It is shown how the cross-correlation time and strength of coloured cross-correlated white noises can set an upper bound for the time derivative of entropy in a nonequilibrium system. The value of upper bound can be calculated directly based on the Schwartz inequality principle and the Fokker--Planck equation of the dynamical system driven by coloured cross-correlated white noises. The present calculations can be used to interpret the interplay of the dissipative constant and cross-correlation

Stochastic resonance in a time-delayed asymmetric bistable system with mixed periodic signal 下载免费PDF全文
This paper studies the phenomenon of stochastic resonance
in an asymmetric bistable system with time-delayed feedback and
mixed periodic signal by using the theory of signal-to-noise ratio
in the adiabatic limit. A general approximate Fokker--Planck
equation and the expression of the signal-to-noise ratio are derived
through the small time delay approximation at both fundamental
harmonics and mixed harmonics. The effects of the additive noise
intensity $Q$, multiplicative noise intensity $D$, static asymmetry
$r$ and delay time $\tau$ on the signal-to-noise ratio are
discussed. It is found that the higher mixed harmonics and the
static asymmetry $r$ can restrain stochastic resonance, and the
delay time $\tau $ can enhance stochastic resonance. Moreover, the
longer the delay time $\tau $ is, the larger the additive noise
intensity $Q$ and the multiplicative noise intensity $D$ are, when

Elemental analysis of archaeological bone plays an important role in the study of the dietary habits of ancient animals. The elemental characteristic of diagenetic skeletons depends on the surrounding circumstance. The study of environmental influence on the elemental concentration of ancient bone is significant. In this paper, the diagenetic influence on archaeological skeletons is analyzed by microbeam X-ray fluorescence (p.-XRF). The results show that the enamel is an excellent barrier to the diagenesis and the element Sr in bone isn't susceptible to contamination from the buried environment. 相似文献

A stochastic dynamical system with double singularities
driven by non-Gaussian noise is investigated. The Fokker--Plank
equation of the system is obtained through the path-integral
approach and the method of transformation. Based on the definition
of Shannon's information entropy and the Schwartz inequality
principle, the upper bound for the time derivative of entropy is
calculated both in the absence and in the presence of
non-equilibrium constraint. The present calculations can be used to
interpret the effects of the system dissipative parameter, the
system singularity strength parameter, the noise correlation time
