The Ni/CNT catalyst was fabricated by directly dipping carbon nanotube precursors refluxed in 4 M of nitric acid into Ni electroless plating bath, and used to synthesize new carbon nanotubes. The experimental results indicate that the duration of acid-treatment of carbon nanotubes precursors exerts a great influence on the catalysis of Ni/CNT in the synthesis of carbon nanotubes and hence the structures of the new carbon nanotubes. When the carbon nanotubes precursors were refluxed for 0.5 h in 4 M of nitric acid, bamboo-shaped carbon nanotubes (BSCNT) or Y junction carbon nanotubes in the carbon products were obtained. As the duration of acid-treatment of carbon nanotubes precursors increased to 6 h, the as-prepared Ni/CNT displayed higher activity, and the carbon nanotube products were high pure without any Y junction structure or any separation layers in hollow.  相似文献

The high performance of titanosilicate zeolites in various industrial oxidation reactions is highly affected by the distribution of Ti atoms in their frameworks. Because of their structural complexity, previous theoretical studies mainly focus on the preferential location of single Ti atoms within the unit cells of titanosilicate zeolites. When multiple Ti atoms are required, conventional approaches consider only symmetrically related T sites to reduce the computation complexity. Such symmetry‐constrained approaches obviously overlooked many possible configurations. Herein, we conduct a systematic study on the distribution of two Ti atoms in the unit cell of titanosilicate zeolite *BEA . Different from conventional symmetry‐constrained approaches, we introduce two Ti atoms simultaneously without any constraint and adopt a symmetry‐adapted algorithm to enumerate all possible configurations for double‐Ti introduction. We generate a total of 273 distinct configurations and analyze the Ti‐distribution via Boltzmann statistics. We find that many of the configurations overlooked by conventional symmetry‐constrained approaches indeed exhibit more feasible energies, which may lead to different Ti‐distributions. Our study indicates the necessity of unconstrained introduction of Ti atoms when multiple‐Ti atoms are considered for calculations.  相似文献

A novel class of monodisperse conjugated polymer nanoparticles have been readily prepared by the facile reprecipitation of poly{1,3-bis[2-(3-alkylthienyl)]azulene} or poly{1,3-bis[2-(3-alkoxythienyl)]azulene}. The multicomponent poly(bithiophene-alt-azulene) macromolecules were efficiently self-assembled into a wide range of size-tunable nanoparticles from a few tens to five hundred nanometers via the hydrophobic and pi-stacking effects in the mixed chloroform/methanol solutions. Electronically altered polymer structures with different alkyl or alkoxy substitutes exhibited variable self-assembling behaviors to precisely tune the size and the optical/electronic properties of nanoparticles. A strong size dependence of continuous bathochromic absorption and significant enhanced emission were observed with the increase of particle size. A linear relationship between the absorption or fluorescence intensities and the particle size was demonstrated as well, and this is very useful to probe the intermolecular interactions and the size evolutions of conjugated polymer nanoparticles. After the size-dependent optical and electronic properties are created, they can be further optimized to improve the performance of materials prior to the use in novel organic nanodevices in a cost-effective way.  相似文献

Caco-2 cells offer a means to rapidly screen permeability of drug candidates, allowing pharmaceutical companies to eliminate candidates unable to cross the intestinal barrier early in the discovery process. This screening process is typically performed by conventional liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS), which can require time-consuming method development. An alternative to LC/MS/MS, automated nanoelectrospray tandem mass spectrometry (nanoESI-MS/MS), is introduced. This novel approach requires an off-line ZipTip desalting step followed by automated nanoESI-MS/MS, using the NanoMate 100 and ESI Chip. In addition to reduced method development time, automated nanoESI-MS/MS also offers no carry-over between samples, low sample consumption, and ease-of-use as compared with conventional pulled-capillary nanoelectrospray. Furthermore, the infusion system described has the potential to be high-throughput. A comparison of Caco-2 samples analyzed both by LC/MS/MS and by automated nanoESI-MS/MS is presented. The permeability and recovery data of the two compounds analyzed in this study obtained from conventional LC/MS/MS and by automated nanoESI-MS/MS were in excellent agreement.  相似文献

Calculation methods based on hybrid Density Functional Theory (DFT) with the basis sets of the B3LYP/6‐31+G(d)//B3LYP/4‐31G(d) method and the differential overlap (INDO) program were used to derive reasonable decomposition mechanisms of 1,4,5,8‐tetranitro‐1,4,5,8‐tetraazadecalin (TNAD) and 1,3,3‐trinitroazetidine (TNAZ) explosives. All possible decomposition species and transition states, including intermediates and products, were identified and their corresponding enthalpy of formation and Gibbs free energy of formation were obtained using polyparametric modification equations. INDO bond energy calculation results reveal the weakest bonding site for reference and determine where cleavage can occur easily. This work is concerned mainly with eliminating HONO (cis or trans form). The activation energy for trans‐form HONO elimination is lower than that of cis‐form HONO elimination in the initial steps of both TNAD and TNAZ decomposition, being 18.5 kJ/mol and 33.3 kJ/mol, respectively. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The effects of four factors (different side chains, side-chain disorder, conformational change, and ions and water) on the energy band structures of proteins have been investigated with the aid of the CNDO/2 crystal orbital method. Capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) and polymer-based microelectrophoretic platforms were investigated to analyze low-abundant point mutations in certain gene fragments with high diagnostic value for colorectal cancers. The electrophoretic separations were carried out on single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) products generated from an allele-specific ligation assay (ligase detection reaction, LDR), which was used to screen for a single base mutation at codon 12 in the K-ras oncogene. The presence of the mutation generated a ssDNA fragment that was >40 base pairs (bp) in length, while the primers used for the ligation assay were <30 bp in length. Various separation matrices were investigated, with the success of the matrix assessed by its ability to resolve the ligation product from the large molar excess of unligated primers when the mutant allele was lower in copy number compared to the wild-type allele. Using CGE, LDR product models (44 and 51 bp) could be analyzed in a cross-linked polyacrylamide gel with a 1000-fold molar excess of LDR primers (25 bp) in approximately 45 min. However, when using linear polyacrylamide gels, these same fragments could not be detected due to significant electrokinetic biasing during injection. A poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) microchip of 3.5 cm effective column length was used with a 4% linear polyacrylamide gel to analyze the products generated from an LDR. When the reaction contained a 100-fold molar excess of wild-type DNA compared to a G12.2D mutant allele, the 44 bp ligation product could be effectively resolved from unligated primers in under 120 s, nearly 17 times faster than the CGE format. In addition, sample cleanup was simplified using the microchip format by not requiring desalting of the LDR prior to loading.  相似文献

A series of novel hemicyanine dye-β-cyclodextrin compounds: mono-6-deoxy-β-cyclodextrin-6-[p-(p-substituted styryl)pyridium] p-totylfulfonates were synthesized by the condensation of mono-6-deoxy-β- cyclodextrin-6-(p-methyl pyridinium) p-toluenesulfonate with (un)substituted benzaldehydes. Their structures were established by 1^H NMR, IR, UV-Vis and elemental analysis. The absorption and fluorescence properties of the novel compounds were measured in solution and the photostability of a selected hemicyanine dye-β-cyclodextrin compound was also investigated.  相似文献
