This paper provided an easy and flexible method to synthesize high molecular weight polyesters by polycondensation and chain extension. Low molecular weight polybutylene adipate, polybutylene succinate, and poly(butylene succinate‐co‐butylene adipate) (PBSA) were synthesized through melt condensation polymerization from adipic acid and/or succinic acid with butanediol. The prepolyesters obtained had different amount of ? COOH and ? OH terminal groups. Chain extension of them was carried out at 180–240°C using 2,2′‐(1,4‐phenylene)‐bis(2‐oxazoline) and adipoyl biscaprolactamate as combined chain extenders. The influencing factors of the chain extension were studied. At the optimal conditions, chain‐extended polybutylene adipate with Mn up to 39,100, polybutylene succinate with intrinsic viscosity of 0.99 dl/g, and PBSA with intrinsic viscosity from 0.73 to 0.81 dl/g were synthesized. The chain‐extended polyesters were characterized by IR spectrum, 1H NMR spectrum, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), wide angle X‐ray scattering, and tensile test. The thermal analysis showed that chain extension often led to slight decrease of the regularity, the crystallinity, and the melting point. This deterioration of the properties is not harmful enough to impair their thermal properties and obstruct them from being used as biodegradable thermoplastics. The TGA showed that the chain‐extended polyesters were stable with initial decomposition temperature over 354.7°C. The tensile strength of the chain extended PBS and PBSAs with butylene adipate units less than 20 mol% was in the range of 18.95–31.22 MPa. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

A method was developed to determine 20 illegal residual beta-agonists in pork tissues, including muscle and liver simultaneously. The samples were hydrolyzed by beta-glucuronidase, purified by PCX SPE cartridges, and detected by HPLC coupled with electrospray ionization MS/MS operating in the positive ion mode. Matrix-fortified calibration was performed to compensate for the matrix effect and loss in sample preparation. Decision limit ranged from 0.05 to 0.23 microg/kg in muscle and 0.05 to 0.57 microg/kg in liver. Decision capacity ranged from 0.11 to 0.4 microg/kg in muscle and 0.16 to 0.79 microg/kg in liver. In Food Analysis Performance Assessment Scheme proficiency test 0287, a pig liver test material containing 13 beta-agonists was analyzed using the method developed, and clenbuterol and ractopamine were confirmed as being present. BiSbO(4) nanoplates with a large BET specific area has been prepared successfully via a facile hydrothermal reaction from Sb(2)O(3) and Bi(NO(3))(3). The effects of reaction conditions and the precursors on the final products were investigated. It is proposed that the redox reaction between Sb(2)O(3) and Bi(NO(3))(3) plays a pivotal role in the formation of nanocrystalline BiSbO(4). The hydrothermally prepared nanocrystalline BiSbO(4) was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N(2)-sorption BET surface area, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The DRS result clarifies that BiSbO(4), originally believed to be a visible light responsive photocatalyst, is indeed UV light responsive with a band gap of 3.5 eV. The existence of Bi containing an impurity may be responsible for the visible light response of BiSbO(4) prepared via a conventional solid state reaction. BiSbO(4) nanoplates prepared via the hydrothermal method showed superior photocatalytic performance for the degradation of benzene and 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) as compared to BiSbO(4) prepared via a solid state reaction and Degussa P25. BiSbO(4(Hy)) nanoplates can be a promising photocatalyst in the treatment of environmental pollution. 相似文献

2-Difluoromethylene-4-methylenepentanoic acid (DFMPA), a seemingly deviated analog of 2-oxoglutaric acid (2-OG), could surprisingly mimic its signaling function in cyanobacteria. Computer modeling revealed the favorable binding of DFMPA toward the 2-OG receptor, NtcA, via mutual conformational changes, suggesting that structural alteration of 2-OG is tolerated for it to exercise its signaling role. We present a decomposition-approximation method for generating convex relaxations for nonconvex quadratically constrained
quadratic programming (QCQP). We first develop a general conic program relaxation for QCQP based on a matrix decomposition
scheme and polyhedral (piecewise linear) underestimation. By employing suitable matrix cones, we then show that the convex
conic relaxation can be reduced to a semidefinite programming (SDP) problem. In particular, we investigate polyhedral underestimations
for several classes of matrix cones, including the cones of rank-1 and rank-2 matrices, the cone generated by the coefficient
matrices, the cone of positive semidefinite matrices and the cones induced by rank-2 semidefinite inequalities. We demonstrate
that in general the new SDP relaxations can generate lower bounds at least as tight as the best known SDP relaxations for
QCQP. Moreover, we give examples for which tighter lower bounds can be generated by the new SDP relaxations. We also report
comparison results of different convex relaxation schemes for nonconvex QCQP with convex quadratic/linear constraints, nonconvex

Nanodisk heterostructures consisting of monoclinic Cu(1.94)S and wurtzite CdS have been colloidally synthesized for the first time. Initially, hexagonal-shaped nanodisks of Cu(1.94)S were produced upon thermolysis of a copper complex in a solvent mixture of HDA and TOA at 250 °C. Rapid addition of Cd precursor to the reaction mixture resulted in the partial conversion of Cu(1.94)S into CdS, yielding Cu(1.94)S-CdS nanoheterostructures. The original morphology of the Cu(1.94)S nanodisks was conserved during the transformation. When Zn precursor was added together with the Cd precursor, Cu(1.94)S-Zn(x)Cd(1-x)S nanodisks were generated. These two-component nanostructures are potentially useful in the fabrication of heterojunction solar cells. 相似文献
