BEPC中电子云导致的束团横向尺寸增长研究

多束团正电子储存环中可能发生电子云不稳定性. 由于电子云导致的束团横向尺寸增长已经成为提高对撞机对撞亮度的主要限制因素之一. 介绍了在BEPC储存环中, 利用条纹相机直接测量由于电子云导致的束团横向尺寸增长结果, 并与模拟计算进行了比较.     

New physics hints in B decays and collider outlook

There are currently two hints for new physics involving CP violation in b → s transitions: ΔS ≡ S _f − S _J ^ϕK ≠ 0, and difference in direct CP asymmetry ΔA _Kπ ≡ A _K+π ⁰ − A _K+π ⁻ ≠ 0. We explore the two scenarios with a large and unique new CP phase in b ↔ s transitions. Motivated by ΔS ≠ 0, we update on the right-handed strange-beauty squark sb _1R at TeV scale. Motivated by ΔA _Kπ ≠ 0, we explore sequential fourth generation t′ and b′ quarks. Both scenarios can survive constraints such as SM level b → sγ, sll and B _s mixing, and predict sizable CP violation in B _s mixing. The fourth generation picture predicts sizable K _L → π ⁰ vv. Direct search for sb _R, b′ and t′ at hadronic colliders, such as Tevatron Run II and LHC, can complement further CP violation studies at these machines, as well as at the future Super B factory.     

Tm3+/Yb3+共掺铋碲酸盐玻璃中的高效蓝色上转换荧光

制备了高折射率Tm3+/Yb3+共掺杂铋碲酸盐玻璃,利用棱镜耦合法测量出玻璃在632.8和1550 nm波长处的折射率分别为2.0365和1.9795. 对玻璃的吸收、荧光和红外透过光谱展开了测试与分析,根据Judd-Ofelt理论对吸收光谱进行拟合,求得Tm3+的振子强度参数Ωt(t=2,4,6)分别为3.90×10-20, 2.03×10-20和9.03×10-21 cm2,并进一步计算了Tm3+在玻璃中各能级跃迁的振子强度、自发辐射跃迁概率、辐射寿命和荧光分支比等光谱参数. 在980 nm激光激发下测得强的蓝色三光子上转换和近红外双光子上转换荧光. 宽的红外透过窗口、高的折射率和强的蓝色上转换荧光表明,Tm3+/Yb3+共掺铋碲酸盐玻璃有希望成为高效的上转换发光和激光材料.     

Some non-abelian phase spaces in low dimensions

A non-abelian phase space, or a phase space of a Lie algebra, is a generalization of the usual (abelian) phase space of a vector space. It corresponds to a para-Kähler structure in geometry. Its structure can be interpreted in terms of left-symmetric algebras. In particular, a solution of an algebraic equation in a left-symmetric algebra which is an analogue of classical Yang–Baxter equation in a Lie algebra can induce a phase space. In this paper, we find that such phase spaces have a symplectically isomorphic property. We also give all such phase spaces in dimension 4 and some examples in dimension 6. These examples can be a guide for a further development.     

Study of decay mechanisms in B--->Lambdac+ppi- decays and observation of low-mass structure in the Lambdac+p system

Using a sample of 152 x 10(6) BB pairs accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider, we study the decay mechanism of three-body charmed decay B- --> Lambdac+ ppi-. The intermediate two-body decay B--->Sigmac (2455)0 p is observed for the first time with a branching fraction of (3.7 +/- 0.7 +/- 0.4 +/- 1.0) x 10(-5) and a statistical significance of 8.4sigma. We also observe a low-mass enhancement in the (Lambdac+p) system, which can be parametrized as a Breit-Wigner function with a mass of (3.35(-0.02)(+0.01) +/-0.02) GeV/c2 and a width of (0.07(-0.03)(+0.04) +/-0.04) GeV/c2. We measure its branching fraction to be (3.9(-0.7)(+0.8) +/- 0.4 +/- 1.0) x 10(-5) with a statistical significance of 6.2sigma. The errors are statistical, systematic, and that of the Lambdac+-->pK- pi+ decay branching fraction.     

Synchronization and coherent combining of two pulsed fiber lasers

We demonstrate a scalable architecture for coherent combining of pulsed fiber lasers.A new method for generating synchronous pulsed fiber lasers by direct phase modulation is proposed and investigated.It is shown that phase modulated mutually coupled laser array can be a steady synchronous pulsed fiber laser source.The synchronous pulsed fiber lasers are coherently combined with an invariable phase difference of π in adjacent lasers.Neither active phase control nor polarization control is taken in our experiment.     

向列相液晶中空间光孤子的观测

分别以He-Ne激光器、半导体激光器和Ar⁺激光器作为光源照射液晶材料，在低光强入射的情况下均观察到了光束的自聚焦现象以及空间光孤子的形成，观察到了长度l>5mm的孤子波和多模空间光孤子，并对空间孤子的产生条件及特性进行了讨论. 关键词： 自聚焦 空间光孤子 向列相液晶     

氟代吡啶阳离子的理论研究

利用量子化学密度泛函理论B3LYP方法及 6 31G(d ,p)、6 311G(d ,p)、6 31+G(d ,p)和 6 311+G(d ,p)基组对五氟代吡啶、2 ,6 二氟代吡啶和 2 氟代吡啶分子的阳离子进行了计算研究 .B3LYP构型优化和频率分析计算结果表明这三种氟代吡啶阳离子的结构分别具有C2v、C2v和Cs 对称性 ,电子基态分别为2 A2 、2 A2 和2 A″ .对离子和分子的计算构型做了比较 .利用B3LYP方法和不同的基组对这三种阳离子及其分子进行了自然布居分析计算 .用B3LYP方法对这三种阳离子 (自由基 )中的超精细结构进行了计算 ,对五氟代吡啶、2 ,6 二氟代吡啶和2 氟代吡啶分子的垂直电离势和绝热电离势进行了计算 ,与实验值符合得很好     

Unified symmetry of nonholonomic mechanical systems with variable mass

Based on the total time derivative along the trajectory of the system the definition and the criterion for a unified symmetry of nonholonomic mechanical system with variable mass are presented in this paper. A new conserved quantity, as well as the Noether conserved quantity and the Hojman conserved quantity, deduced from the unified symmetry, are also obtained. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results.     

Observation of a new DsJ meson in B+-->D0D0K+ decays

We report the observation of a new DsJ meson produced in B+-->D0DsJ-->D0D0K+. This state has a mass of M=2708+/-9(-10)(+11) MeV/c2, a width Gamma=108+/-23(-31)(+36) MeV/c2 and a 1- spin-parity. The statistical significance of this observation is 8.4 sigma. The results are based on an analysis of 449 x 10(6) BB events collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider.
