The relative strength of interaction between anionic (SDS) and nonionic surfactant (octaethoxylated oleyl alcohol, GEN) and homologous series of peptides was determined by reversed-phase thin-layer chromatography (RP-TLC) carried out on alumina layers impregnated with paraffin oil. The relative strength of interaction was calculated and was correlated with the physicochemical parameters of peptides. It was established that each peptide interacted with both surfactants and with their mixture (1:1, m/m). The relative strength of interaction depended on the number of amino acid units in the peptide, side chain bulk and electronic properties and hydrophobicity of the amino acids. The impact of individual parameters highly depended on the character of surfactant. The data prove that the retention order of peptides can be modified by adding different surfactants and surfactant mixtures to the mobile phase resulting in improved separation. 相似文献

Summary The subject of this study was to investigate the effect of fluoride ions addition on the temperature of sol gel mullite formation based on the hypotheses that the presence of fluoride ions can decrease the temperature of mullite formation (in respect to common 980°C, in sol-gel processing). Polymeric sols were prepared by mixing TEOS and aluminum nitrate nanohydrate and by adding fluoride ions (from 2 to 5 mass%). DTA, TG, XRD and SEM were used for characterisation of mullite gel and crystalline mullite. The experimental results confirmed that the addition of fluoride ions decrease the temperature of mullite formation up to 890°C for the fluorine concentration of 3.5 mass%. Experimental results showed that the temperature of mullite formation is not a simple function of the fluoride ion content. The mechanism of fluorine effect was discussed in terms of the gelling process, gel structure and the phase separation before the mullite formation. 相似文献

A method is developed for cadmium and zinc preconcentration on a minicolumn packed with a new chelating polymer sorbent. The effects of the test solution pH and volume, the sample matrix composition, the eluent volume, and the sample and eluent flow rates are studied. Zinc and cadmium in the eluate are determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Under optimal conditions, the determined ion recovery is more than 95%. The detection limits (3σ, n = 20) are found to be 15.0 (Cd) and 17.2 (Zn) ng/mL. The developed method is employed for cadmium and zinc determination in samples of seawater and water obtained after oil pumping. 相似文献

Iron was extracted on-line from solid meat samples by a simple and rapid continuous ultrasound-assisted extraction system (CUES). The CUES is connected to a flow injection manifold, which allows the on-line flame atomic absorption spectrometric determination of iron. A Plakett–Burman design was used for the optimisation of the CUES. The method achieved a total sampling frequency of 11 samples per hour with a relative standard deviation for the complete procedure of 0.4%. The detection limit was 0.6 g g–1 (dry mass) for a sample amount of 30 mg. Accurate results were obtained by measuring the certified reference materials BCR-186 (pig kidney) and BCR-184 (bovine muscle). A method for the analysis of several macrolide and ionophore antibiotics as well as tiamulin in liquid manure was developed. Reversed-phase liquid chromatography and atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) tandem mass spectrometry was used for detection.High-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) separation of the antibiotics was achieved in 35 min. The analytes were extracted with ethyl acetate and the extracts were cleaned up by solid-phase extraction on a diol SPE cartridge. Recovery experiments with spiked liquid manure concentrations varying from 6 to 2,000 microg kg(-1) gave constant recovery rates. The recovery rates for the macrolides erythromycin, roxithromycin and oleandomycin were 75-94%, that for the ionophore salinomycin was 119%, while that for the pleuromutilin tiamulin was 123%, when using a macrolide internal standard. The relative standard deviation was found to be 15-36% and the limits of detection were 0.4-11.0 micro g kg(-1).The maximum concentrations found in manure samples were 43 micro g kg(-1) for tiamulin and 11 micro g kg(-1) for salinomycin. 相似文献

In this paper, a new model theory of tensile strength for self-reinforced polymers is proposed. It is based on the theory of chemical activated rate and of strain-induced crystallization. A kinetic equation for bond rupture and molecular flow of the extended polymer chains was established by employing the coefficient of overstressed chain as variable. By integration and simplification, a new correlation between the tensile strength with the processing and testing conditions for self-reinforced polymers was derived from the theory. The dependence of tensile strength on the draw ratios of processing and on testing conditions was studied. The proposed theory was verified by the experimental data of poly(HDU and EUHD) crystals and Ultra High Molecular Weight of Polyethylene (UHMWPE) mechanical properties. The intergrain penetration of wetting liquids (water and gallium) is studied with polycrystalline samples of NaCl and zinc, respectively. A strong effect of a scale factor is found.
