We introduce the concept of a twisting cochain and a twisted complex associated to a coherent sheaf. For sheaves of submanifolds these twisted complexes are used to construct on cochain level the Grothendieck theory of dual class and Gysin map. These explicit constructions give, for instance, a local formula for dual class of higher codimensional submanifolds. We prove a refined version of the Hirzebruch Riemann Roch using such local formulas. We also prove a theorem on when global analytic intersection classes can be computed from first order geometric data. This theory will be used to prove the Holomorphic Lefschetz formula (in Part II) and the Hirzebruch Riemann Roch for analytic coherent sheaves.The first author is supported in part by NSF grants GP-36418X1 and MCS 76-08478. The electrochemical behaviors of uric acid (UA) at the penicillamine (Pen) self-assembled monolayers modified gold electrode
(Pen/Au) have been studied. The Pen/Au electrode is demonstrated to promote the electrochemical response of UA by cyclic voltammetry
(CV). The diffusion coefficient D of UA is 6.97 × 10−6 cm2 s−1. In differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) measurements, the Pen/Au electrode can separate the UA and ascorbic acid (AA) oxidation
potentials by about 120 mV and can be used for the selective determination of UA in the presence of AA. The detection limit

A critical review of applications for the period 2000-2003, taken from the Web of Knowledge database, of the techniques high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation-mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS) and capillary electrophoresis-electrospray ionisation-mass spectrometry (CE-ESI-MS) to the detection and determination of small molecules of significance in clinical and forensic science is presented. The molecules of mass less than 500 Da are chosen according to selected structural classes in which they give ESI signals primarily as [M+H](+) ions although other ions such as [M-H](-), [M+Na](+) and [M+NH(4)](+) are also reported. The structural classes are drugs with amine-containing side chains, drugs with N-containing saturated ring structures, 1,4-benzodiazepines, carbohydrates, benzimidazoles, other heterocycles, sulphonylureas, anthracyclines, sulphonamides, penicillins, cephalosporins, tetracyclines, nitrocatechols, steroids, flavonoids, oxazaphosphorines, cannabinols, and miscellaneous molecules. Details are given on the fragmentations, where available, that these ionic species exhibit in-source and in ion-trap, triple quadrupole and time-of-flight mass spectrometers. The review then gives a critical evaluation of these recent HPLC-ESI-MS and CE-ESI-MS analytical methods for the detection and determination of small molecules of clinical and forensic significance. Analytical information on, for example, sample concentration techniques, HPLC and CE separation conditions, recoveries from biological media and limits of detection (LODs) are provided. 相似文献

Neutral Ni(II) salicylaldiminato complexes activated with modified methylaluminoxane as catalysts were used for the vinylic polymerization of norbornene. Catalyst activities of up to 7.08 × 104 kgpol/(molNi · h) and viscosity‐average molecular weights of polymer up to 1.5 × 106 g/mol were observed at optimum conditions. Polynorbornenes are amorphous, soluble in organic solvents, highly stable, and show glass‐transition temperatures around 390 °C. Catalyst activity, polymer yield, and polymer molecular weight can be controlled over a wide range by the variation of the reaction parameters such as the Al/Ni ratio, monomer/catalyst ratio, monomer concentration, polymerization reaction temperature, and time. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two new ent‐abietane diterpenoids, macrophynin E ( 1 ) and macrophynin F ( 2 ), and a known related ent‐abietanoid (?)‐lambertic acid ( 3 ), together with four known ent‐kauranoids, were isolated from the roots and aerial parts of Isodon macrophylla, respectively. The retention and selectivity of the chromatographic separation of basic (cationic) analytes on a polybutadiene-coated zirconia (PBD-ZrO2) stationary phase have been studied in greater detail than in previous studies. These separations are strongly influenced by the chemistry of the accessible surface of zirconia. In the presence of buffers which contain hard Lewis bases (e.g., phosphate, fluoride, carboxylic acids) zirconia's surface becomes negatively charged due to adsorption of the buffer anion at the hard Lewis acid sites. Consequently, under most conditions (e.g., neutral pH), cationic analytes undergo both hydrophobic and cation-exchange interactions. This mixed-mode retention process generally leads to greater retention factors for cations relative to those on silica-based reversed phases despite the lower surface areas of the zirconia phase, but, more importantly, adsorption of hard Lewis bases can be used to control the chromatographic selectivity for cationic analytes on these zirconia-based stationary phases. In contrast to our prior work, here we show that when mixed-mode retention takes place, both retention and selectivity are easily adjusted by changing the type of hard Lewis base buffer anion, the type of buffer counter-ion (e.g., sodium, potassium, ammonium), the pH, and the ionic strength of the eluent as well as the type and amount of organic modifier. 相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of epinephrine (EP) at a mercaptoacetic acid (MAA) self-assembled monolayer modified gold electrode
was studied. The MAA/Au electrode is demonstrated to promote the electrochemical response of epinephrine by cyclic voltammetry.
The possible reaction mechanism is also discussed. The diffusion coefficient D of EP is 6.85 × 10−6 cm2 s−1. In 0.1 mol L−1 phosphate buffer (pH 7.20), a sensitive oxidation peak was observed at 0.177 V, and the peak current is proportional to the
concentration of EP in the range of 1.0 × 10−5–2.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 and 1.0 × 10−7–1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1. The detection limit is 5 × 10−8 mol L−1. The modified electrode is highly stable and can be applied to the determination of EP in practical injection samples. The
