NETWORK CROWN ETHER POLYMERS WITH CENTRIC FUNCTIONAL GROUPS.Ⅱ.SYNTHESIS OF NETROWK CROWN ETHER POLYMER WITH PENDANT SULFIDE SIDE CHAIN AND ITS PLATINUM COMPLEX

Network crown ether polymer with pendant sulfide side chain in the network structure units has been synthesized via ring-opening copolymerization of β-ethylthioethyl glycidyl ether and diethylene glycol bisglycidyl ether.A kind of active catalyst suitable for this reaction was suggested.The title polymer was found to be a good ligand for platinous chloride,and the platinous complex could catalyze the hydrosilylation of ole fins with triethoxysilane efficiently.     

SYNTHESIS AND FLUORESCENCE STUDY OF St／DVB COPOLYMERS LABELLED WITH PYRENE GROUPS

Two kinds of St/DVB copolymer beeds containing(1-pyrenyl) formyl and (1-pyrenyl) methyl groups respectively have been synthesized by both functionalization and copolymerization.The fluorescence spectra of the swollen polymers synthesized are similar in shape to those of the corresponding model compounds,while the intensity ratio of excimer to monomer shows clear dependence on the contents of the pyrene groups.

Synthesis of Cholest—5—en—24—oxo—3β,19—Diacetate

Cholest-5-en-24-oxo-3β,19-diacetate was synthesized strarting form stigmasterol 3 via seven step reactions in 21.0% overall yield. It can be served as a key intermediate for the synthesis of many biologically active 19-hydroxylated sterols.     

Antitumour Acitivty of Chitosan Hydrogen Selenites

Chitosans reacted with selenious acid to prepare chitosan hydrogen selenites, which were found to be growth-inhibitory against sarcoma 180 solid tumor. The results indicated that the activity also depended on the molecular weight of chitosan supports.     

Novel Blue Light—emitting PPV—based Copolymer Containing Trazole and Carbazole Units

A novel alternating conjugated copolymer containing triazole and carbazole units was synthesized by the Witting reaction. The resulting bipolar conjugated polymer emits a pure light with good thermal stability, which is a promising candidate for polymer light emitting display.
