Numerical investigation of effect of rolling manipulation of traditional Chinese medical massage on blood flow

The hemodynamic mechanism of rolling manipulation (RM) of traditional Chinese medical massage (TCMM) is investigated. An axisymmetrical nonlinear model and an arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian finite element method (ALE-FEM) with rezoning algorithm were introduced to study the viscous flow through an axisymmetrical rigid tube with axially moving stenosis to simulate the rolling manipulation. Flow rate and wall shear stress were obtained by solving complete Navier-Stokes equations numerically. The numerical results show that the stenosis moving frequency, namely the frequency of rolling manipulation, has great effect on the disturbance of flow and the wall shear stress. The stenosis coefficient, which characterizes the severity of the stenosis, another adjustable parameter in rolling manipulation, also shows the significant effect on flow rate and wall shear stress. These numerical results may provide some data that can be taken into consideration when massage is used in clinic.

含有不同价态的同一元素原子的化合物命名法在有机化合物命名原则的基础上提出了化合物中存在不同价态同一元素原子时的命名方法,称为λ-标志法(lambda convention)。本法的初议曾发表于1982年,最后修订稿由国际纯粹和应用化学协会的有机命名小组于1983年讨论定稿,并发表于1984年。现节译于下,供国内化学工作者参考。     

中国经济转型能否持续？

A NEW HUMAN INTERFERON-γ MUTANT HARBORING EGF RECEPTOR-INTERFERING SEQUENCE POSSESSES HIGH ANTIPROLIFERATIVE ACTIVITY

An interferon gamma (IFN-γ) mutant gene harboring an additionamal epidermal growth factor (EGF) sequence at its 3' terminal was constructed and highly expressed in E. coli by using pBV220 as a vector. The new fusion protein-lFN-γ-EGF possesses not only high antiviral activity, but also high antiproliferative effect as demonstrated by ~3H-TdR incorporation method using CN Ⅱ ceils which are rich in EGF receptors.     

THE VACCINIA VIRUS HindⅢ K FRAGMENT ENCODES A NOVEL PROTEIN BELONGING TO THE SERPIN SUPERFAMILY

The 1893-base pair nucleotide sequence of the EcoRⅠ-HindⅢ fragment of vaccinia virus Tiantan strain HindⅢ K clone is determined by the dideoxy chain termination method. A search in the NBRF protein sequence database using FASTA and other microcomputer programs reveals that several proteins belonging to the serpin (serine protease inhibitor) superfamily have striking similarities to tho protein encoded by the HindⅢ Kl ORF. On the basis of the dot-matrix analysis and sequence alignment, the Kl-encoded protein is shown as a novel member of the serpin superfamily. The putative reactive site and switch sequence of this novel serpin are then compared with those of other serpins. The probable evolutionary and possible functional relationships are discussed.

含内生结构突变的STR模型检验及应用研究

文章研究了含内生结构突变的平滑转换(STR)模型的检验问题,依据特殊一一般一特殊的建模原则给出了检验过程及对应的检验统计量SupLM,Monte Carlo模拟表明各检验统计量的检验功效较高。文章提出的建模过程和检验统计量能检测出非线性和结构突变同时或者单独一种存在时的情形。结构突变或者非线性特征越明显,相应的检验统计量功效越高,相对而言,针对结构突变的检验功效高于非线性检验功效。最后,应用含结构突变的ESTR模型探讨了人民币对美元汇率的收益变化特征,发现新汇改以来汇率收益序列不单有结构突变,也存在非线性。
