A Bidirectional, Diode-Pumped, Passively Mode-Locked Nd：YVO4 Ring Laser with a Low-Temperature-Grown Semiconductor Saturable Absorber Mirror

We report the operation of a bidirectional picosecond pulsed ring Nd：YVO4 laser based on a low-temperaturegrown semiconductor saturable absorber mirror. Except for the laser crystal, the six-mirror ring laser cavity has no intra-cavity elements such as focusing lens or mirror. The bidirectional mode locked pluses are obtained at the repetition rate of 117.5 MHz, pulse duration of 81 ps, power of 2 × 200 mW.     

Simultaneous Magneto-Optical Trapping of Fermionic ^40K and Bosonic ^87Rb Atoms

We report on simultaneous magneto-optical trapping of fermionic ^40K and bosonic 87Rb atoms. This trap is the first step towards quantum degenerate fermi gas ^40K. Laser lights for the two-species magneto-optical trap （MOT） are generated from diode lasers and tapered amplifier. The enriched ^40K dispenser is utilized in the experimental setup. We obtain up to 10^7 -10^8 ^40K and 10^8 -10^9 ^87Rb atoms respectively in the steady-state single-species MOT.     

An All-Solid-State Tunable Dual-Wavelength Ti：Sapphire Laser with Quasi-Continuous-Wave Outputs

A high power dual-wavelength Ti：sapphire laser system with wide turning range and high efficiency is described, which consists of two prism-dispersed resonators pumped by an a11-solid-state frequency-doubled Nd：YAG laser. Tunable dual-wavelength outputs, with one wavelength range from 750nm to 795nm and the other from 80Ohm to 850nm, have been demonstrated. With a pump power of 23 W at 532nm, a repetition rate of 6.5kHz and a pulse width of 67.6ns, the maximum dual-wavelength output power of 5.6 W at 785.3nm and 812.1 run, with a pulse width of 17.2ns and a line width of 2nm, has been achieved, leading to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 24.4%.

恒包络信号识别与快速突发捕获

为了迅速判断恒包络信号的起始点,详细推导了信号平坦度的计算公式,将信号平坦度概念引入到信号捕获和端点检测领域,在快衰落信道下通过计算噪声和信号平坦度不同,快速区分噪声和恒包络信号;并利用搜索窗快速定位信号起始点位置。经过试验表明在信噪比不低于5dB条件下,该参数能够迅速捕获恒包络信号,并能准确得判定信号的起始点位置,该方法适用在实时性要求比较高的领域。     

圆屏(球)和圆环菲涅耳衍射的解析表达式

在标量衍射理论的基础上，给出了圆屏（球）和圆环菲涅耳衍射的振幅及光强解极表达式。计算了光强分布曲线，并将计算实例和有关资料中的实验与计算结果进行了比较。同时指出所谓无衍射光束实际上是一种菲涅耳衍射现象。     

毫米波非辐射性介质波导滤波器的实验设计

非辐射性介质波导是适用于无辐射(由于弯曲和不连续引起的)且损耗小的毫米波集成电路的介质波导。本文研究了采用这种波导的50千兆赫波段的带通滤波器和带阻滤波器。一般说来,滤波器可根据谐振器的耦合系数和负载时的Q值来设计,但从理论上求出这些值未必容易。这里研究了一种实验设计方法,它也能适用于其结构在理论分析上有困难的滤波器。如设计并试制了由聚四氟乙烯圆形谐振器组成的、中心频率为49.5千兆赫的3节带通滤波器和3节带阻滤波器,结果所得到的滤波器具有良好的特性,已经证实,带通滤波器的插入损耗的测量值为0.3分贝,而带阻滤波器的传输损耗也在30分贝以上,这种滤波器是很实用的。     

求解随机微分方程的二级Milstein方法(英文)

In this paper we discuss two-stage Miistein methods for solving Ito stochastic differential equations （SDEs）. Six fully explicit methods （TSM 1 -- TSM 6） are given in this paper. Their order of strong convergence is proved. The stability properties and numerical results show the effectiveness of these methods in the pathwise approximation of Ito SDEs.
