Previous investigations have indicated that the finite number of balls can cause the bearing stiffness to vary periodically. However, effects of unbalanced force in a rotor–bearing system on the bearing stiffness have not received sufficient attention. The present work reveals that the unbalanced force can also make the bearing stiffness vary periodically. The parametric excitations from the time-varying bearing stiffness can cause instability and severe vibration under certain operating conditions. Therefore, the determination of the operating conditions of parametric instability is crucial to the design of high speed rotating machinery. In this paper, an extended Jones–Harris stiffness model is presented to ascertain the stiffness of the angular contact ball bearing considering five degrees of freedom. Stability analysis of a rigid rotor–bearing system is performed utilizing the discrete state transition matrix (DSTM) method. The effects of unbalanced force, bearing loads and damping on the instability regions are discussed thoroughly. Investigations mainly show that the time-varying bearing stiffness fluctuates sinusoidally due to finite number of balls and unbalanced force. The locations and widths of the instability regions caused by these two parametric excitations differ distinctly. Unbalanced force could change the widths of the instability regions, but without altering their central positions. The axial and radial loads of the bearing only change the positions of the instability regions, without affecting their widths. Besides, damping can reduce the widths of the instability regions.  相似文献

The new technique of contact etching has been utilized to study the bulk morphology of polyethylene terephthalate by the echant, n-propylamine. A variety of films and fibers with different mechanical and thermal histories have been subjected to contact etching. The sample surfaces have been studied principally by scanning electron microscopy. A network superstructure with its characteristic dimension (thickness) of from 700 to 3000 Å, depending on sample history, has been observed. In the oriented samples the network superstructure aligns perpendicular to the direction of sample orientation. A simple model is proposed to describe the network superstructure which is believed to be moderately crystalline.  相似文献

A simple and effective preparation of enamines from bulky ketones and secondary amines has been achieved with the aid of Lewis acid on various solid supports. The optimized yields were higher than those obtained without the solid support. Factors affecting the yield and regioselectivity of these reactions were also studied. 有限质点法是以向量式力学为基础,用有限数量的质点来模拟结构的变形行为,质点的运动由牛顿运动定律来计算。在有限质点法中,质点通过构件相连,构件约束着质点的运动,并且其内力由质点的运动变量来描述。基于向量式力学的基本思想和非线性梁理论,提出了一种新的有限质点法,该方法在共旋单元坐标系中描述梁的非线性变形。以空间梁系结构为例,推导了计算构件内力的非线性公式,并考虑了弯扭耦合变形。通过两个连续欧拉角的变换公式得到共旋坐标系的旋转矩阵。与传统的有限质点法相比,本文提出的方法避免了刚体虚转动分析。通过四个结构的数值求解,验证了本文方法在计算结构大变形响应时具有较高的精度。  相似文献

采用金属有机分解法在p型Si衬底上制备了SrTiO3(STO)薄膜.研究了STO薄膜金属 绝缘体 半导体(MIS)结构的介电和界面特性.结果表明,STO薄膜显示出优异的介电性能,在10kHz处的介电常数约为105,损耗低于001,这来源于多晶结构和良好的结晶性;MIS结构中的固定电荷密度Nf和界面态密度Dit分别约为15×1012cm-2和(14—35)×1012cm-2eV-1,这主要与Si/STO界面处形成的低介电常数界面层有关. 关键词: SrTiO3薄膜 MIS结构 介电性能 Si/STO界面  相似文献

Inelastic behavior of thick-walled cylinders subjected to nonproportionate loading was studied by the testing of specimens made of C1045 steel and of annealed copper. Several theories were reviewed. A closed-form solution proposed by Mendelson12 was used to predict external strains for open-end and closed-end thick-walled cylinders. An incremental theory proposed by Chu13 was used to provide incremental solutions for open-end thick-walled cylinders, and for cylinders subjected to nonproportionate loading. Test data for open-end and closed-end thick-walled cylinders made of C1045 steel and of annealed copper were in excellent agreement with the incremental theory. Larger values were predicted by use of the closed-form solution for circumferential strains than actual test data for open-end thick-walled cylinders at large depth of yielding. For cylinders subjected to nonproportionate loading, excellent agreement was indicated between the incremental theory and the experiments for the plot of axial load vs. circumferential strain for specimens made of both metals. Agreement between the incremental theory prediction of axial strains for the specimens made of annealed copper and test data is quite satisfactory. Larger values were predicted by the incremental theory for axial strain than experimental data for specimens made of C1045 steel. The error was conservative.  相似文献
