In the high-dimensional setting, this article considers a canonical testing problem in multivariate analysis, namely testing coefficients in linear regression models. Several tests for highdimensional regression coefficients have been proposed in the recent literature. However, these tests are based on the sum of squares type statistics, that perform well under the dense alternatives and suffer from low power under the sparse alternatives. In order to attack this issue, we introduce a new test statistic which is based on the maximum type statistic and magnifies the sparse signals. The limiting null distribution of the test statistic is shown to be the extreme value distribution of type I and the power of the test is analysed. In particular, it is shown theoretically and numerically that the test is powerful against sparse alternatives. Numerical studies are carried out to examine the numerical performance of the test and to compare it with other tests available in the literature. 相似文献

A green-emitting phosphor of hexagonal BaZnSiO4:Eu2+ was prepared by a combustion-assisted synthesis method and an efficient green emission from ultraviolet to visible light was observed. The luminescence and crystallinity were investigated by using luminescence spectrometry and X-ray diffractometry. In the hexagonal structure of BaZnSiO4:Eu2+ phosphor, Eu2+ ions occupy three different lattice sites by substitution for Ba2+ ions. Eu2+ ions on Ba (1) and Ba (2) sites gave emissions at about 505 nm while Eu2+ ions on Ba (3) sites showed an emission band at 403 nm. The excitation spectrum is a broad band extending from 260 to 465 nm, which matches the emission of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes. The critical quenching concentration of Eu2+ in BaZnSiO4:Eu2+ phosphor is about 0.05 mol. The value of the critical transfer distance is calculated as 10.97 Å. The corresponding concentration quenching mechanism is verified to be the electric multipole–multipole interaction. The CIE coordinates of the optimized sample $\mathrm{Ba}_{0.95}\mathrm{ZnSiO}_{4}{:}\mathrm{Eu}_{0.05}^{2+}$ were calculated as (x,y)=(0.172,0.463). 相似文献

The YBCO films with BaSnO3 (BSO) particles were prepared on LAO (0 0 1) substrates by metal organic deposition using trifluoroacetates (TFA-MOD) via introducing SnCl4 powders into the YBCO precursor solution. It was found that with the increase of the SnCl4 contents, the slower decomposition and higher temperature for nucleation during the reaction were requested compared to that of pure YBCO film. The YBCO films with different contents of Sn with dense surface and well c-alignment were obtained under optimized heat treatment, and the BaSnO3 phases were detected by XRD analysis. Litter effect of BSO particles on the Tc and Jc values of YBCO films was found. All YBCO films with BSO particles had Tc values over 90 K and Jc values over 1 MA/cm2. A significant enhancement of Jc was observed for YBCO films with BSO particles compared to that of pure YBCO film by the field dependence of Jc values. The best property was obtained for YBCO film with 6 mol.% Sn at 77 K under magnetic field. The results showed that the Jc value of YBCO film with 6 mol.% Sn was enhanced by a factor of 2 in 2 T, and over a factor of 10 beyond 4 T compared to that of pure YBCO film. 相似文献
