We study the long-time evolution of deep-water ocean surface waves in order to better understand the behavior of the nonlinear interaction processes that need to be accurately predicted in numerical models of wind-generated ocean surface waves. Of particular interest are those nonlinear interactions which are predicted by weak turbulence theory to result in a wave energy spectrum of the form of [k](-2.5). Switching kinetics of uniaxial ferroelastic ferroelectrics (FFs) in external electric and stress fields is studied using classical theory of nucleation and growth. The stage in which the polarization and deformation reversal involves the main body of the FF and the final stage (Ostwald ripening) of the FF switching are studied with allowance for the change in the repolarization and redeformation during the phase transition. The time dependences of the repolarization and redeformation are found, and equations are derived from which the polarization current and the deformation flux, as well as their time dependence, can be calculated. The calculated main characteristics of the FF switching are compared with the experimental data for switching of Rochelle salt single crystals. 相似文献

The system of linearized Einstein and Maxwell equations and a kinetic equation with model collision integral for the cosmological plasma are used to calculate the magnetic field generated by solenoidal perturbations in the radiation-dominated stage of expansion of the universe. The magnetic field is generated by two effects — the Harrison effect and a new effect due to kinetic processes. Tilted fiber Bragg gratings with different tilt angles have been inscribed in single-mode isotropic optical fiber with an increased photorefractivity using Talbot interferometer and KrF-excimer laser system. Their spectra are studied. Using a confocal laser scanning luminescent microscope the images of gratings in transmitted light were obtained. The calculated dependence of the slope angle of the grating recorded in the Talbot interferometer on the angle between the strokes of the interference pattern created in the interferometer and the transverse section of the optical fiber is experimentally verified. 相似文献

The thermolysis of 2,4,6-triazido-1,3,5-triazine (I), 2,4,6-triazidopyrimidine (II), and 2,4,6-triazidopyridine (III) and its products were studied by DSC, mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy, and electron microscopy. The thermal transformations of I gave planar nets formed by polyconjugated C–N bonds arranged into bundle aggregates. The thermolysis product of III consists of low-molecular compounds and has globular morphology. The thermolysis of II resulted in a mixture of products of both types, among which the planar nets were dominant. The relationship between the structure of the products of the thermal transformations of I, II, and III and the kinetic characteristics of these processes was discussed. 相似文献

Progress from global gyrokinetic simulations in understanding the origin of intrinsic rotation in toroidal plasmas is reported. The turbulence-driven intrinsic torque associated with nonlinear residual stress generation due to zonal flow shear induced asymmetry in the parallel wave number spectrum is shown to scale close to linearly with plasma gradients and the inverse of the plasma current, qualitatively reproducing experimental empirical scalings of intrinsic rotation. The origin of current scaling is found to be enhanced k(∥) symmetry breaking induced by the increased radial variation of the safety factor as the current decreases. The intrinsic torque is proportional to the pressure gradient because both turbulence intensity and zonal flow shear, which are two key ingredients for driving residual stress, increase with turbulence drive, which is R/L(T(e)) and R/L(n(e)) for the trapped electron mode. 相似文献
