Generic initial ideals of Artinian ideals having Lefschetz properties or the strong Stanley property
For a standard Artinian k-algebra A=R/I, we give equivalent conditions for A to have the weak (or strong) Lefschetz property or the strong Stanley property in terms of the minimal system of generators of gin(I). Using the equivalent condition for the weak Lefschetz property, we show that some graded Betti numbers of gin(I) are determined just by the Hilbert function of I if A has the weak Lefschetz property. Furthermore, for the case that A is a standard Artinian k-algebra of codimension 3, we show that every graded Betti number of gin(I) is determined by the graded Betti numbers of I if A has the weak Lefschetz property. And if A has the strong Lefschetz (respectively Stanley) property, then we show that the minimal system of generators of gin(I) is determined by the graded Betti numbers (respectively by the Hilbert function) of I. 相似文献

In this paper, the problem of the robust stabilization for a class of uncertain linear systems with multiple time-varying delays is investigated. The uncertainty is nonlinear time-varying and does not require a matching condition. A memoryless state-feedback controller for the robust stabilization of the system is proposed. Based on the Lyapunov method and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, two sufficient conditions for the stability are derived. A new collectively fixed point theorem for a family of set-valued mappings defined on product spaces of non-compact topological spaces without linear structure is proved and some special cases are also discussed. As applications, some non-empty intersection theorems of sets with convex sections and equilibrium existence theorem of abstract economies are obtained under much weaker assumptions. Let V be a module with . V is called a quasi-Baer module if for each ideal J of S, for some . On the other hand, V is called a Rickart module if for each , for some . For a module N, the quasi-Baer module hull (resp., the Rickart module hull ) of N, if it exists, is the smallest quasi-Baer (resp., Rickart) overmodule, in a fixed injective hull of N. In this paper, we initiate the study of quasi-Baer and Rickart module hulls. When a ring R is semiprime and ideal intrinsic over its center, it is shown that every finitely generated projective R-module has a quasi-Baer hull. Let R be a Dedekind domain with F its field of fractions and let be any set of R-submodules of . For an R-module with , we show that has a quasi-Baer module hull if and only if is semisimple. This quasi-Baer hull is explicitly described. An example such that has no Rickart module hull is constructed. If N is a module over a Dedekind domain for which is projective and , where is the torsion submodule of N, we show that the quasi-Baer hull of N exists if and only if is semisimple. We prove that the Rickart module hull also exists for such modules N. Furthermore, we provide explicit constructions of and and show that in this situation these two hulls coincide. Among applications, it is shown that if N is a finitely generated module over a Dedekind domain, then N is quasi-Baer if and only if N is Rickart if and only if N is Baer if and only if N is semisimple or torsion-free. For a direct sum of finitely generated modules, where R is a Dedekind domain, we show that N is quasi-Baer if and only if N is Rickart if and only if N is semisimple or torsion-free. Examples exhibiting differences between the notions of a Baer hull, a quasi-Baer hull, and a Rickart hull of a module are presented. Modifying complex plane rotations, we derive a new Jacobi-type algorithm for the Hermitian eigendecomposition, which uses only real arithmetic. When the fast-scaled rotations are incorporated, the new algorithm brings a substantial reduction in computational costs. The new method has the same convergence properties and parallelism as the symmetric Jacobi algorithm. Two types of conformal load-bearing antenna structures (CLAS) were designed with microwave composite laminates and Nomex honeycomb cores to secure both the structural rigidity and a good electrical performance. One was a 4 × 8 array for the synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) system and the other was a 5 × 2 array for the wireless local-area network (LAN) system. The design was based on a wide bandwidth, high polarization purity, low losses, and high structural rigidity. The design, fabrication, and structural/electrical performances of the antenna structures were studied. Their flexural behavior was examined by three-point bending, impact, and buckling tests. The electrical measurements were in a good agreement with simulation results. The complex antenna structures obtained have good flexural characteristics. The design of this antenna structure is extended to give a useful guide for sandwich panel manufacturers as well as antenna designers. 相似文献
