Zircon SHRIMP age of Mesoarchaean meta-argilloarenaceous rock in the Anshan area and its geological significance

In order to better understand the early continental evolution of the Anshan area, one ofthe typical Precambrian distribution areas of the North China Craton, the geochronology and REEcomposition of the zircons from the meta-argillo-arenaceous rock occurred as enclave in 3.1 GaLishan trondhjemite are studied by using SHRIMP ll ion microprobe. It is indicated that the Pa-leoarchaean is a very important continental formation period in the Anshan area and 3.2 Ga can beregarded as the boundary between the Paleoarchaean and Mesoarchaean.     

A THEORETICAL STUDY OF THE STRATOSPHERIC SUDDEN WARMING

Using a three-layer quasi-geostrophic model including the motion of troposphere and stratosphere, and considering the jet shear of baroclinic basic flow, the different meridional structures of planetary waves and the interaction between wave-wave, we simulate the sudden warming processes and discuss their dynamical mechanism.     

一种简易的多次内反射红外装置的试制

通常的红外吸收光谱图是用红外光对样品进行透射(见图1a),样品吸收了其特征波长的光能,剩余部分的光进入分光器分光,再记录下来。这样,相当多的材料,如硫化橡胶、织物、涂层、纸张、泡沫塑料等样品,由于很难制备出很薄的试样,其厚度正适合于透射法可测的范围,试样厚度稍厚,红外全部透不过去,就难于得到其红外吸收光谱图。近年来由于 Harriek、Fahrenfort 等提出的内反射(Internal Reflection)技术的发展,上述困难就不复存在了,无须特殊制备试样,即可获得满意的谱图。内反射红外装置已成为近年来红外光谱仪必备附件之一。本文将介绍我们在 UR-10型红外光谱仪上,试制上述附件的情况。(一)原理先简要地介绍内反射原理。如将样品紧贴在一晶体表面上(晶体的材料是选择可以透过红外,折光指数又很大的物质,最常用的有 KRS-5晶体与锗晶体),当光束对样品与晶体的界面的入射角大于其临界角时,就发生全内反射(Total Internal Reflec-tion)即光能没有损失,全部反射了出去,其光路如图1b 所示,全内反射发生在样品完全不吸收红外时的情况。若样品对红外有特征吸收,那么反射出的能量就受到衰减,因为衰减是发生在试样的特征吸收峰处,所     

β-PHASE CRYSTALLIZATION OF ISOTACTIC POLYPROPYLENE

Effects of cooling rate and crystallization and melt temperatures on the melting curves of predomi-nately β-phase isotactic polypropylene (IPP) were investigated by using DSC instrument. Experimental re-sults indicate that the magnitude of βmelting endctherm increases with decreasing cooling rate and withincreasing crystallization temperature. The temperature of melt has no effect on the β-phase crystallizationof IPP below 300℃, but a further increase of the melt temperature will destroy the β-phase nuclei,then the β-phase crystals will not be produced upon cooling. The linear growth rates of α- and β-phasespherulites were determined as a function of temperature between 123 and 140℃. It was found that thegrowth rate of βspherulites is higher than that of αspherulites below 140℃. Studies of the kinetics ofβ-phase crystallization of IPP were also made using a DSC instrument. The results obtained do not fitthe usual Avrami equation. But it can be described by kinetic theory of imcomplete spher     

聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯的苯溶液粘度对切变速度的依赖性

作者用毛細管粘度計,在外加水柱壓力下,測定了聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯的四個經分級的試樣(M=4×10～5-5×10～6)和一個未經分級的試樣(M=5×10～6)在25°時苯溶液粘度的切變速度依賴性。在毛細管管壁的切變速度D_R,變化在500-8000秒～(-1) 的範圍內。對實驗數據首先試用了冪函數形式的流變函數來處理,除M=4×10～5的一個試樣外,溶液粘度都有切變速度依賴性。作者也依照Weisenberg的方法,從實驗數據作出了流變曲線。同時把非Newton溶液對Newton溶劑的相對粘度(η_r)′(在毛細管管壁切變應力S_R下)下定義為:(η_r)′=D_R(溶劑)/D_R(溶液)這樣得到的(η_r)′,除M=1.5×10～(-6)的一個試樣外,In(η_r)′可向D_R→0作線性外推外。對其他數據來說,這樣的外推都是不可能的,因為在D_R值愈小時,離線性的偏差愈大。有切變速度依賴性的高分子溶液,可以有二種方式來給特性粘數下定義:(1)在給定D_R值時,(?);(2) 在給定S_R值時,[η]_S=。祇有Newton液體,以這二種不同方式定義的特性粘數是等值的。作者得到的實驗數據在給定D_R值時,In(η_r)′/C對C的圖,線性是好的;但((η_r)′-1)/C對C的圖是彎曲的。在給定S_R值時,ln(η_r)′/C或((η_r)′-1)/C對C的圖都呈線性, 而且其外推值相同。[η]_D和[η]_S都隨D_R或S_R的增加而減少,向D_R→0或S_R→0的外推,都是不可能的;因為在低D_R或S_R值時,變化更大。根據這些結果,我們建議用D_R=3000秒～(-1)時的[η]_(D=3000) 或用S_R=25達因/厘米～2時的[η]_(S=25)來做粘度平均分子量的量度。在應用[η]_(S=25) 的數據時,假若用t_r=t/t_0。來代替(η_r)′(t_r與(η_r)′在溶液的非Newton程度不大時,相差很小),那末祇要在一個給定外加壓力下測定,可以達到快捷的要求。     

INTERACTION OF FORCED WAVE, FREE WAVE AND ZONAL FLOW (Ⅰ)——BIFURCATION OF THE EQUILIBRIA——BIFURCATION OF THE EQUILIBRIA

In this paper, two level quasi-geostrophic model is used to set up a simple nonlinear inter-action model including a near resonant forced wave component, a near baroclinically un-stable free wave and a zonal flow component. The dynamic mechanisms of the transition ofhigh and low index and index cycle are discussed. In the first part, the weak nonlinear problem with near baroclinic instability and nearresonant forcing are analysed. The simple periodic solution resulting from bifurcation ofHadley cell to Rossby transient wave and the more complicated solutions resulting from thebifurcation of the wave equilibria to mixed state with both forced stationary wave and tran-sient wave are discussed.     

THE INTERACTION BETWEEN FORCED WAVE,FREE WAVE AND ZONAL FLOW(Ⅱ)——QU ALITATIVE ANALYSIS FOR THE TRANSITION AND oSCILLATION OF HIGH AND LOW INDEXES

In this second part, the so-called "discontinuous vibration analysing" method is used to discuss the qualitative features of the solutions in the system set up in Part I. The system and the phase space are divided into two subsystems and two subspaces, which are corresponding to the slow and fast varying processes respectively. The qualitative vector field and trajectories for solutions are analysed and the mechanisms for the transition and nonuniform oscillation of high and low indexes are discussed.
