In this work, the molecularly imprinted polymer was used as a selective sorbent in solid‐phase extraction method for the spectrophotometric determination of nortriptyline at 239 nm. Molecularly imprinted polymer was synthesized by pyrrole as a functional monomer in the presence of nortriptyline as a template. Several factors, consist of the concentration of the monomer to template ratio, amount of initiator, stirring rate, reaction time, the pH of the buffer solution, amount of sorbent, loading time, shaking rate of loading, extraction time, and shaking rate of extraction were evaluated due to their effectiveness in the preparation and extraction capability of molecularly imprinted polymer. Multivariate optimization methods, such as Plackett‐Burman and central composite designs, were employed to find and optimize the significant factors. Under the selected optimal conditions, molecularly imprinted polymer showed a linear range from 0.1 to 100 µmol/L (0.026 to 26 µg/mL) nortriptyline, a detection limit of 10.3 nmol/L (2.7 ng/mL), a highly repeatable (relative standard deviation of 3.7%) and reproducible response (relative standard deviation of 4.6%), and a good selectivity in the presence of structurally related molecules. Furthermore, molecularly imprinted polymer showed high extraction efficiency and was successfully used for the determination of nortriptyline in real samples.  相似文献

The tricyclic isatin, 5,6‐dihydro‐4H‐pyrrolo[3,2,1‐ij]quinoline‐1,2‐dione, undergoes three‐component, one‐pot reactions with 1‐aryl‐3‐methylpyrazole‐5‐amines and cyclohexane‐1,3‐diones producing hexacyclic spiro products, hexahydrospiro[pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline‐4,1‐pyrrolo[3,2,1‐ij]quinoline‐2′,5(1H,4′H)‐diones]. The essential oil obtained from the flowering parts of Anthemis altissima L. var. altissima was analysed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography mass spectroscopy. In this study, 34 compounds representing 98.76% of the essential oil were identified. The main components were α-terpineol (26.42%), β-pinene (9.23%), cis-chrysanthenyl acetate (6.30%), globulol (5.36%), n-tricosane (4.41%), terpinen-4-ol (4.08%) and 1,8 cineole (3.84%). Antibacterial activities of the essential oil and its two major components (α-terpineol and β-pinene) were determined using microdilution method against both Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus epidermidis) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae) bacteria. The essential oil showed a broad-spectrum antibacterial activity (MICs ranged from 3.13 to 6.25?μL?mL(-1)). It was found that α-terpineol with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of the range 0.87-1.56?μL?mL(-1) was a more potent antibacterial agent than β-pinene with MIC values of the range 1.56-6.25?μL?mL(-1). All of them, the essential oil, β-pinene and α-terpineol, were more effective against Gram-positive bacteria than Gram-negative ones.  相似文献

Sialidases or neuraminidases catalyze the hydrolysis of terminal sialic acid residues from sialyl oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates. Despite successes in developing potent inhibitors specifically against influenza virus neuraminidases, the progress in designing and synthesizing selective inhibitors against bacterial and human sialidases has been slow. Guided by sialidase substrate specificity studies and sialidase crystal structural analysis, a number of 2-deoxy-2,3-dehydro-N-acetylneuraminic acid (DANA or Neu5Ac2en) analogues with modifications at C9 or at both C5 and C9 were synthesized. Inhibition studies of various bacterial sialidases and human cytosolic sialidase NEU2 revealed that Neu5Gc9N(3)2en and Neu5AcN(3)9N(3)2en are selective inhibitors against V. cholerae sialidase and human NEU2, respectively.  相似文献

