Methoxy‐substituted poly(triphenylamine)s, poly‐4‐methoxytriphenylamine ( PMOTPA ), and poly‐N,N‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐N′,N′‐diphenyl‐p‐phenylenediamine ( PMOPD ), were synthesized from the nickel‐catalyzed Yamamoto and oxidative coupling reaction with FeCl3. All synthesized polymers could be well characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. These polymers possess good solubility in common organic solvent, thermal stability with relatively high glass‐transition temperatures (Tgs) in the range of 152–273 °C, 10% weight‐loss temperature in excess of 480 °C, and char yield at 800 °C higher than 79% under a nitrogen atmosphere. They were amorphous and showed bluish green light (430–487 nm) fluorescence with quantum efficiency up to 45–62% in NMP solution. The hole‐transporting and electrochromic properties are examined by electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical methods. All polymers exhibited reversible oxidation redox peaks and Eonset around 0.44–0.69 V versus Ag/AgCl and electrochromic characteristics with a color change under various applied potentials. The series of PMOTPA and PMOPD also showed p‐type characteristics, and the estimated hole mobility of O ‐ PMOTPA and Y ‐ PMOPD were up to 1.5 × 10?4 and 5.6 × 10?5 cm2 V?1 s?1, respectively. The FET results indicate that the molecular weight, annealing temperature, and polymer structure could crucially affect the charge transporting ability. This study suggests that triphenylamine‐containing conjugated polymer is a multifunctional material for various optoelectronic device applications. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We present particle tracking velocimetry measurements and flow visualization of pulsatile flow fields in a stented cerebrovascular lateral aneurysm model with a wide ostium anchored on a curved parent vessel. Among the stent parameters, the blocking ratioC α ranging from 0% to 75% was selected to study its effect on the changes of intra-aneurysmal hemodynamics for the reference of minimally invasive endovascular aneurysm treatment. The Womersley number was 3.9 and the mean, peak, and minimal Reynolds numbers based on the bulk average velocity and diameter of the parent vessel were 600, 850, and 300, respectively. The results are characterized in terms of velocity vector field, coded streak images, region averaged velocity, vorticity, and wall shear stress. A critical range ofC α related to the inflow location as well as the shape and number of intra-aneurysmal vortices is identified. The intra-aneurysmal flow activity, vortex strength, and wall shear stress are found to decrease with increasingC α. Among theC α examined,C α=75% is the most favorable in attenuating the risk of aneurysmal rupture and promoting intra-aneurysmal thrombus.  相似文献

We extended the previous lattice model for polymer solution systems to binary polymer blend systems. Based on Müller’s Monte-Carlo simulation data for symmetric system (r1 = 32 and r2 = 32), the energy of mixing is correlated as a function of temperature and composition using an empirical expression. In addition, we introduce new universal functions which reflect the characteristics of polymer-polymer miscibility behaviors. In associated blend systems, specific interactions between polymer segments are considered by using a secondary lattice. Using only one or two adjustable parameters, the proposed model satisfactory correlates the experimental data of real polymer blend systems with greater accuracy than those of other models.  相似文献

In this study, master of the microlens arrays is fabricated using micro dispensing technology, and then electroforming technology is employed to replicate the Ni mold insert of the microlens arrays. Finally, micro hot embossing is performed to replicate the molded microlens arrays from the Ni mold insert. The resin material is used as the dispensing material, which is dropped on a glass substrate. The resin is exposed to a 380 W halogen light. It becomes convex under surface tension on the glass substrate. A master for the microlens arrays is then obtained. A 150‐nm‐thick copper layer is sputtered on the master as an electrically conducting layer. The electroforming method replicates the Ni mold insert from the master of the microlens arrays. Finally, micro hot embossing is adopted to replicate the molded microlens arrays. The micro hot embossing experiment employs optical films of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC). The processing parameters of micro hot embossing are processing temperature, embossing pressure, embossing time, and de‐molding temperature. Taguchi's method is applied to optimize the processing parameters of micro hot embossing for molded microlens arrays. An optical microscope and a surface profiler are utilized to measure the surface profile of the master, the Ni mold insert and the molded microlens arrays. AFM is employed to measure the surface roughness of the master, the Ni mold insert and the molded microlens arrays. In our previous study [S.Y. Oh, Y.C. Bae, J. Phys. Chem. B 114 (2010) 8948-8953], we presented a new method to predict liquid-liquid equilibria in ternary simple liquid mixtures by using a combination of a thermodynamic model and molecular simulations. As a continuation of that effort, we extend our previously developed method to ternary polymer systems. In the simulations, we used the dummy atoms to calculate the pair interaction energy values between the polymer segments and the solvent molecules. Furthermore, a thermodynamic model scaling concept is introduced to consider the chain length dependence of the energy parameters. This method was applied to ternary mixtures incorporating low to high molecular weight polymers. The method presented here well described the experimental observations using one or no adjustable parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, we will propose a passive automatic exposure mechanism. Different from general automatic exposure mechanism, the passive exposure mechanism directly searches suitable exposure images through the content of images. As exposure is one of the main factors to successfully take pictures, how to find an accurate exposure value is an important issue. Passive automatic exposure is the new trend and key issue of image processing. We will experiment and prove that the method we propose is effective.  相似文献

A precipitation process has been developed to prepare precursor powders, which can be calcined and sintered to form high‐Tc superconductors such as YBa2Cu3Oy. Precursor powders are prepared using a mixed‐precipitants system in which a solution contains precipitating anions such as hydroxide, oxinate and oxalate ions. A theoretical study on the conditions of mixed‐precipitants coprecipitation is performed. The solution pH of complete precipitation of the title system is extended and is maintained between 4.46 and 12.0. A series of experiments were conducted to confirm the as‐derived optimal condition. Finally, characterization of the properties of the YBa2Cu3Oy obtained after high temperature treatment is reported.  相似文献

This work reports the surface‐initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) from hydrogen plasma‐treated porous poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) membranes using the C? F groups as initiators. Hydrogen plasma treatment on PTFE membrane surfaces changes their chemical environment through defluorination and hydrogenation reactions. With the hydrogen plasma treatment, the C? F groups of the modified PTFE membrane surface become effective initiators of ATRP. Surface‐initiated ATRP of poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate (PEGMA) is carried out to graft PPEGMA chains to PTFE membrane surfaces. The chain lengths of poly(PEGMA) (PPEGMA) grafted on PTFE surfaces increase with increasing the reaction time of ATRP. Furthermore, the chain ends of PPEGMA grown on PTFE membrane surfaces then serve as macroinitiators for the ATRP of N‐isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) to build up the PPEGMA‐b‐PNIPAAm block copolymer chains on the PTFE membrane surfaces. The chemical structures of the modified PTFE membranes are characterized using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The modification increases the surface hydrophilicity of the PTFE membranes with reductions in their water‐contact angles from 120° to 60°. The modified PTFE membranes also show temperature‐responsive properties and protein repulsion features owing to the presence of PNIPAAM and PPEGMA chains. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
