In 1707, approximately 0.7 km3 of magma erupted from new vents on the southeastern slope of Fuji volcano. The air-fall clasts of this explosive eruption are composed of vesicular dacite pumice, andesitic dense scoria, basaltic dense scoria, and vesiculated basalt scoria, stratified from bottom to the top of the fallout unit. Some compositional gaps are found in the variation from basalt to dacite indicating that three independent magmas, basalt, andesite and dacite, existed just prior to the eruption. Andesite and dacite magmas are mixed just prior to or during the eruption showing a linear two component mixing in the major and trace element concentration. Basalt in the later stage of the eruption shows no compositional affinity with the above two magmas. Basalt magma might have acted as a heat source to remobilize the andesite and dacite magmas, and the explosive eruption of basalt could have been caused by the abrupt pressure release due to precursory mixing and eruption of dacite and andesite magmas. 相似文献

The experiment was carried out to estimate the amount of residual ions after the etching of polyimide irradiated by heavy ions, where etching resulted in a channel of measurable depth in the polyimide. None of the analytical techniques presents each ion separately in etched polyimide containing heavy ions. Activation analysis was used for the irradiated polyimide to see how the injected ions were eluted into the solution by etching. When the irradiated polyimide was etched for only a little longer than the time needed to dissolve a selected range of incident ions, the bulk began subsequently to dissolve. We characterize a permutation as a sequence of wire-cycle periods and a sequence of state-cycle periods. These sequences are called a wire-sequence and a state-sequence, respectively. A relation between wire-cycles and state-cycles is discussed and some combinatorial problems on cycle periods of permutations are solved. Summary The behavior of a slightly rarefied gas mixture bounded by plane boundaries is investigated on the basis of the linearized Boltzmann equation ofB-G-K type for gas mixtures under the diffusive boundary condition. A useful result of the present analysis is that the macroscopic equations and the appropriate boundary conditions in terms of slip and jump are obtained together with the Knudsen-layer corrections near the boundaries. This system of equations makes possible the treatment at fluid dynamic level for various problems of gas mixtures with plane geometry which require kinetic theory consideration. As an application of this system, some basic flow problems of a slightly rarefied gas mixture, namely, Couette flow, thermal slip flow and diffusion slip flow between two plates are taken up. The total velocity distributions of these concrete problems are explicitly obtained for the first time, and their dependence on the properties and concentration of the component gases in the mixture are clarified in some detail.
Zusammenfassung Das Verhalten einer verdünnten Gasmischung, bei kleiner aber nicht vernachlässigbarer Knudsen Zahl, zwischen zwei parallelen Platten wird analytisch untersucht. Die linearisierten Boltzmann Gleichungen desB-G-K Typs für Gasmischungen mit diffusiven Randbedingungen werden angewendet. Aus der vorliegenden Untersuchung resultieren brauchbare makroskopische Gleichungen mit den zugehörigen Randbedingungen, — mit Gleitgeschwindigkeit und Temperatursprung formuliert, — sowie die Korrekturen für die wandnahe Knudsen-Schicht. Verschiedene Strömungen von Gasmischungen, bei denen gas-kinetische Effekte eine Rolle spielen, entlang ebener Begrenzungen können mit den Gleichungssystemen auf strömungsmechanischem Niveau behandelt werden. Das System wird auf die Couette Strömung und die thermal-slip und diffusion-slip Strömungen angewendet. Zum ersten Mal werden die Geschwindigkeitsprofile dieser elementaren Strömungen explizit berechnet. Der Einfluß der Gaseigenschaften und Konzentrationen auf diese Profile werden weitgehend erklärt.相似文献

Boron-doped semiconducting diamond films were prepared using BF3 by microwave plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition. B-doping was confirmed by SIMS and Raman spectroscopic measurements and the B-doping levels were estimated. Electrochemical behaviors of boron-doped diamond thin-film electrodes prepared using B2H6 and BF3 were studied by measuring cyclic voltammograms for anodic oxidation of 1,4-difluorobenzene in the liquid electrolyte, neat Et4NF·4HF.
