Standard solutions (at 10(-5) M levels) of Cu(I)- and Fe(II)-cyanide complexes were stabilized for at least 5 h using 0.5 mM cyanide solution (around pH 9) as a medium. Complexes of Cu(I)- and Fe(III)-cyanide also could be stabilized without any dissociation by adding 1 mM cyanide to an acetonitrile-water (18:82, v/v) mobile phase (pH 7.0) containing 10 mM tetra-n-propylammonium salt (TPA). Under the optimal conditions, the six complexes of Cu(I)-, Ag(I)-, Ni(II)-, Fe(II)-, Fe(III)- and Au(I)-cyanides were resolved from their mixtures within about 45 min, with well-shaped chromatographic peaks. 相似文献

Extinction coefficients of the characteristic infrared bands due to isomeric structural units were measured for polybutadiene and polyisoprene in CS2 or CCl4 solutions and were compared with the isomer composition determined by NMR. The NMR signal assignments were made on the basis of the spectra of deutero derivatives of the polymers. In the case of polyisoprene, linear relations were obtained between the extinction coefficients and the isomer contents determined by NMR for the absorption bands at 1385 cm?1 (characteristic of trans-1,4 units), 1376 cm?1 (cis-1,4 units), and 889 cm?1 (3,4 units). However, for the absorption bands at 840 cm?1 (characteristic of cis-1,4 and trans-1,4 units), isomerized polyisoprenes did not give such a linear relationship. In polybutadiene, the extinction coefficient for the atactic 1,2 units was found to be lower than that of the syndiotactic 1,2 unit. These experimental facts lead to the conclusion that additivity of the extinction coefficients does not always hold for diene polymers. Heat of adsorption and isotherm of water vapor on NiO samples were measured simultaneously at 301 K to examine the energetic properties of the surface. They revealed that NiO has a relatively uniform surface. The heat of adsorption ranging 80–90 kJ·mol–1 indicates the production of surface hydroxyl groups on the (100) plane of NiO. It is relatively small compared with that of other metal oxides, which suggests a weak nature of the Ni2+ ion sites for chemisorption of water. It is suspected that half of the surface Ni2+ ions are covered with hydroxyl groups and the remainings act as relatively strong physisorption sites for water molecules.The authors are grateful for the help of Prof. S. The deformation of liquid-crystalline spherulites of poly(γ-benzyl-L -glutamate) (PBLG) in an electric field was investigated by light scattering, polarized-light microscopy, and birefringence measurements. Under the polarizing microscope, the deformation was found to be dependent upon the field strength. The spherulites deformed perpendicular to the field. Above 75 V/cm in N,N-dimethylformamide or 120 V/cm in 1,1,2-trichloroethane, the deformed spherulites were transformed to rodlike textures. With increasing voltage, the rods gradually oriented parallel to the electric field. On the basis of the experimental results, models for affine deformation are proposed. With these models, light-scattering patterns are calculated. The calculated and experimental patterns agree semiquantitatively. 相似文献
