Synthesis of poly(ethylene oxide) with pending 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl groups and its further initiation of the grafting polymerization of styrene

A new stratagem for the synthesis of amphiphilic graft copolymers of hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) as the main chain and hydrophobic polystyrene as the side chains is suggested. A poly(ethylene oxide) with pending 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyls [poly(4‐glycidyloxy‐2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl‐co‐ethylene oxide)] was first prepared by the anionic ring‐opening copolymerization of ethylene oxide and 4‐glycidyloxy‐2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl, and then the graft copolymerization of styrene was completed with benzoyl peroxide as the initiator in the presence of poly(4‐glycidyloxy‐2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl‐co‐ethylene oxide). The polymerization of styrene was under control, and comblike, amphiphilic poly(ethylene oxide)‐g‐polystyrene was obtained. The copolymer and its intermediates were characterized with size exclusion chromatography, ¹H NMR, and electron spin resonance in detail. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Effects of microstructure on the temperature dependence of relative initial permeability of NiCuZn ferrites

In the present work, ferrites with compositions of (Ni_0.27Zn_0.64Cu_x)Fe_1.98O₄ (x=0.1, 0.2) were prepared by conventional ceramic methods. The relationship between the microstructure and the temperature dependence of relative initial permeability was investigated. It was found that intergranular pores in the ferrites generate large demagnetizing fields, reducing the temperature dependence of the effective anisotropy field H_eff, and decreasing the temperature dependence of the relative initial permeability accordingly. However, intragranular pores pin the movement of domain walls. Compared with the permeability induced by domain wall motion, the permeability that resulted from the spin rotation is more sensitive to temperature. As a result, the relative initial permeability of ferrites becomes more sensitive to temperature with increasing micropores within grains.     

模糊神经网络在复合地基沉降量预测中的应用

复合地基后期沉降变形对于建筑物设计及安全具有重要意义,针对通过长期沉降观测以得到复合地基的最终沉降需要耗费较多资源的问题,提出了一种基于模糊神经网络的预测方法.该方法考虑沉降变化过程有较大的随机性和模糊性,直接将样本数据进行模糊化,所得的模糊数代表了样本点集与控制点集中各分量之间的相关度,并依此建立模糊BP神经网络进行学习和估算.实验结果表明了该方法对沉降进行预测是可行与有效的,且在相对误差的有效控制方面优于BP网络方法与灰色方法.     

Robust stabilization of internally delayed uncertain systems via sliding mode control

Summary The problem of robust stabilization of internally delayed uncertain systems via sliding mode controllers (SMC's) is studied in this paper. The robustness property and assymptotic stability of the system are discussed. Some sufficient conditions for the design of SMC and the switching hyperplane are given. Further generalization results, which lead to a simple design and implementation, are made for the system being described in companion form. A method is suggested for the elimination of limit cycles in systems being regulated by a relay SMC while allowing the generation of sliding motion and thus ensuring the closed-loop asymptotic stability.     

Asymmetric synthesis XXVII: Asymmetric catalytic trimethylsilylcyanation of aldehydes by novel Ti-chiral Schiff base complexes

Enantioselective catalytic trimethylsilylcyanations of aldehydes with 48% to 92% e.e. have been studied using the novel Ti-chiral Schiff base complexes. We have found that the catalyst led to high enantoselectivity when the molar ratio of the Schiff base 1 to Ti(O-i-Pr)₄ was 2:1.     

聚砜-尼龙6嵌段共聚物结构的研究

<正> 以金属钠作催化剂合成的聚砜-尼龙6嵌段共聚物对尼龙6的吸水性有一定的改善,而且可以作为聚砜与尼龙共混物的相容剂,但共聚物中聚砜组分的含量都不超过25％。这可能与共聚物的结构有关。近年来的工作表明:反相气相色谱法(IGC)是高聚物结构分析的有用的工具之一。我们试图用反相气相色谱法,通过观察嵌段共聚物

介绍了用会聚偏振光测定双轴热拉伸定向有机玻璃板双折射值的原理和实验方法,并提出了对Kramer计算公式的简化和改进。测定了双折射值与拉伸度、拉伸温度的关系并分析了干涉图。
