Entrapment of membrane proteins is a challenging task compared to that involving soluble proteins. Chlorophyllase, a membrane
protein, was successfully entrapped in tetramethoxysilane-derived sol-gel. Pre-gel sol typically consists of an aqueous suspension
of chlorophyllase, precursors including tetramethoxysilane and/or methytrimethoxysilane, and sodium fluoride as catalyst.
To obtain a highly active entrapped enzyme preparation, the effects of various immobilization parameters, including the chemical
compositions of pre-gel sol (water/silane ratio, precursor type and proportions, enzyme loading, sodium fluoride concentration),
and sol-gel process parameters (aging and drying time and approach) have been investigated. Chlorophyllase demonstrated the
highest activity in gel derived from a pre-gel sol with water/silane ratio of 30 and enzyme loading of 0.257 mgprotein/ggel, and showed moderately lower activity in organically modified sol-gel than that in hydrophilic sol-gel. The effects of water/silane
ratio and precursor combinations on the activity of entrapped chlorophyllase were also studied by examining the pore morphology
of gel via nitrogen adsorption-desorption. Longer aging time leads to an entrapped chlorophyllase preparation with higher
activity. Chlorophyllase preparation demonstrated negligible activity after air-drying for 12 h while lyophilized chlorophyllase
preparation demonstrated 8, 4 and 4 times higher activity than air-dried, vacuum-dried and solvent-dried preparations. Chlorophyllase
demonstrated 30% higher activity in the improved sol-gel protocol than that from a non-optimized sol-gel protocol developed

One-step and highly efficient syntheses of 2-aryl-1-benzazocines via Beckmann rearrangement of 5H-benzocyclohepten-5-one oxime mesylates in dry toluene was described, in which aryl Grignard reagents were used for the first time to induce Beckmann rearrangement directly without any additional protic agents. 考察了含锆的铜铬硅催化剂低温液相合成甲醇性能,并进行了BET、TPR-H2、TPD-H2、TPD-CO、XRD和XPS表征。结果表明,锆作为结构助剂及电子助剂对催化剂在低温液相合成甲醇反应中具有显著的促进作用,反应活性可提高32.25 %。锆助剂能有效提高催化剂的比表面积,促进催化剂中铜铬组分的分散及表面富集。ZrO2加入在催化剂表面产生的Cu+与催化活性的改善密切相关,Zr4+、Cr3+、Cu+可形成复合中心,为价态的稳定性提供微环境,在H2活化及C O键的断裂等反应步骤中起重要作用。 相似文献

以聚四氟乙烯为粘结剂制成了多壁纳米碳管(MWNT)电极.采用恒电位阶跃法和循环伏安法研究了MWNT电极在碱性溶液中的电化学行为,并对碱性溶液中溶解氧在该电极上的电化学还原行为进行了研究.实验结果表明: MWNT电极具有比石墨电极更高的孔隙率和电化学表面积;MWNT电极上O2还原成的反应为准可逆过程;在5~50 mV•s-1的扫描速率范围内,阴极峰电流与扫描速度成线性关系,表明MWNT电极上O2还原成的反应受吸附控制;对碱性溶液中的氧还原反应, MWNT比石墨具有更高的催化活性. 相似文献

A capillary electrophoretic assay for determining aloe-emodin (AE), methyl p-coumarate (MC), and 3,4-dihydro-6,8-dihydroxyl-[(3s)-2'-acetyl-3'-hydroxyl-5'-methoxy-benzyl]-isocoumarin (DDI) in Aloe vera has been developed. Baseline separation was achieved within 15 min using a running buffer of 20 mm borax containing 10% (v/v) acetonitrile at pH 10.5. A linear relationship between the peak area and the concentration of the analytes was found in the ranges 5-500, 10-1000 and 2-1000 micro g/mL for AE, MC and DDI, respectively, with correlation coefficients of 0.9992-0.9998. The relative standard deviations of migration time and peak area were within 0.17-0.19 and 1.52-3.37%, respectively. The recoveries of AE, MC and DDI were 105, 102 and 96.4%. The contents of AE, MC and DDI in Aloe vera were measured to be 5.13, 0.768 and 1.30 mg/g, respectively. 相似文献

The stability of poly(N-methylaniline) (PNMA) as electrode material has been studied in aqueous solutions of sulfuric acid with the use of electrochemical
and in situ Raman spectroscopic techniques. It has been shown that the electrochemical decomposition of electrodeposited PNMA
films follows a first-order reaction kinetics. The decomposition rate constants vary between 1.2 × 10−5 and 2.0 × 10−3 s−1 for electrode potential varying between 0.2 and 1.0 V vs Ag/AgCl, respectively. In situ Raman spectroscopy has been applied
in obtaining kinetic data at selected electrode potentials, and good correlation of these data with the corresponding data
obtained by cyclic voltammetry has been found. As compared to polyaniline, the decomposition of PNMA proceeds at nearly the
same rate at electrode potentials not exceeding 0.5 V. The decomposition of PNMA proceeds faster within the potential limits
of 0.5 to 0.8 V and slower at electrode potentials exceeding 0.8 V as compared to polyaniline.

Noncovalent π stacking of aromatic molecules is a universal form of noncovalent interactions normally occurring on planar structures (such as aromatic molecules and graphene) based on sp2-hybridized atoms. Here we reveal a new type of noncovalent surface–π stacking unusually occurring between aromatic groups and peroxide-modified titania (PMT) nanosheets, which can drive versatile aromatic adsorptions. We experimentally explore the underlying electronic-level origin by probing the perturbed changes of unoccupied Ti 3d states with near-edge X-ray absorption fine structures (NEXAFS), and find that aromatic groups can vertically attract π electrons in the surface peroxo-Ti states and increase their delocalization regions. Our discovery updates the concept of noncovalent π-stacking interactions by extending the substrates from carbon-based structures to a transition metal oxide, and presents an approach to exploit the surface chemistry of nanomaterials based on noncovalent interactions.A new type of noncovalent surface–π stacking interaction occurring on a transition metal oxide, titania, is reported, which is different from the traditional forms on sp2-hybridized planar structures like graphene. 相似文献
