A criterion for the selection of a suitable plasticizer for calix[n]arene-based ion-selective electrodes is discussed. The cation selectivity of plasticized membranes without the ligand was first measured as a reference. The membranes can be roughly classified into two groups. The first group shows cation selectivity in the order Cs++>K+>Na+>Li+. The membranes in the second group are made of phosphorus plasticizers, which show a selectivity in the reverse order. The plasticizers in the first group featured a linear relationship between the dipole moment of the plasticizer (calculated by a PM3 method) and the ratio of cesium selectivity to lithium selectivity. The linear relationship supports the view that the polar membrane which includes a soft plasticizer with a large dipole moment shows selectivity for Cs+, whereas the nonpolar membrane including the soft plasticizer with the small dipole moment shows much lower selectivity for Cs+. Next, 2-fluorphenyl-2-nitrophenyl ether (FPNPE) which showed the highest Cs+ selectivity and tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate (TEHP) which showed the highest Li+ selectivity were mixed in an appropriate ratio to make membranes with a different affinity for hard ions. The metal selectivities of several crown-based and calixarene-based ionophores were examined in these membranes. Although a few exceptions exist, the polar soft membrane is favorable when the interfering metal ion is hard, whereas the hard membrane is favorable when the interfering metal ion is soft.  相似文献

Summary The hydrodynamic limit for a Markov process of [0, )-valued spin fields on a periodic multidimensional lattice is studied. In the process a positive real number, called energy, is attached to each site of the lattice and each couple of adjacent sites exchange thier energy by random amounts at random times. The law of the exchange is such that the sum of the total energy is conserved, and that the process is reversible and of gradient type for the energy distribution. We show that under diffusion type scaling of space and time, the macroscopic energy distribution converges to a deterministic limit which is characterized by a non-linear diffusion equation /t=2–1P(), whereP is an increasing function which in a typical case equals const·2.  相似文献

An amperometric enzyme electrode for the determination of hypoxanthine in fish meat is described. The hypoxanthine sensor was prepared from xanthine oxidase immobilized by covalent binding to cellulose triacetate and a carbon paste electrode containing hydroxymethylferrocene. The xanthine oxidase membrane was retained behind a dialysis membrane at a carbon paste electrode. The sensor showed a current response to hypoxanthine due to the bioelectrocatalytic oxidation of hypoxanthine, in which hydroxymethyiferrocene served as an electron-transfer mediator. The limit of detection is 6 × 10?7 M, the relative standard deviation is 2.8% (n=28) and the response is linear up to 7 × 10?4 M. The sensor responded rapidly to a low hypoxanthine concentration (7 × 10?4 M), the steady-state current response being achieved in less than 1 min, and was stable for more than 30 days at 5 ° C. Results for tuna samples showed good agreement with the value determined by the conventional method.  相似文献

The graft copolymerizations of styrene onto poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and nylon fibers were carried out by the mutual irradiation and preirradiation methods. True graft copolymers were isolated from the products by extraction and characterized by hydrolysis and osmometry. Among the swelling agents employed, methanol was most effective for increasing the extent of grafting onto PET. In both methods of the grafting, the molecular weight of polystyrene formed in the substrate matrix was higher than one million if no chain-transfer agent was added to the monomer solution. Similar to the case of radiation grafting onto poly(vinyl alcohol) and cellulose, the isolated graft copolymer carried only one branch per copolymer molecule in both cases. Of great interest is the particularly low extent of grafting in the case of PET–styrene. This should be attributed to the low sensitivity of PET to radiation. The grafting site on the mother polymer molecule is discussed on the basis of the solution behavior of the branch polymers separated from the backbone.  相似文献

S-Methyl thiomethacrylate (methyl thiolmethacrylate, MTMA) was polymerized with a variety of anionic initiators such as n-BuLi, octylpotassium, PhMgBr, and Et2AlNPh2 in toluene and THF. Stereoregularity of the polymer (PMTMA) was determined from the 1H-NMR spectrum of poly(methyl methacrylate), which had been derived from PMTMA, because the α-methyl resonance in the 1H-NMR spectrum of PMTMA was not satisfactorily solved owing to the overlap of pentad signals. The 13C-NMR spectrum of PMTMA also showed the splitting due to pentad sequences. Stereoregularity of PMTMA was always low compared with that of poly(methyl methacrylate), which was prepared under the same reaction conditions. MTMA was much more reactive than methyl methacrylate and methacrylonitrile in the copolymerization with n-BuLi in toluene and in THF at ?78°C. The lower stereoregulation of the polymerization of MTMA and the higher reactivity of MTMA were mainly ascribed to the higher resonance effect of MTMA.  相似文献

