In our work we propose a novel method of analysis of photorefractive transport equations. The method based on a perturbative
approach can be used in the case of two wave mixing and four wave mixing geometry, i.e. for the samples illuminated by interference
patterns. Presented approach can be employed for a broad range of material and experimental parameters, particularly for arbitrary
depth of light modulation pattern. The approximate analytical solution is compared with results of numerical calculations
and a good agreement practically in every case was found.

Mean field approximation treats only coherent aspects of the evolution of a Bose-Einstein condensate. However, in many experiments some atoms scatter out of the condensate. We study a semianalytic model of two counterpropagating atomic Gaussian wave packets incorporating the dynamics of incoherent scattering processes. Within the model we can treat processes of the elastic collision of atoms into the initially empty modes, and observe how, with growing occupation, the bosonic enhancement is slowly kicking in. A condition for the bosonic enhancement effect is found in terms of relevant parameters. Scattered atoms form a squeezed state. Not only are we able to calculate the dynamics of mode occupation, but also the full statistics of scattered atoms. 相似文献

The effect of nonlinear gradient terms on the pulsating, erupting and creeping solitons, respectively, of the cubic–quintic complex Ginzburg–Landau equation is investigated. It is found that the nonlinear gradient terms result in dramatic changes in the soliton behavior. They eliminate the periodicity of the pulsating and erupting solitons and transform them into fixed-shape solitons. This is important for potential use, such as to realize experimentally the undistorted transmission of femtosecond pulses in optical fibers. However, the nonlinear gradient terms cause the creeping soliton to breathe periodically at different frequencies on one side and spread rapidly on the other side. We evaluate exactly both the nonrelativistic and relativistic fermion determinant in 2+1 dimensions in a constant background field at finite temperature. The effect of finite chemical potential is also considered. In both cases, the systems are decoupled into an infinite number of 1+1 fermions by Fourier transformation in the -variable. The investigation of microstructure and chemical composition of the and phases were performed in a Ni-base superalloy by means of analytical electron microscopy. The distribution of particular elements in the alloy was revealed using X-ray mapping in a transmission electron microscope. The detected concentration profiles of alloying elements at the / interface were relatively sharp in the case of cuboidal shape of the phase while they resembled the classical diffusion profile for the oval phase. The quantitative analysis of the phase revealed much higher content of Al and lower of Ti, W, Co and Mo in the oval precipitates compared to cuboidal ones. This result is attributed to the different solidification paths, which is eutectic for the cuboidal precipitates and peritectic for the oval precipitates. 相似文献

In this work, a dually sensitive colloidal crystal (CC)‐loaded hydrogel has been synthesized via frontal polymerization (FP) in a facile and rapid way. First, a polystyrene CC film was fabricated by vertical deposition on the inner wall of a test tube. Then, a mixture of acrylic acid (AAc), 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA), and glycerol along with the initiator and crosslinker was added to this test tube to carry out FP, resulting in the formation of CC‐loaded hydrogel. The influence of the mass ratios of HEMA/AAc on front velocity and temperatures were studied. The swelling behavior, the morphology, and the stimuli‐responsive behavior of the CC‐loaded hydrogels prepared via FP were thoroughly investigated on the basis of swelling measurement, scanning electron microscopy, and reflection spectra. Results show that the as‐prepared CC‐loaded hydrogels exhibit excellent dual sensitivity to both methanol concentrations and pH values with very short response time, which can be observed visually without the aid of instruments. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
