We demonstrate an electro-optic Solc-type wavelength filter in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN). A Solc-type transmission spectrum is observed experimentally in PPLN with four periods from 20.2 to 20.8 microm. Modulation of the transmission power of the filter is realized by application of electric fields along the Y axis of the PPLN. A chiral polymeric micelle is described, formed from the self‐assembly of TPPS and PEG114‐b‐P(4VP)38 in aqueous media based on their electrostatic interaction. The self‐assembly behavior is studied by DLS, SLS, TEM, UV‐vis absorption spectroscopy, and CD spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that the resultant hybrid spherical micelles with a hybrid P(4VP)/TPPS core and a PEG shell show chiral signatures. In addition, the chiral micelles have a large dimension and biphasic segregated structure because of the formation of H‐aggregates and J‐aggregates in the micellar core.

Novel cobalt polyselenidoarsenate [Co(phen)(3)][As(2)Se(2)(μ-Se(3))(μ-Se(5))] (1; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) was methanolothermally synthesized by the reaction of CoCl(2), As(2)O(3), and Se templated by phen in a CH(3)OH solvent at 130 °C. The same reaction in a H(2)O solvent yielded cobalt selenidoarsenate [Co(phen)(3)](2)[As(8)Se(14)] (2). In 1, the AsSe(+) units are alternately joined by the μ-Se(3)(2-) and μ-Se(5)(2-) bridging ligands to form a novel helical polyselenidoarsenate chain [As(2)Se(2)(μ-Se(3))(μ-Se(5))(2-)](∞). In 2, eight pyramidal AsSe(3) units are connected via corner sharing into the new member of the selenidoarsenate aggregate [As(8)Se(14)](4-) with a condensation grade of 0.571, which represents the first discrete selenidoarsenate(III) with a condensation grade of above 0.50. The octahedral complex [Co(phen)(3)](2+) is formed in situ to act as a countercation in compounds 1 and 2. 1 and 2 exhibit steep absorption band gaps at 2.09 and 2.16 eV, respectively. 相似文献

In this letter we describe a simple physical method for the ordered aggregation of scattered single spherical polystyrene-b-poly(acrylic acid) (PS-b-PAA) micelles. First, narrow dispersed spindlelike aggregates, about 60 nm in diameter and 1.5 microm in length, are obtained from the aggregation of single spherical PS-b-PAA micelles at 0 degrees C on a glass slide. Then, the yielding spindlelike units can further aggregate into long-ranged, close-packed, flowerlike arrays after a given amount of freeze-thaw cycles. The alignment of azobenzene molecules in DR19-PUI film induced by all-optical poling is identified. When the writing beams of frequencies ω and 2ω are both linearly polarized with their polarization directions parallel to each other, azobenzene molecules tend to reorient to perpendicular direction (i.e. direction perpendicular to the polarization of writing beams). At the end of the writing process more molecules orient in perpendicular direction than those in parallel direction (i.e. direction parallel to the polarization of writing beams). The alignment of molecules in parallel or perpendicular direction is, respectively, characteristic of noncentrosymmetry or centrosymmetry. It is the alignment of molecules in parallel direction that results in the second-order nonlinearity in the poled film. 相似文献

PS‐b‐PAA spherical micelles with a liquid core and a PAA shell are prepared with the assistance of 1,2‐dichloroethane. During the process of adding a mixture of PNIPAM‐b‐P4VP and PEG‐b‐P4VP, multi‐layered micelles with a mixed corona that consists of both PNIPAM and PEG chains are constructed through the electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding between the PAA block and the P4VP block. When heating above the LCST, the PNIPAM chains collapse onto the PAA/P4VP complex layer while the PEG chains still stretch into the solution through the collapsed PNIPAM layer, which leads to the formation of hydrophilic channels around the PEG chains. The ibuprofen encapsulated in the hollow space can diffuse through the channels and its release rate can be controlled by changing the ratio of PEG chains to PNIPAM chains in the corona.
