have a cost which is strictly less than the cost of every direct path and path with two pieces.  相似文献

We report the generation of a 95?GHz carrier frequency by optical heterodyning of two wavelengths from adjacent channels from an arrayed waveguide grating-based multiwavelength laser. The extended cavity structure of the device provides low phase noise and narrow optical linewidth, further enhanced by the intracavity filter effect of the arrayed waveguide grating. We demonstrate that the generated RF beat note, at 95?GHz, has a -3 dB linewidth of 250?kHz. To the best of our knowledge, this is the narrowest RF linewidth generated from a free-running dual-wavelength semiconductor laser. The device is realized as a photonic integrated circuit using active-passive integration technology, and fabricated on a multiproject wafer run, constituting a novel approach for a compact, low-cost dual-wavelength heterodyne source.  相似文献

Continuation of the phytochemical analysis of Erica cinerea fresh aerial parts resulted in the isolation of two new compounds with a very close chromatographic behavior. On the basis of spectroscopic evidence (UV, MS and NMR), the structures were established as (−)-(3S,6E)-1,9-bis(p-hydroxyphenyl)-3-hydroxynon-6-en-5-one 3-O-β-d-glucoside named 6,7-anhydroericaone 3-O-β-d-glucoside and (−)-(3S)-1,9-bis(p-hydroxyphenyl)-3-hydroxynonan-5,6-dione 3-O-β-d-glucoside named α-ericadione 3-O-β-d-glucoside. Unanticipated by its α-alkadione type structure —a very unusual feature in the plant kingdom— the latter metabolite was found as a mixture of the minor s-cis and the major s-trans conformers. Moreover, the GC-MS analysis of the aglycone moieties of such glucosides, pointed out the permanent absence of the molecular ion and the constant hydroxybenzylium base peak, as well as the conversion of the α-dione into the major α-keto-enol tautomer.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that anisotropic homogeneous Besov spaces B?p,qs,u(Rd) are gentle spaces, for all parameters s,p,q and all anisotropies u. Using the Littlewood–Paley decomposition, we study their completeness, separability, duality and homogeneity. We then define the notion of anisotropic orthonormal wavelet basis of L2(Rd), and we show that the homogeneous version of Triebel families of anisotropic orthonormal wavelet bases associated to the tensor product of Lemarié–Meyer (resp. Daubechies) wavelets are particular examples. We characterize the B?p,qs,u(Rd) spaces using Lemarié–Meyer wavelets. In fact, we show that these bases will be either unconditional bases or unconditional 1-weak bases of B?p,qs,u(Rd), depending on whether B?p,qs,u(Rd) is separable or not. By introducing an anisotropic version of the class of almost diagonal matrices related to anisotropic orthonormal wavelet bases, we prove that these spaces are stable under changes of anisotropic orthonormal wavelet bases. As a consequence, we extend the characterization of B?p,qs,u(Rd) using Daubechies wavelets.  相似文献

The frequency-locking area of 2:1 and 1:1 resonances in a fast harmonically excited van der Pol–Mathieu–Duffing oscillator is studied. An averaging technique over the fast excitation is used to derive an equation governing the slow dynamic of the oscillator. A perturbation technique is then performed on the slow dynamic near the 2:1 and 1:1 resonances, respectively, to obtain reduced autonomous slow flow equations governing the modulation of amplitude and phase of the corresponding slow dynamics. These equations are used to determine the steady state responses, bifurcations and frequency-response curves. Analysis of quasi-periodic vibrations is carried out by performing multiple scales expansion for each of the dependent variables of the slow flows. Results show that in the vicinity of both considered resonances, fast harmonic excitation can change the nonlinear characteristic spring behavior from softening to hardening and causes the entrainment regions to shift. It was also shown that entrained vibrations with moderate amplitude can be obtained in a small region near the 1:1 resonance. Numerical simulations are performed to confirm the analytical results.  相似文献
