Multireference calculations on low-lying states and the X~3 Π_u -~3 Π_g absorption spectra of indium dimers

Multireference configuration interaction calculations are carried out on 11 Λ-S low-lying electronic states of indium dimers. The states are investigated with spin-orbit pseudopotentials via the state-interacting method, and characterized by fitted spectroscopic constants based on computed potential energy curves. The vibrational structures of the double-potential well 0+g (I) ( 3 Σ g ) state are also analyzed. The experimentally observed absorption spectrum centred at ～ 13000cm-1 is simulated and assigned to X 3 Πu (v=0)-3Πg transition according to the present ab initio calculations on transition energies and dipole moment functions.     

Rapid access to pyrido[1,2,5]triazepin-4-ones through intramolecular nucleophilic aromatic substitution

Several 3-substituted pyrido[1,2,5]triazepin-4-ones and their benzo counterparts have been prepared in three steps from commercial starting materials. The key step involves S_NAr-type intramolecular nucleophilic aromatic substitution of the appropriate hydrazone substrates.     

LC Coupled with TOFMS for Metabonomics Study of Mini-pigs with Atherosclerosis

In this study, serum metabolic profiles of mini-pigs with atherosclerosis (AS) were analyzed by LC–TOFMS. Partial least-squares to latent structure-discriminant analysis and orthogonal projection to latent structure-discriminant analysis were used for group differentiation and selection of potential biomarkers. The mini-pig disease models were constructed by feeding a high-fat diet and inducing coronary injury, in accordance with the mechanism of AS pathogenesis. To characterize the development of AS, serum samples were collected and analyzed at two time points (two and ten weeks). Separate distinct clustering of results from normal and model mini-pigs could be observed for both the two and ten-week samples. With the development of AS, the metabolism of the model mini-pigs was more substantially disturbed. Major metabolites contributing to the discrimination were fatty acids, lysophosphatidylcholines, and bile acids. These potential biomarkers are related with inflammation, oxidative stress, and abnormal lipid and energy metabolism.

     

Fabrication and characterization of micro-encapsulated sodium phosphate dodecahydrate with different crosslinked polymer shells

Microencapsulations of sodium phosphate dodecahydrate with different crosslinked polymer as shells were carried out by in situ polymerization and solvent evaporation method. Methyl methacrylate (MMA), urea were employed to crosslink with ethyl acrylate (EA) and formaldehyde, respectively. The influences of the type of crosslinking agent on the performance of as-prepared microencapsulated phase change materials (microPCMs) have been studied. The microPCMs were investigated using Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscope. Thermal properties and thermal stability of microPCMs were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry and thermalgravimetric analysis. Conclusion points out that thermal properties and thermal resistant temperatures of microPCMs vary from the type of crosslinkable functional moieties of the crosslinking agents. The temperature range of melting enlarged and the melting temperature increased according to the prepared microPCMs, which is suitable for thermal energy storage.     

CMOS vision sensor with integrated into low fully digital image process power 1/8-inch chip

A digital still camera image processing system on a chip, different from the video camera system, is pre- sented for mobile phone to reduce the power consumption and size. A new color interpolation algorithm is proposed to enhance the image quality. The system can also process fixed patten noise （FPN） reduction, color correction, gamma correction, RGB/YUV space transfer, etc. The chip is controlled by sensor regis- ters by inter-integrated circuit （I2C） interface. The voltage for both the front-end analog and the pad cir- cuits is 2.8 V, and the volatge for the image signal processing is 1.8 V. The chip running under the external 13.5-MHz clock has a video data rate of 30 frames/s and the measured power dissipation is about 75 roW.     

A Compact-Intracavity Frequency-Doubling Nd:YAG Laser with 1.3 W Dual-Wavelength (659.6 nm/669.4 nm) Light Output

Terahertz wave radiation has important applications in medical instrumentation, optical communication, and so on. In this paper, we demonstrate a dual-wavelength (659.6 nm/669.4 nm) light output of a compact intracavity frequency-doubling Nd:YAG laser. We achieve a maximum output power of 1.3 W at central wavelengths of 659.6 and 669.4 nm with linewidths of 57 and 74 pm, respectively. The power instability at the maximum output power is less than 1%, and the beam quality is 1.5. This dual-wavelength laser provides a potential source for generating a coherent terahertz wave radiation of 6.46 THz by the nonlinear optical difference frequency method.
