New mixed metal clusters with M19 metal frameworks have been synthesized by NaBH4 reduction of Au(NO3)(PMe2Ph) together with AgNO3 in ethanol. Single crystal X-ray diffraction has revealed Au12Ag7 and Au17Ag2 metal skeletons for these clusters, which are best described in terms of bicapped pentagonal antiprismatic cages with a staggered-staggered M(5) ring configuration. These clusters connect the missing link between M13 icosahedral and M25 biicosahedral clusters providing a view of the cluster growth process. A TEM image of this cluster has been observed, which has clearly demonstrated single-sized nano-particles of less than 1.0 nm. 相似文献

Heat capacity of halogen-bridged one-dimensional binuclear metal complex (so-called MMX chain) having four n-pentyl groups, Pt2(n-PenCS2)4I, was measured by adiabatic calorimetry. A first-order phase transition was observed at 207.4 K when measurement was made after cooling from room temperature. The enthalpy and entropy of transition were determined to be 10.19 kJ mol(-1) and 49.1 J K(-1) mol(-1), respectively. A monotropic phase transition was observed at 324 K on heating, and the entropy of transition was essentially null. The sample once heated above 324 K never returned to the initial phase at room temperature and underwent a higher-order phase transition at 173 K and a first-order phase transition at 220.5 K. The enthalpy and entropy of the first-order phase transition were estimated to be 11.6 kJ mol(-1) and 52.4 J K(-1) mol(-1), respectively. The magnitude of the entropy gain at the phase transition from the initial room-temperature phase to the high-temperature phase at 324 K shows that in Pt2(n-PenCS2)4I a large amount of entropy reserved in alkyl chain is transferred to dithiocarboxylato groups upon the phase transition, as in the cases of Pt2(n-PrCS2)4I and Pt2(n-BuCS2)4I. 相似文献

Benzene, chlorobenzene, 1,2-, 1,3-, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, biphenyl, and polychlorinated biphenyls such as 2-, 4-chlorobiphenyl and 2,2′-dichlorobiphenyl in aqueous solutions have been subjected to sonolysis with 200 kHz ultrasound at an intensity of 6 W cm−2 under an argon atmosphere. 80–90% of initial amount of these compounds were degraded by 30–60 min of sonication when the initial concentrations were 10–100 μmol l−1. The degradation rate of these compounds increased with increase in their vapor pressures. In all cases of sonolysis of chlorinated organic compounds, an appreciable amount of liberated chloride ion was observed. 相似文献

We investigate the quantum mechanical process of two-electron tunneling in strong external electric fields. Numerical solution of a two-electron s-wave model reveals the existence of collective tunneling ionization in a mode where both electrons stay at equal distance from the nucleus. Otherwise the lagging electron is immediately recaptured. The corresponding double ionization rate fails to explain nonsequential multiple ionization in strong-field laser experiments. However, an empirically modified version of the analytical one-electron tunneling rate of Ammosov, Delone, and Krainov agrees with the experiments to a surprising accuracy.
