A 21-layer multi-wavelength metal-dielectric nonpolarizing cube beam splitter was designed by use of an optimization method and theoretically investigated in the near-infrared range. The angular dependence of the reflectance and differential phases induced by reflection and transmission were presented. The simulation results revealed that the non-polarizing effect could be achieved for both the amplitude and phase characteristics at 1310 and 1550 nm. The differences between the simulated and the target reflectance of 50% are less than 2% and differential phases are less than 5°in the range 1300–1320 nm and 1540–1550 nm for both p- and s-components.  相似文献

A novel fiber-optic sensor that can measure curvature directly has been developed previously. In this paper, the transduction of curvature to light intensity is described analytically by using the geometrical optics analysis. The mathematical model allows a quantitative optimization of the sensor without having to produce many sensors with slightly different combinations of parameters in order to accomplish a similar objective experimentally. The Monte Carlo simulation by ray tracing and an orthogonal matrix are used to optimize the fiber-optic sensor’s configuration. The results show that the depth of the sensitive zone and the number of teeth are two main parameters that affect the sensor’s sensitivity and the optimum number of teeth is 55, which is in agreement with the mathematical model.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate a passively mode-locked fiber laser employing a fiber-based semiconductor saturable absorber (SSA) operating in transmission. Polarization rotation locked vector solitons are observed in the laser. Due to the intrinsic dynamic feature of the laser, period-doubling of these vector solitons has also been observed. Furthermore, extra spectral sidebands are formed on the optical spectrum, caused by the energy exchange between the two orthogonal polarization components of the vector solitons. By careful reduction of the pump power together with fine adjustment to the cavity birefringence, period-one state can further be obtained. Additionally, the phase noise properties of the vector soliton fiber laser have also been characterized experimentally and analytically.  相似文献

By constructing a distorted wavefront with random phase screen, the correction process of distorted wavefront has been simulated, and the correction effect of deformable mirror has been simulated and analyzed with the method of high-pass filtering. The variations of correction effect and high-frequency phase distortion have been quantitatively analyzed. The results show that the beam quality of the corrected beam degrades obviously with the increase of high-frequency phase. In addition, a new method has been presented to recover the high-frequency phase of distorted wavefront according to the given intensity distribution and low-frequency phase in near field and the intensity distribution in far field. It shows that the method is very effective to recover the high-frequency phase of distorted wavefront.  相似文献

The optical property of a structure composed of a touching gold nanocylinder array on a thin gold film is investigated using finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. It is discovered that the transmission behavior can be tuned by tuning the geometry of the structure. As the film thickness increases, the transmission mode associated with the localized surface plasmon resonance blue shifts accompanied with a decrease of magnitude and full width at half maximum, and a second transmission appear due to the interaction of the plasmons on the cylinder with their images induced on the film. The localized waveguide resonance diminishes but the second resonance peak is intensified and broadened noticeably with the separation of the cylinder array and film increase. The cylinder radius size influences the localized surface plasmon resonance mode obviously. These results may be helpful for the design of a novel optical device.  相似文献

The recent discovery of topological insulators has revived interest in the band topology of insulators. In this Letter, we extend the topological classification of band structures to include certain crystal point group symmetry. We find a class of three-dimensional "topological crystalline insulators" which have metallic surface states with quadratic band degeneracy on high symmetry crystal surfaces. These topological crystalline insulators are the counterpart of topological insulators in materials without spin-orbit coupling. Their band structures are characterized by new topological invariants. We hope this work will enlarge the family of topological phases in band insulators and stimulate the search for them in real materials.  相似文献

We demonstrate collective atomic recoil motion with a dilute, ultracold, degenerate fermion gas in a single spin state. By utilizing an adiabatically decompressed magnetic trap with an aspect ratio different from that of the initial trap, a momentum-squeezed fermion cloud is achieved. With a single pump pulse of the proper polarization, we observe, for the first time, multiple wave-mixing processes that result in distinct collective atomic recoil motion modes in a degenerate fermion cloud. Contrary to the case with Bose condensates, no pump-laser detuning asymmetry is present.  相似文献

Mobile wireless optical communication system was demonstrated experimentally by using a special solid coupling optical taper. The performance of special solid coupling optical taper and the data transmission performance with 240 Mbit/s were investigated on the rectilinear orbit between the mobile terminal and the fixed terminal. The experimental results shown that the scheme used in the mobile wireless optical communication system is reliable and quite simple, which could be widely used in future.  相似文献

 为研究强激光电离氢原子团簇,在理论上采用1维氢原子团簇的经典粒子动力学模型,结合粒子对(PP)算法及粒子模拟(PIC)方法,采用自行搭建的9节点并行集群系统,利用消息传递接口(MPI)与OpenMP混合编程模型进行了并行数值模拟计算,获得了较为理想的计算加速比。并且引入了弛豫时间参数,有效地处理了粒子间的碰撞过程,在极大简化计算量的同时,保留了物理本质。所得模拟结果与已有的实验结果符合较好,表明该并行计算模型是稳定、可行的。  相似文献

 以间苯二酚(R)-甲醛(F)为原料,制备了有机气凝胶和碳气凝胶,并对其进行二氧化碳活化。X射线衍射(XRD)测试表明,二氧化碳渗入到碳气凝胶网络结构发生反应,造成(002)峰和(100)峰减弱;扫描电子显微镜(SEM)测试表明,活化没有破坏碳气凝胶的骨架结构,而是增加了大量的nm尺度微孔,从而大大提高了碳气凝胶的比表面积和微孔比例。在1 mol/L KOH电解液中进行了循环伏安和计时电位扫描测试,电极材料电化学性能稳定,具有较好的可逆性,在1 mA/s电流密度下进行充放电测试,得到活化前电极比电容为103 F/g,活化后由于比表面积的增加,比电容达到371 F/g,是一种理想的电化学电极材料。  相似文献
