We propose a low-loss metal/dielectric waveguide for compact planar lightwave circuit. The basic waveguide structure is a metal-defined high-index-contrast strip waveguide based on silicon/silica. As the guide is designed for TE single mode waveguiding, extremely low propagation loss (e.g. <0.04 dB/cm), very low bend loss (e.g. 0.0043 dB/90°-turn) and small waveguide pitch of zero-crosstalk are theoretically achievable, and can be further improved by compromising with component size and density. Examples of multi-bends and device integration are demonstrated with numerical simulations. The proposal is compatible with silicon technology and appealing for development of silicon-based planar lightwave circuit. 相似文献

Flower-like and leaf-like cupric oxide (CuO) single-crystal nanostructures have been successfully synthesized using ionic liquid 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate ([Omim]TA) under the microwave-assisted approach. By controlling the concentration of [Omim]TA and reaction temperature, shape transformation of CuO nanostructures could be achieved in a short period of time. The results indicate that ionic liquid [Omim]TA plays an important role in the formation of different morphologies of CuO crystals. The crystal structure and morphology of products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), infrared spectrum (IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and selected-area electron diffraction (SAED). A possible mechanism for CuO nanostructure was proposed. In addition, UV-vis spectroscopy was employed to estimate the band gap energies of CuO crystals. 相似文献

Fibrinogen adsorption onto mechanically polished biomedical grade 316L stainless steel (316LSS), nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol) and commercially pure titanium (CpTi) surfaces were studied by measurements of adsorption isotherms and adsorption kinetics using an ex-situ wavelength dispersive spectroscopy technique (WDS). Surface composition, roughness and wettability of these materials were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and water contact angle (WCA) measurements. Adsorption isotherm results showed that surface protein concentration on these materials increased with increasing concentration of fibrinogen in phosphate buffer solution. The fibrinogen adsorption isotherms were modeled by both the monolayer Langmuir isotherm and the multilayer Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) isotherm. The results strongly suggest that fibrinogen forms multilayer structures on these materials when the concentration in solution is high. Complementary measurements on the absorbed fibrinogen films by spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) support this view. 相似文献

研究了Y,Ce对含铪(Hf)镍基铸造高温合金K444返回料(添加50%返回料)合金的力学性能和组织的影响.研究结果表明:适量Y,Ce(Y<0.03%,Ce<0.015%(质量分数))添加到返回料合金后,一方面,Y,Ce具有去除N,O等有害杂质的作用,使O含量由15×10~(-6)降低到8×10~(-6),N含量由35×10~(-6)降低到18×10~(-6),从而使返回料合金得到净化.另一方面,Y,Ce细化了枝晶组织,减少了共晶和大块状碳化物数量,并且强化了晶界.和未加Y,Ce的返回料合金相比.添加Y,Ce使返回料合金室温拉伸强度提高约100 MPa,塑性提高近一倍;使900℃的高温瞬时拉伸性能波动较为平稳,塑性提高近一倍.添加Y,Ce还可以提高返回合金900℃/274 MPa条件下的持久性能,达到新料水平;可以明显延长K444返回合金900℃/274 MPa条件下的蠕变第二阶段,提高蠕变寿命. 相似文献

为研究金属元素在鸡血藤中的含量与药用功能采用标准曲线法,用空气-乙炔火焰原子吸收光谱法测定了鸡血藤中多种微量元素的含量。结果表明,方法的加标回收率在97.50%~99.60%范围内,RSD(n=6)在0.36%~0.57%之间。测定方法简单易行,方便快捷。 相似文献

Crystalline calcium carbonate with randomly dispersed porous structure was prepared through co‐ crystallization with calcium peroxide and the following template elimination by a post heating treatment and washing with water. This paper presents converse Lyapunov theorems for exponential stability of nonautonomous discrete-time systems with disturbances
and free of disturbances, respectively. It is shown that Lyapunov functions exist for discrete-time systems if the systems

This research investigated the effects of control release of binders that are used in the pills of Chinese herbal medicine, namely, as processed honey, starch paste, beeswax, or mixtures thereof. Aspirin and baicalin were used as the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The processed honey was heated to 110 degrees C, 120 degrees C, or 130 degrees C. In these pills, the binders were the only excipients. The pills were prepared by the stir method using a mixer at 80 degrees C without pressure. The differential thermal analysis (DTA) showed that the melting points of aspirin and baicalin were changed by the binders. The Fourier Transform infrared spectra (FT-IR) of aspirin and baicalin suggest that there are different non-covalent molecular interactions between the API and the binders, such as C-H-pi and hydrogen bond interaction. The dissolution profiles indicate that changing the ratio of the binders altered the patterns of dissolution of the API; thus, this ration may be used to control the release of API from the pills. 相似文献
