A highly efficient cascaded P-doped Raman fiber laser (RFL) pumped by a 1064-nm continuous wave (CW) Nd:YVO4 solid-state laser is reported. 1.15-W CW output power at 1484 nm is obtained while the input pump power is 4 W, corresponding to the power conversion efficiency of 28.8%. The threshold pump power for the second-order Stokes radiation is 1.13 W. The slope efficiency is as high as 42.6%. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical ones. Furthermore, the power instability of the P-doped RFL at 1484 nm in an hour is observed to be less than 5%.  相似文献

A practical two-stage double-pass structure using high concentration erbium-doped fiber and 1480-nm pump laser diode is suggested for a high power and broad bandwidth erbium-doped superfluorcscent fiber source. A considerable increase in output power and bandwidth extension is achieved by adding an unpumped fiber and a broadband fiber mirror to make the most of wasted backward amplified spontaneous emission as both pump and input light source simultaneously. Superfluorcscent fiber source with nearly 80-nm bandwidth and 28.6-mW output power is obtained experimentally.  相似文献

采用后向抽运的两级级联的掺铒光纤超荧光光源的新型结构,运用同步抽运技术对两级光纤按比例进行后向抽运,从而实现高效率且中心波长稳定的L波段超荧光光源输出.研究了光纤总长度、两级光纤长度分配以及抽运比例对超荧光光源输出特性参数的影响.结果表明,通过采用两级级联后向结构可以将光谱从C波段有效地转移到L波段,而且能够实现在高抽运功率下具有中心波长对抽运功率波动不敏感的特性.在290 mW功率1:1抽运下,实验获得了输出功率97 mW,线宽47.3 nm,中心波长稳定的L波段超荧光光源.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a phase multiplication algorithm (PMA) to obtain scalable fringe precision in laser self-mixing interferometer under a weak feedback regime. Merely by applying the double angle formula on the self-mixing signal multiple times, the continuously improved fringe precision will be obtained. Theoretical analysis shows that the precision of the fringe could be improved to λ/2n+1. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by means of simulated SMI signals and confirmed by experiments under different amplitudes. A fringe precision of λ/128 at a sampling rate of 500 kS/s has been achieved after doing 6th the PMA. Finally, an amplitude of 50 nm has been proved to be measurable and the absolute error is 3.07 nm, which is within the theoretical error range. The proposed method for vibration measurement has the advantage of high accuracy and reliable without adding any additional optical elements in the optical path, thus it will play an important role in nanoscale measurement field.  相似文献

利用YVO4双折射晶体,设计了一种新型光通讯密集波分复用(DWDM)系统波长监控的方案,分析了其工作原理,并对方案的可行性进行了实验研究。理论和实验结果均表明,这种方案能够用于整个C波段的DWDM系统工作波长监控与锁定。这种方案与使用F-P标准具的透射谱进行波长监控的方法相比,具有标准工作波长容易判定、监控灵敏度倍增和易于集成等优点。  相似文献

A temperature-tunable polarization interference filter (PIF) made of YVO4 crystal has been presented and applied for wavelength locking of a distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser in dense wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) optical communication systems. This new design offers a flexible way to monitor and then lock an operating wavelength of DFB laser to any preselected point without dead spots. The results show that the laser wavelength can be locked with accuracy better than ±0.01 nm with much relaxed requirement on temperature stability of the filter.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a method based on self-mixing interferometry combing extreme learning machine for real-time human blood pressure measurement. A signal processing method based on wavelet transform is applied to extract reversion point in the self-mixing interference signal, thus the pulse wave profile is successfully reconstructed. Considering the blood pressure values are intrinsically related to characteristic parameters of the pulse wave, 80 samples from the MIMIC-II database are used to train the extreme learning machine blood pressure model. In the experiment, 15 measured samples of pulse wave signal are used as the prediction sets. The results show that the errors of systolic and diastolic blood pressure are both within 5 mmHg compared with that by the Coriolis method.  相似文献

使用20 W/1.06 μm掺镱双包层光纤激光器作为抽运源, 抽运由300 m国产掺磷光纤和光纤光栅构成的级联拉曼谐振腔, 进行了高功率1.48 μm级联拉曼光纤激光器的实验研究。实验研究了不同反射率的输出光纤光栅对拉曼激光阈值和激光效率的影响。结果表明激光阈值随输出光纤光栅反射率的增加而减小。当使用25.7%的输出光纤光栅时, 激光器具有最大的转换效率, 在入腔抽运功率为12.1 W时, 获得了最大2.8 W/1.48 μm连续波激光输出, 相应的激光斜率效率和转换效率分别为31.3%和23.1%。通过监测1.48 μm激光的最大输出功率, 2 h内的功率波动小于5%。  相似文献

本文给出掺Yb光纤脉冲放大的实验结果,在一段长18m的Yb光纤中获得了超过26dB的增益.利用1.053μm单模LD激光器作注入信号.重复频率为1kHz,脉宽分别为1μs、2μs、5μs、10μs.增益与泵浦功率等关系的实验结果表明增益对泵浦功率、光纤长度和信号功率敏感。当小信号放大时,输出脉冲不失真,表明该放大器可用于高脉冲能量激光的前置放大.  相似文献
