We report a simple Nd:YAG laser that emits radially polarized beam with helical wavefront. The laser cavity consists of a piece of laser crystal and a plane output coupler, and there is no additional polarization component inside it. The pump light is converted into annular profile through de-focal coupling into a multi-mode fiber. For the continuous-wave(CW) operation, the laser emits radially polarized vortex beam, and it is observed that the helical wavefront of the laser beam is switched from right handedness to left handedness when the output coupler is tilted slightly. For the Q-switched operation under the insertion of a Cr4t:YAG saturable absorber inside the cavity, we obtain radially polarized outputs with left-handedness helical wavefront. By tilting the laser crystal slightly, the laser output switches to azimuthal polarization at pump power larger than 4.5 W and left-handedness helical wavefront of laser beam is preserved.  相似文献

The dispersive characteristics of higher order mode Lamb waves (HOMLW) excited by interdigital transducers (IDT) are measured and analyzed, which are necessary for designing micro-sensor in ultrahigh frequency (UHF). A measurement system is set up, in which dispersive characteristics of HOMLW are obtained by the method of transform between frequency and time domains. The characteristics of amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency of Lamb wave are auto-measured by the system. By IFFT, the pulse response of the IDT device was obtained. Different modes were separated in time domain and dispersive curve of each mode is calculated by FFT. The best mode is chosen to design the micro-sensor in UHF. The phase velocity of HOMLW is greater than the surface wave (SAW) velocity and an oscillator in higher frequency can be made, so the absolute sensitivity of micro-sensor can be increased. In this paper, the dispersive characteristics of HOMLW excited by an IDT in a 127.86 degrees rotated Y-cut, X propagating lithium niobate plate is analyzed. An oscillator using a(13) mode is made, the phase velocity of which is measured about 19,652 m/s when h/lambda=0.94 (h=plate thickness, lambda=wavelength).  相似文献

介绍了利用硅探测器的脉冲形状甄别进行粒子鉴别的原理。详细叙述了基于数字化方法的脉冲形状甄别的实现。采样频率和位数是数字化方法的两个重要参数。对于硅探测器信号,采用100 MS/s,12 bit的Digitizer可以满足脉冲形状甄别法对时间分辨的要求。同时对该方法粒子鉴别的特征和能量阈值做了简要的分析和对比。粒子背面入射硅探测器的所得的阈值低于正面入射的情况。例如对于氖周围的同位素,背面入射情况的阈值约为100 MeV,为正面入射情况下鉴别阈值的二分之一,相当与ΔE-E方法中ΔE探测器厚度约为60 μm情况下的阈值。最后定性讨论了硅探测器的电阻率不均匀性和沟道效应对粒子鉴别性能的影响。In this paper Pulse Shape Discrimination(PSD) for silicon detector has been briefly introduced. The emerging digital method successfully applied to detector signal processing makes digital PSD method one of the most promising particle identification methods. Sampling frequency and the number of bits are two key parameters of digital method. For silicon detector signal, adopting 100 Ms/s, 12 bit Digitizer can satisfy the time resolution requirement of PSD method. The identification characteristic and energy threshold of this method have been discussed and compared with both front injection and rear injection cases. Energy threshold with rear injection usually is much lower than that with front injection. For example, around for Neon isotope energy threshold with rear injection is about 100 MeV which is only half of the threshold with front injection, also equivalent to thickness of about 60 μm silicon detector threshold in ΔE-E method. At the end the impact of silicon detector's resistivity nonuniformity and channel effect on the identification capacity of PSD method has been discussed in detail.  相似文献

Resolution in 1H NMR spectra of solids can be significantly enhanced with fast magic-angle spinning and high magnetic fields. A variable field and spinning speed study up to 25 T and 40 kHz shows that the homogeneous line broadening is inversely proportional to the product of magnetic field strength and spinning speed. The combination of high field and fast speed yields a 1H linewidth approaching the intrinsic limit determined by anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility. An analysis of the anisotropic magnetic susceptibility line broadening is presented.  相似文献

An on-line time differential perturbed angular correlation technique has been developed with the light probe nucleus 19F. The first on-line TDPAC measurement was carried out to determine the field gradient in Cd and quadrupole moment of 19F (0.197 MeV: I π = 5/2+, T1/2 = 89 ns). The three-photon absorption (3PA) properties of two thiophene-fluorene derivatives (abbreviated as MOTFTBr and {ATFTBr}) have been determined by using a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser pumped with 38ps pulses at 1064nm in DMF. The measured 3PA cross-sections are 152\times 10-78cm6s2 and 139\times 10-78cm6s2, respectively. The optimized structures were obtained by AM1 calculations and the results indicate that these two molecules show nonplanar structures, and attaching different donors has different effects on the molecular structure. The charge density distributions during the excitation were also systematically studied by using AM1 method. In addition, an obvious optical power limiting effect induced by 3PA has been demonstrated for both derivatives.  相似文献
