This work describes a comprehensive achiral × chiral two-dimensional liquid chromatography separation for enantioselective amino acid analysis coupled to electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry detection using data-independent acquisition. Flow splitting after the first and second dimension separation was utilized for volumetric flow reduction and for enabling a multi-detector approach (with ultraviolet, fluorescence, charged aerosol, and MS detection), respectively. Derivatization with 6-aminoquinolyl-N-hydroxysuccinimidyl carbamate provided a chromophore, a fluorophore, and an efficient mass tag for efficient ionization in positive electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry. Chiral columns often have limitations in terms of their chemoselectivity, which may be a problem when complex sample mixtures with structurally related compounds need to be separated. It can be alleviated by a reversed-phase×chiral two-dimensional-liquid chromatography setup, in which the first dimension provides the chemoselectivity and a chiral tandem column constituted of quinine-carbamate derived weak anion-exchanger and zwitterionic ion-exchanger in the second dimension separation of D- and L-amino acid enantiomers. The method was used to control the stereointegrity of the therapeutic peptide octreotide. After hydrolysis, all amino acid constituents were detected with the correct configuration and composition. Some options for flow splitting and integration of destructive detectors in the first dimension separation are outlined.  相似文献

Kinetic equations describing homogeneous nucleation kinetics within standard model are solved numerically under the condition of a constant number of molecules in the considered system. It has consequences to decrease the supersaturation of the supersaturated vapor during the process of the formation of small droplets of a new phase. The decrease of supersaturation occurs in a short time and reaches some value which remains unchanged for a relatively long time (quasistationary regime), especially at lower initial supersaturations. This time interval decreases with increasing value of the initial supersaturation. In the quasistationary regime the nucleation rate reaches its stationary value. At higher initial supersaturation, the rate of formation of nuclei goes to some maximum value corresponding to the stationary nucleation rate and then decreases with time due to the decrease of supersaturation.  相似文献

Hydrogenated graphenes exhibit a variety of properties with potential applications in devices, ranging from a tunable band gap to fluorescence, ferromagnetism, and the storage of hydrogen. We utilize a one‐step microwave‐irradiation process in hydrogen plasma to create highly hydrogenated graphene from graphite oxides. The procedure serves the dual purposes of deoxygenation and concurrent hydrogenation of the carbon backbone. The effectiveness of the hydrogenation process is investigated on three different graphite oxides (GOs), which are synthesized by using the Staudenmaier, Hofmann, and Hummers methods. A systematic characterization of our hydrogenated graphenes is performed using UV/Vis spectroscopy, SEM, AFM, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), combustible elemental analysis, and electrical conductivity measurements. The highest hydrogenation extent is observed in hydrogenated graphene produced from the Hummers‐method GO, with a hydrogen content of 19 atomic % in the final product. In terms of the removal of oxygen groups, microwave exfoliation yields graphenes with very similar oxygen contents despite differences in their parent GOs. In addition, we examine the prospective application of hydrogenated graphenes as electrochemical transducers through a cyclic voltammetry (CV) study. The highly hydrogenated graphenes exhibit fast heterogeneous electron‐transfer rates, suggestive of their suitability for electrochemical applications in electrodes, supercapacitors, batteries, and sensors.  相似文献

The stereoselectivity of the reaction of furan (1) with maleic anhydride (2) and maleimide (3) was studied experimentally and theoretically. Although the two reactions are highly similar with regard to their preference for endo and exo steroisomers, notable differences were experimentally observed and explained on the basis of calculated reaction-free energies and transition-state barriers. The experimental values of rate constants (k(1+2endo) = (1.75 +/- 0.48) x 10(-5); mol(-1) l s(-1); k(1+2exo) = (3.10 +/- 0.55) x 10(-5); mol(-1) l s(-1); k(1+3endo) = (1.93 +/- 0.082) x 10(-5); mol(-1) l s(-1), k(1+3exo) = (1.38 +/- 0.055) x 10(-5); mol(-1) l s(-1) all at 300 K) and the observed reaction course clearly confirm that neither of these reactions are prototypical examples of Diels-Alder [4 + 2] cycloadditions, whose dominant preference is for endo isomers. However, only by comparing their energetics-calculated at the CCSD(T) level of theory-with the analogous reactions involving cyclopentadiene (8) as a diene can these observations be understood. The low thermodynamic stability of furan [4 + 2] adducts opens retro-Diels-Alder reaction channels and overrules the very small kinetic preference (calculated and measured here) of initial formation for endo stereoisomers. On a macroscopic scale "an irregular"-thermodynamically more stable-exo stereoisomer was consequently observed as a dominant species.  相似文献

Micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MEKC) has been developed as a promising method for the determination of lignans in plant samples. The separation conditions have been optimized with respect to the different parameters including sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and acetonitrile concentration, pH of the background electrolyte, separation voltage, and capillary temperature. The background electrolyte consisting of 40 mM SDS and 35% acetonitrile in 10 mM tetraborate buffer (pH 9.3) was found to be the most suitable electrolyte for this analysis. The applied voltage of 28 kV (positive polarity) and the capillary temperature 25 degrees C gave the best separation of lignans. The interday reproducibility of the peak areas and the migration times was below 2.0%. The results of MEKC analyses were compared with those obtained by capillary electrochromatography (CEC) and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The possibilities of using this method for the determination of lignans in drug and in serum samples were also tested.  相似文献

Nowadays sparse systems of equations occur frequently in science and engineering. In this contribution we deal with sparse systems common in cryptanalysis. Given a cipher system, one converts it into a system of sparse equations, and then the system is solved to retrieve either a key or a plaintext. Raddum and Semaev proposed new methods for solving such sparse systems common in modern ciphers which are combinations of linear layers and small S-boxes. It turns out that the solution of a combinatorial MaxMinMax problem provides an upper bound on the average computational complexity of those methods. In this paper we initiate the study of a linear algebra variation of the MaxMinMax problem. The complexity bound proved in this paper significantly overcomes conjectured complexity bounds for Gröbner basis type algorithms.  相似文献

Non-dissociative, single-electron charge transfer processes between the dication CF 2 ++ and Ar and Ne were investigated in crossed beam scattering experiments at collision energies of 3.0 and 4.55eV (c.m.). The reaction with Ar produces CF 2 + in its ground state and, to a smaller extent, in the excited CF 2 + (2u) state. The reaction with Ne occurs only with an excited state of CF 2 ++ lying about 4.4 eV above the ground state and present in a small amount in the reactant dication beam; its molecular product is CF 2 + in the ground state.  相似文献

Several (metallo)porphyrins, particularly the porphyrin derivative tetraphenylporphyrin, and complexes of porphyrin derivatives with metal ions (Zn2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Co3+) have been employed as the stationary phase physically adsorbed onto the inner fused-silica capillary surface for open-tubular capillary electrochromatography, and applied for the separation of structurally related peptides. Four octapeptides, derivatives of the B23-B30 fragment of the B-chain of human insulin with minor changes in their sequences (presence of lysine or ornithine in position B-29, presence or absence of phenylacetyl protecting group on the amino group of lysine/ornithine or N-terminal amino group of glycine), were studied as model analytes. Separations were performed both in alkaline (pH 9.0) and in acidic (pH 2.25) background electrolytes, and the changes in the migration/retention behaviour of the model set of peptides were investigated with respect to the porphyrin periphery/central metal atom and the charge of the octapeptides modified. The key moment of successful separation of these peptides seems to be the accessibility of functional groups of the peptides to the interaction with the modifiers tested herein.  相似文献
