In this study, the change of the cooling rate in the range of about 0.1–1 °C s?1 and the addition of Sr on the crystallization kinetics of the cast zinc alloys of the ZnAlCu type, as well as its relation to the microstructure were also investigated. Therefore, the aim of the rapid crystallisation is the achievement of materials with better properties, which can be obtained by refinement of the dendritic or eutectic microstructure, elimination of segregation, or creation of metastable phases and their morphology changes. In the investigated alloys, the change of cooling rate of 1 °C s?1 has caused microstructure’s refinement as well as increase in hardness. Increase in the cooling rate causes also morphology changes of the η + α eutectic, and makes generally a global overcooling of the alloy as well as change in the temperatures at the beginning of crystallization T DN and of the alloy crystallization T S. The presented investigations concerning the electron microscopy methods, including transmission electron microscopy, allow revealing the crystallographic structure, based on the d-spacing changes, as well as the diffraction method used for phase determination, which is a helpful tool for the explanation of the important points in the thermo-derivative analysis curve, where the relation between the amount of phase and the occurrence of new phases can be determined.  相似文献

We present new tags based on the derivatives of phenylboronic acid and apply them for the selective detection of sugars and peptide-sugar conjugates in mass spectrometry. We investigated the binding of phenylboronic acid and its quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) derivatives to carbohydrates and peptide-derived Amadori products by HR-MS and MS/MS experiments. The formation of complexes between sugar or sugar-peptide conjugates and synthetic tags was confirmed on the basis of the unique isotopic distribution resulting from the presence of boron atom. Moreover, incorporation of a quaternary ammonium salt dramatically improved the efficiency of ionization in mass spectrometry. It was found that the formation of a complex with phenylboronic acid stabilizes the sugar moiety in glycated peptides, resulting in simplification of the fragmentation pattern of peptide-derived Amadori products. The obtained results suggest that derivatization of phenylboronic acid as QAS is a promising method for sensitive ESI-MS detection of carbohydrates and their conjugates formed by non-enzymatic glycation or glycosylation.

Enterococcus faecalis is one of most important nosocomial and often multi‐antibiotic resistant pathogens responsible for infections that are difficult to treat. Previously, a cell‐wall polysaccharide termed diheteroglycan (DHG) was isolated and characterized as a promising vaccine candidate. However, the configuration of its lactic acid (LA) residue attached to the galactofuranoside unit was not assessed, although it influences conformation of DHG chain in terms of biological recognition and immune evasion. This study proves the R configuration of the LA residue by means of chemical analysis, investigation of intramolecular NMR nuclear Overhauser effects and molecular dynamics simulations of native DHG and corresponding R and S models, which were obtained by using pyranoside‐into‐furanoside rearrangement. As alternative treatment and prevention strategies for E. faecalis are desperately needed, this discovery may offer the prospect of a synthetic vaccine to actively immunize patients at risk.  相似文献

A general approach to the synthesis of nucleoside conjugates containing carborane and metallocarborane complexes, based on Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition ("chemical ligation"), is described. Boron-cluster-donors bearing terminal azide or ethynyl groups were prepared in the ring-opening reaction of dioxane-boron-cluster adducts and an azide anion or suitable alkynol-derived alcoholate nucleophile. Analogous derivatives bearing terminal sulfhydryl groups were also prepared. Nucleosides with various spacers containing terminal azide or ethynyl groups, located within nucleobases or sugar residues, were used as boron-cluster acceptors. The proposed methodology provides a convenient way to synthesize libraries of boron-cluster-modified nucleosides for various applications.  相似文献

Comparison of the structures of strychninium N‐phthaloyl‐β‐alaninate N‐phthaloyl‐β‐alanine, C21H23N2O2+·C11H8NO4·C11H9NO4, and brucinium N‐phthaloyl‐β‐alaninate 5.67‐hydrate, C23H27N2O4+·C11H8NO4·5.67H2O, reveals that, unlike strychninium cations, brucinium cations display a tendency to produce stacking inter­actions with cocrystallizing guests.  相似文献

Summary The preparation of the pyridazinones10a,10b,11a,11b, and12a,12b from the ketoamides7,8, and9 and hydrazine hydrate is described. It was found that from ketoamides8b and9b in addition to the expected pyridopyridazinones11b and12b also aminopyridopyridazines14 and15 were formed and that ketoamide7b gave exclusively aminopyridopyridazine13. The pyridopyridazinones10b,11b, and12b were alkylated with alkyl iodides.

Zusammenfassung Die Darstellung der Pyridazinone10a,10b,11a,11b und12a,12b aus Ketoamiden7,8 und9 und Hydrazinhydrat wird beschrieben. Es wurde festgestellt, daß aus Ketoamiden8b und9b außer den erwarteten Pyridopyridazinonen11b und12b auch Aminopyridopyridazine14 und15 enstanden und daß das Ketoamid7b ausschließlich ins Aminopyridopyridazin13 überführt wurde. Die Pyridopyridazinone10b,11b und12b wurden mit Alkyljodiden alkyliert.

A combination of pyrolysis and gas chromatography were used to investigate thermal degradation products formed from acrylic copolymers containing alkyl acrylate and methacrylate. The method provided an analytical tool for characterizing the chemical composition and structure of the degradation products. Thermal degradation of the synthesized copolymers was analyzed using isothermal (250 °C) pyrolysis–gas chromatography. The degradation process, and the nature and amount of pyrolysis products, provides relevant information about the thermal degradation of acrylic copolymers and the mechanism of pyrolysis. During pyrolysis, the formation of corresponding olefins, alcohols, acrylates and methacrylate was observed.  相似文献