Biodegradable polycaprolactone was prepared by ring-opening polymerization in presence of ionic liquids as efficient, inexpensive, nontoxic, and easily handled acid catalysts. The resulting polymer exhibited good yield and inherent viscosity between 0.10 and 0.18 dL/g. The chemical structure of obtained polymer was verified by the 1H-NMR and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) spectra. In continuation, the obtained polymer was applied to improve quality level and mechanical properties and also to reduce the hydrophilic properties of the starch, so the ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone was investigated in the presence of starch hydroxyl groups as initiator and ionic liquid as catalyst. The obtained starch-grafted-polycaprolactone was verified by 1H-NMR, FT-IR spectra, and field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the potential antitumor metal compound, viz. chloro, mono(phenanthrenequinone thiosemicarbazonato) palladium(II) dimethyl formamide solvate, is reported. The central palladium(II) atom is in a square planar environment provided by the tridentate, monoanionic thiosemicarbazone ligand and the ancillary chloride ion. The compound exhibited remarkable activity against drug-sensitive and drug-resistant breast cancer cell lines and was relatively nontoxic toward the normal mammary epithelial cells. The drug-induced killing effect against breast cancer cell lines was predominantly mediated via apoptosis, a physiologic form of cell death.  相似文献

We describe a novel magnetic metal-organic framework (MOF) for the preconcentration of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions. The MOF was prepared from the Fe3O4-pyridine conjugate and the copper(II) complex of trimesic acid. The MOF was characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, SEM and XRD. A Box-Behnken design through response surface methodology and experimental design was used to identify the optimal parameters for preconcentration. Extraction time, amount of magnetic MOF and pH value were found to be critical factors for uptake, while type, volume, concentration of eluent, and elution time are critical in the elution step. The ions were then determined by FAAS. The limits of detection are 0.2 and 1.1 μg?L?1 for Cd(II), and Pb(II) ions, respectively, relative standard deviations are <4.5% (for five replicates at 50 μg?L?1 of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions), and the enrichment capacity of the MOF is at around 190 mg?g?1 for both ions which is higher than the conventional Fe3O4-pyridine material. The magnetic MOF was successfully applied to the rapid extraction of trace quantities of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions in fish, sediment, and water samples.

Abstract

Minimum-energy and transition-state geometries of 4-oxobuta-1,3-diene-1-thione, buta-1,3-diene-1,4-dithione, 4-selenoxobuta-1,3-diene-1-thione, 4-selenoxobuta-1,3-diene-1-one, and buta-1,3-diene-1,4-diselenone were calculated using HF, B3LYP, and MP2 levels of theory and 6–31 + G* basis set by rotation around the related ?C?C? single bonds. In all of the above-mentioned molecules, the s-trans conformation was obtained as the most stable conformer with the 180° dihedral angle. In buta-1,3-diene-1,4-dithione, 4-selenoxobuta-1,3-diene-1-thione, and buta-1,3-diene-1,4-diselenone, the s-cis form of these compounds corresponded to the other energy-minimum geometry. Their skew geometries, with torsional angles approximately 100°, were a transition state for conformational interconversion between the two global minima forms. In 4-oxobuta-1,3-diene-1-thione and 4-selenoxobuta-1,3-diene-1-one, geometries with the C?C?C?C dihedral angles about 51 and 43° (respectively) were attributed to the second energy-minimum geometry. Transition-state structures from both molecules were found in the torsional angles at about 0 and 100°.

Abstract

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP/6–31G* level were performed to investigate covalent functionalization of imidazole on pristine (in gas and H2O phases) and Ga-doped BPNT models in terms of energetic, geometric, and electronic properties. The results show that imidazole, as a functional group, prefers to be adsorbed via its nitrogen atom on the pristine, GaB, and GaP nanotube models. The adsorption energy of imidazole on the (6,0) zigzag BPNT in gas and solvent phases is ?0.76 and ?1.11 eV, respectively, and about 0.38 and 0.43 electron are transferred from the imidazole to nanotube in the phases. The presence of a polar solvent increases the electron donor of imidazole molecule. The results show that Ga doping can significantly enhance the adsorption energy of imidazole on the nanotube models to about 95%.

Moreover, the imidazole adsorption on the pristine and Ga-doped BPNT models has not significant changes in the energy gap of the nanotube models and it is slightly changed after covalent functionalization process. This study may provide new insight to the development of functionalized boron phosphide nanotubes for generation of the new hybrid compounds especially in drug delivery systems for virtual applications.  相似文献
