This work deals with a computational investigation on the small ballistic reentry Brazilian vehicle SAtélite de Reentrada Atmosférica (SARA). Hypersonic flows over the vehicle SARA at zero-degree angle of attack in chemical equilibrium and thermal nonequilibrium are modeled by the direct simulation Monte Carlo method, which has become the main technique for studying complex multidimensional rarefied flows, and which properly accounts for the nonequilibrium aspects of the flows. The emphasis of this paper is to examine the behavior of the primary properties during the high-altitude portion of SARA reentry. In this way, velocity, density, pressure, and temperature field are investigated for altitudes of 100, 95, 90, 85, and 80?km. In addition, comparisons based on geometry are made between axisymmetric and planar two-dimensional configurations. Some significant differences between these configurations were noted on the flowfield structure in the reentry trajectory. The analysis showed that the flow disturbances have different influence on velocity, density, pressure, and temperature along the stagnation streamline ahead of the capsule nose. It was found that the stagnation region is a thermally stressed zone. It was also found that the stagnation region is a zone of strong compression, high wall pressure. Wall pressure distributions are compared with those of available experimental data, and good agreement is found along the spherical nose for the altitude range investigated.  相似文献

In this work, two all-fiber interferometric configurations based on suspended core fibers (SCF) are investigated. A Fabry–Pérot cavity (FPC) made of SCF spliced in-between segments of single-mode and hollow-core fiber is proposed. The interferometric signals are generated by the refractive-index mismatches between the two fibers in the splice region and at the end of the suspended-core fiber. An alternative sensing head configuration formed by the insertion of a length of SCF as a birefringence element in a Sagnac loop interferometer is also demonstrated. In this structure, the interferometric signals are generated by interfering two counter propagating beams with different polarization states which propagate through a length of SCF as a birefringence element. The sensitivity to pressure and temperature was determined for both configurations. The results show that the pressure sensitivities are ? 4.68 × 10? 5 nm/psi and 0.032 nm/psi for FPC and Sagnac loop interferometers, respectively. The temperature sensitivity of both structures has been obtained and the results have been discussed.  相似文献

电阻式核磁共振(RDNMR)测量是1988年由德国马普所的von Klitzing研究小组针对GaAs二维电子气中少量核自旋的探测而提出的一种具有超高灵敏度的实验技术. 目前, RDNMR已经成为研究单层或双层GaAs二维电子气核自旋和电子自旋特性的重要手段. 由于为实现电阻式核磁共振测量所建立的动态核极化方法强烈依赖于GaAs特有的材料属性, 至今这一技术一直没有扩展应用到其他半导体低维系统中. 最近,本研究小组发展了一种动态核极化新方法,成功实现了对典型窄带半导体锑化铟(InSb) 二维电子气的电阻式核磁共振测量.本文在介绍电阻式核磁共振测量工作原理及已建立的典型动态核极化方法的基础上,着重讨论所提出的动态核极化新方法的机理、 实验结果以及对今后研究的展望.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of ρxx is studied in the vicinity of the quantum Hall to quantum Hall insulator transition (ν=1→0) in InSb/InAlSb based 2DESs. ρxx displays a symmetric temperature dependence about the transition with on the QH side and on the insulating side. A plot of 1/T0 for successive ν displays power-law divergence with 1/T0∝|ν−νc|−γ,2 with γ=2.2±0.3. This critical behavior in addition to the behavior expected of the quantum transport regime confirms that the QH/QHI transition is indeed a good quantum phase transition.  相似文献

The decay of the T 1/2 = 420 ns isomer in 151Er has been reinvestigated. The multipolarities of the decaying transitions have been established by measuring the electron conversion coefficients. An I π = 67/2 assignment is proposed for this isomer with a π[h 112/4 d 32/1 d 52/−1]⊗ν[f 7/2 h 9/2 h 112/−1] configuration.  相似文献

This study evaluated high pressure processing (P1 – 400?MPa/5?min; P2 – 550?MPa/2?min) and thermal pasteurization (TP – 70°C/30?s) effects on sweet cherry juice's microbiological and physicochemical parameters, during four weeks of refrigerated storage. All treatments reduced the microbiological load to undetectable levels not affecting total soluble solids and titratable acidity. The pH increased with all treatments, however, it decreased during storage. Phenols were differently affected: TP increased them by 6%, P1 had no effect while P2 decreased them by 11%. During storage, phenols in control and TP samples decreased by 26% and 20%, P1 samples decreased them by 11% whereas P2 showed no variation. TP had no effect on anthocyanins, while pressure treatments increased them by 8%. Anthocyanins decreased during storage, particularly in the control and P1 (decreasing 41%). All treatments had no effect on antioxidant activity until the 14th day, thereafter high pressure processing samples showed the highest antioxidant activity.  相似文献

Using a light-beating technique we have measured the damping time of thermal fluctuations of the nematic director for the so called cylindrical or calamitic nematic (NC) phase of the lyotropic system K-laurate/decanol/. By varying the scattering angle in suitable geometries, we have been able to estimate the orientational diffusivities associated to the three pure deformations of splay, twist and bend. A former measurement made in the disk-like ND phase of the same system yielded a large deviation between the splay and twist diffusivities. The effect was then attributed to induced flows, or backflow, which could be responsible for the reduction of the splay viscosity. In fact, this is the analogous effect, for disks, to the one recognized since long time ago arriving for rod-like molecules in a classical nematic, though in this case it is associated with bend deformations. The analogy comes about thanks to the interchange of the role played by disks and cylinders for, respectively, splay and bend fluctuations.The measurements reported here provide a new test on the applicability of the backflow model to a nematic system composed of micelles, that is, aggregates made of amphiphilic (surfactant) molecules, in its cylindrical-like variant, i.e. the NC phase. In addition, the comparative study made here with the previous results existing in the literature for the ND phase, allows us to conjecture on structural issues concerning lyotropic nematics. We analyse the effects of atom–atom collisions on a collective laser cooling scheme. We derive a quantum master equation which describes the laser cooling in presence of atom–atom collisions in the weak-condensation regime. Using such equation, we perform Monte Carlo simulations of the population dynamics in one and three dimensions. We observe that the ground-state laser-induced condensation is maintained in the presence of collisions. Laser cooling causes a transition from a Bose–Einstein distribution describing collisionally induced equilibrium, to a distribution with an effective zero temperature. We analyse also the effects of atom–atom collisions on the cooling into an excited state of the trap.