A simple method for the synthesis of procyanidin B3 substituted with a galloyl group at the 3 and 3″ position is described. Condensation of a benzylated catechin-3-O-gallate electrophile with a nucleophile, catechin and catechin-3-O-gallate, proceeded smoothly and stereoselectively to afford the corresponding dimer gallates, procyanidin B3-3-O-gallate and procyanidin B3-3,3″-di-O-gallate, in good yields. Further, their antioxidant activities on UV-induced lipid peroxide formation, DPPH radical scavenging activity and inhibitory activity of DNA polymerase were also investigated. Among three procyanidin B3 congeners (procyanidin B3, 3-O-gallate and 3,3″-di-O-gallate), the 3,3″-di-O-gallate derivative showed the strongest antioxidant and radical scavenging activity. Interestingly, the 3-O-gallate derivative was the strongest inhibitor of mammalian DNA polymerase with IC50 value of 0.26 μM, although it showed the weakest antioxidant and radical scavenging activity. It became apparent that the presence of a galloyl group at the C-3 position in the proanthocyanidin oligomer was very important for biological activity, however, the antioxidant activity of these compounds was not parallel to the DNA polymerase inhibitory activity.  相似文献

Two new dioxopyrrolines (1-aryl-4-methoxycarbonyl-1H-pyrrole-2,3-dione 6 and the 5-methoxycarbonyl isomer 8) behaved as good dienophiles to some kind of 1,3-dienes examined. In most cases, the products were explained by the reaction where the largest lobe of HOMO of dienes reacted to the larger LUMO of dienophiles in an expected cis-endo manner. However, in the reactions of 8 with alkylbutadienes, piperylene and isoprene, abnormality in the reaction was observed, which was well explained by taking account of steric factors.  相似文献

Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) organic dyes are currently receiving a great interest, but there are still not many reported observations of CPL spectra of hydrophobic dyes from aqueous solution. We have prepared hydrophobic pyrene derivatives and dissolved them into aqueous solutions with γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CD) by using grinding technique. Among these derivatives, (pyrene-1-carbonyl)serine (PySer) forms a spatially restricted dimer in the hydrophobic chiral cavity of γ-CD and exhibits excimer emission with a high quantum yield of Φf?=?0.68. In addition, circular dichroism and CPL signals were induced for the complex. The strong gCPL value of gCPL?=?+?2.2?×?10?3 was obtained, which may be attributed to the interaction between the hydroxyl groups in the side chain of PySer with those of γ-CD and it strengthens the chiral dimeric structure.

Effect of TRX-liposomes size on their prolonged circulation in rats   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
Newly formulated cationic liposomes (TRX-liposomes) with four different mean diameters were injected into twelve male rats via the lateral tail vein in order to evaluate the effect of liposomal size on pharmacokinetic parameters. TRX-liposomes disappeared from the blood according to the one-compartment model and demonstrated maximum and minimum half-lives of ca. 14 h (mean diameter of 114.3 nm) and ca. 5 h (mean diameter of 285.9 nm), respectively. This prolonged half-life tended to decrease at the boundary of 114.3 nm mean diameter. The optimal size (114.3 nm) for prolonged circulation of TRX-liposomes was consistent with that of pegylated liposomes such as Doxil((R)), however, the half-life was different among these liposomes. The electric charge of the TRX-liposomal surface is assumed to be responsible for this difference. The results of the present study will be very useful in the design of long-circulating cationic liposomes.  相似文献

Acyloxyalkyl esters (2a-d), alkyloxycarbonyloxyalkyl esters (2e-g) and (5-methyl-2-oxo-1,3-dioxol-4-yl)methyl ester (2h) of (5R,6S)-2-(2-fluoroethylthio)-6-[(1R)-1-hydroxyethyl]penem-3- carboxylic acid (1) were synthesized. Enhanced oral absorption was observed in mice reflecting increased lipophilicity, compared with the parent 1 itself. Among them, the ester 2h showed a prolonged plasma level and a large area under the blood concentration-time curve (AUC) in rats. These ester-type prodrugs of penem 1 in phosphate buffer (pH 6.86) were much more stable than those of cephalosporins which easily degraded via isomerization to delta 2 cephalosporins.  相似文献
