Methylene blue-intercalated alpha-zirconium phosphate (MBZrP) micro particles in deionized water were deposited onto the surface of graphite powder to prepare graphite powder-supported MBZrP, which was subsequently dispersed into methyltrimethoxysilane-derived gels to yield a conductive composite. The composite was used as electrode material to fabricate a surface-renewable, rigid, leak-free carbon ceramic composite electrode, bulk-modified with methylene blue (MB). In the configuration, alpha-zirconium phosphate was employed as a solid host for MB, which acted as a catalyst. Graphite powder ensured conductivity by percolation, the silicate provided a rigid porous backbone and the methyl groups endowed hydrophobicity and thus limited the wetting section of the modified electrode. Peak currents of the MBZrP-modified electrode were surface-confined at low scan rates but diffusion-controlled at high scan rates. Square-wave voltammetric study revealed that MBZrP immobilized in carbon ceramic matrix presented a two-electron, three-proton redox process in acidic aqueous solution with pH ranged from 0.44 to 2.94. In addition, the chemically modified electrode showed an electrocatalytic activity toward nitrite reduction at +0.15 V ( vs. Ag/AgCl) in acidic aqueous solution (pH=0.44). A systematic investigation in isolated 5-hydroxyisoxazole–water complexes (5-HIO · (H2O)nn = 1–3) is performed at the DFT level, employing B3LYP/6-31G(d, p) basis set. Single-point energy calculations are also performed at the MP2 level using B3LYP/6-31G(d, p) optimized geometries and the 6-311++G(d, p) basis set. The computational results show that the keto tautomer K2 is the most stable isomer in the gas phase, and the tautomer K1 to be the next most stable tautomer. Hydrogen bonding between HIO and the water molecule(s) will dramatically lower the barrier by a concerted multiple proton transfer mechanism. The proton transfer process of 3WEcis ↔ 3WK1 and 2WEtrans ↔ 2WK2 is found to be more efficient in two tautomerization, and the barrier heights are 7.03 and 14.15 kcal/mol at B3LYP/6-31G(d, p) level, respectively. A novel concocting method to convert Triptolide (T) into Tripchlorolide (T(4)) in the traditional Chinese herb Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F. and a micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatographic (MEKC) approach by which the conversion of Triptolide (T) and Tripchlorolide (T(4)) was identified and determined had been established. Investigations of the influence of different pH values of boric acid and borax buffer and of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and organic additive concentrations had been carried out, and the optimum separation for T and T(4) was achieved using boric acid and borax of pH 7.0 with 30 mM SDS and 20% (volume ratio) methanol as the running buffer. It was found that MEKC exhibited good accuracy, precision and repeatability and the content of T(4) was greatly increased in the herb that was treated by the new concocting method. 相似文献

The interaction between stabilizers and nanoparticles is one of the important factors to prepare stable magnetic fluids. The magnetic nano-size Fe3O4 core with single domain and the average grain size around 8-12 nm were prepared by chemical precipitation method. The O/Fe molar ratio of the particle surface was measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The heat effects of stabilizers ad- sorption on nanoparticles were measured by solution calorimetry. The excess amount of oxygen was possibly the result of the hydroxygen formed on the surface of the nanoparticles. The heat effects showed that compounds containing carboxyl groups can be adsorbed chemically on magnetite by forming chemical bonds. The other stabilizers involving NH-groups, such as polyethylene-imine, can be adsorbed physically. The exothermic value is about half of the former case. 相似文献

An all-atom dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) model and a TIP5P water model have been adopted for molecular dynamics simulation. Two new qualities ηrelE and ηrel are introduced to describe the anomalous nonideal behaviors of DMSO–water mixtures. The simulation is compared with chemical shift and excess enthalpy of mixing, which shows good concentration dependences. In addition, our all-atom simulation also indicates that the C–H groups of DMSO may interact with the oxygen atoms of water and DMSO.
