Immiscible blends of cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) and isotactic polypropylenes (iPPs) with different melting index were extruded through a two‐strand rod die. The extrudates were hot‐drawn at the die exit at different draw ratios by controlling the drawing speed. The morphologies of iPP fibers extracted from the as‐obtained extrudates after removal of CAB by acetone were investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The influences of draw ratio, viscosity ratio, and composition ratio of CAB/iPP on the morphology evolution of iPP phase into nanofibers in the immiscible blends were studied. It was found that the thermoplastic iPP nanofibers were formed from the elongation of iPP ellipsoids, end‐to‐end merging of elongated iPP microfibers, and the size decrease of iPP microfibers in the processes of extrusion and drawing. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. To explore the potential tumor markers for lung adenocarcinoma, two‐dimensional gel electrophoresis (2DE) coupled with nano‐LC/MS/MS was used to analyze the differentially expressed proteins in 10 surgical resected lung adenocarcinoma tissues. 16 proteins were significantly different between the cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue. Galectin‐1, peroxiredoxin II (Prx II), proapolipoprotein, glyceraldehyde‐3‐phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), aldolase A, enolase 1, neuropolypeptide h3, Prx V, cyclophilin A, vimentin, protein disulfide isomerase (PDI), tropomyosin 3 (TPM 3), glutathione S‐transferase Pi (GST‐Pi), manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD), and cofilin 1 were up‐regulated in the cancer tissue. On the other hand, profilin was down‐regulated in the cancer tissue. Among these proteins, six proteins were validated by Western blot analysis. The identified proteins contributing to the spectrum of cancer progression may be used as potential diagnostic biomarkers for lung adenocarcinomas.  相似文献

We establish a triple-stacking capillary electrophoresis (CE) separation method to monitor methotrexate (MTX) and its eight metabolites in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Three stacking methods with different mechanisms were combined and incorporated into CE separation. Complete stacking and sharp peaks were achieved. Firstly, the optimized buffer (60 mM phosphate containing 15% THF and 100 mM SDS) was filled into the capillary, which was followed by the higher conductivity buffer (100 mM phosphate, 2 psi for 45 s). The analytes extracted from CSF were injected at 2 psi for 99.9 s, which provided long sample zones and pH junction for focusing. Finally, the stacking step was performed by sweeping, and separation was achieved by micellar electrokinetic chromatography. The results of the linear regression equations indicated high linearity (r ≥ 0.9981) over the range of 0.5–7 μM. In intra- and inter-batch results, all data of RSD and RE were below 11%, indicating good precision and accuracy of this method. The LODs (S/N = 3) were 0.1 μM for MTX, 7-hydroxymethotrexate (7-OHMTX) and MTX-polyglutamates (MTX-(Glu) n, n = 2–5), 0.2 μM for MTX-(Glu)6, and 0.3 μM for 2,4-diamino-N 10-methylpteroic acid (DAMPA) and MTX-(Glu)7. Our method was implemented for analysis of MTX and its metabolites in the CSF, and could be used for evaluation of its curative effects of acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients. The data were also confirmed by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The results showed good coincidence.  相似文献

We report a high speed and high purity pulsed laser triggered fluorescence activated cell sorter (PLACS) with a sorting throughput up to 20,000 mammalian cells s(-1) with 37% sorting purity, 90% cell viability in enrichment mode, and >90% purity in high purity mode at 1500 cells s(-1) or 3000 beads s(-1). Fast switching (30 μs) and a small perturbation volume (~90 pL) is achieved by a unique sorting mechanism in which explosive vapor bubbles are generated using focused laser pulses in a single layer microfluidic PDMS channel.  相似文献

X(2)(-)(H(2)O) [X = O, F] is utilized to explore water binding motifs to an excess electron via ab initio calculations at the MP4(SDQ)/aug-cc-pVDZ + diffs(2s2p,2s2p) level of theory. X(2)(-)(H(2)O) can be regarded as a water molecule that binds to an excess electron, the distribution of which is gauged by X(2). By varying the interatomic distance of X(2), r(X1-X2), the distribution of the excess electron is altered, and the water binding motifs to the excess electron is then examined. Depending on r(X1-X2), both binding motifs of C(s) and C(2v) forms are found with a critical distance of ~1.37 ? and ~1.71 ? for O(2)(-)(H(2)O) and F(2)(-)(H(2)O), respectively. The energetic and geometrical features of O(2)(-)(H(2)O) and F(2)(-)(H(2)O) are compared. In addition, various electronic properties of X(2)(-)(H(2)O) are examined. For both O(2)(-)(H(2)O) and F(2)(-)(H(2)O), the C(s) binding motif appears to prevail at a compact distribution of the excess electron. However, when the electron is diffuse, characterized by the radius of gyration in the direction of the X(2) bond axis with a threshold of ~0.84 ?, the C(2v) binding motif is formed.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, and fluorescence behavior of acetylene-bridged pentiptycene dimer (2), trimer (3), and tetramer (4) are reported. For comparison, a phenylene-pentiptycene-phenylene three-ring system (5) is also investigated. As a result of the unique intrachain pentiptycene-pentiptycene interactions in 3 and 4, their twisted conformers are populated in polar solvents and at low temperatures, and the phenomenon of nonequilibration of excited rotational conformers is observed. Twisting of the pi-conjugated backbones leads to blue-shifted absorption and fluorescence spectra and increased fluorescence quantum yields and lifetimes. The fluorescence spectra of 2-4 undergo small red shifts but large intensity variations in the 0-1 vs 0-0 bands on going from solutions to thin solid films, which can be accounted for by the reabsorption effect. However, the reduction in fluorescence quantum yields for 2-4 in films vs solutions is mainly attributed to efficient interchain exciton migration to nonfluorescent energy traps. In contrast, the behavior of nonequilibration of excited rotamers is not observed for 5 in solutions. Compound 5 forms J-type aggregates through terminal phenylene pi-stackings in the solid state, resulting in a new absorption band at 377 nm and large red shifts of the structured fluorescence spectra.  相似文献

A multiwavelength fiber ring laser that is based on an S-band erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is developed. An optical switch is used to switch the multiwavelength fiber laser between S-band and L-band. This fiber laser can stably lase seven wavelengths in the S-band or 28 wavelengths in the L-band. Additionally, the lasing wavelengths with a signal-to-noise ratio of over 33 dB and a wavelength spacing of 100 GHz are demonstrated experimentally. The average powers of the lasing wavelength in the S-band and the L-band are −7.53 and −12.15 dBm, respectively.  相似文献
