高频单线圈双调谐NMR单晶探头的研制

本文报道了一种测角单晶NMR探头。该探头采用单线圃双调谐电路,工作频率在90MHz-110 MHz连续可调,可进行交叉极化大功率去耦实验。文中提出了一种简单而有效的测角装置,可使单晶绕三个互相垂直轴转动实现单晶的NMR测量。作为典型的应用例子,本文利用该探头实现了单晶DGO(2NH₂CH₂COOH·H₂C₂O₄)屏蔽张量的测量。     

苯并噻唑重氮氨基偶氮苯与汞（Ⅱ）的显色反应及其应用

报道了新试剂苯并噻唑重氮氨基偶氮苯的合成及其与汞（Ⅱ）的显色反应，在ＴｒｉｔｏｎＸ－１００存在下弱碱性介质中，试剂与汞形成２：１的橙红色络合物，最大吸收波长位于５２０ｎｍ处，表观摩尔吸光系数为１．５１×１０＾５Ｌ．ｍｏｌ＾－１．ｃｍ＾－１。汞量在０～１．２ｍｇ／Ｌ范围内遵守比尔定律，直接应用于废水中微量汞的测定，结果满意。     

Trefftz,collocation, and other boundary methods—A comparison

In this article we survey the Trefftz method (TM), the collocation method (CM), and the collocation Trefftz method (CTM). We also review the coupling techniques for the interzonal conditions, which include the indirect Trefftz method, the original Trefftz method, the penalty plus hybrid Trefftz method, and the direct Trefftz method. Other boundary methods are also briefly described. Key issues in these algorithms, including the error analysis, are addressed. New numerical results are reported. Comparisons among TMs and other numerical methods are made. It is concluded that the CTM is the simplest algorithm and provides the most accurate solution with the best numerical stability. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A nodal coupling of finite and boundary elements

This article presents and analyzes a simple method for the exterior Laplace equation through the coupling of finite and boundary element methods. The main novelty is the use of a smooth parametric artificial boundary where boundary elements fit without effort together with a straight approximate triangulation in the bounded area, with the coupling done only in nodes. A numerically integrated version of the algorithm is also analyzed. Finally, an isoparametric variant with higher order is proposed. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Whodunit? Exploring Proportional Reasoning Through the Footprint Problem

This paper describes a proportional reasoning problem set within a real‐life context and a complete analysis of one small group discussion of this problem over the course of a 90‐minute block. The seventh‐grade students' discourse is described to provide insights into typical mathematical interpretations of this problem, as well as some generalizations for other problems of this type. The interpretations provided reveal the gradual development of proportional reasoning in a local context from additive to multiplicative understandings.     

Four-wave mixing based 10-Gb/s tunable wavelength conversion in dispersion-flattened microstructure fibers

All-optical wavelength conversion of 10-Gb/s signal based on four-wave mixing is experimentally demonstrated in a 30-m-long dispersion-flattened microstructure fiber with small positive dispersion. For an average pump power of 26 dBm, the conversion efficiency was around -19.5 dB with the fluctuation less than ±1.4 dB, covering a conversion bandwidth of 20 nm. The eye diagram of the converted signal shows good eye opening.     

New families of exact solitary patterns solutions for the nonlinearly dispersive R(m,n) equations

The R(m,n) equations u_tt+a(uⁿ)_xx+b(u^m)_xxtt=0 (a, b const) are investigated by using some ansatze. As a result, new exact solitary patterns solutions and solitary wave solutions are obtained. These obtained solutions show that not only the nonlinearly dispersive R(m,m) equations (m≠1) but also the linearly dispersive R(1,n) equations (m=1) possess solitary patterns solutions, which has infinite slopes or cusps and solitary wave solutions.     

Novel aromatic polyamides bearing pendent diphenylamino or carbazolyl groups

Two new diamines, 2,4‐diaminotriphenylamine ( 3 ) and N‐(2,4‐diaminophenyl)carbazole ( 4 ), were synthesized via the cesium fluoride‐mediated aromatic substitution reactions of 1‐fluoro‐2,4‐dinitrobenzene with diphenylamine and carbazole, followed by palladium‐catalyzed hydrazine reduction. Amorphous and soluble aramids having pendent diphenylamino and carbazolyl groups were prepared by the phosphorylation polycondensation of aromatic dicarboxylic acids with diamines 3 and 4 , respectively. The aramids derived from diamine 3 had sufficiently high molecular weights to permit the casting of flexible and tough films. They exhibited excellent mechanical properties and moderately high softening temperatures in the 221–298 °C range. However, the reactions of diamine 4 with aromatic diacids gave relatively lower molecular weights products that could not afford flexible films. For a comparative purpose, the parent aramids derived from m‐phenylenediamine and aromatic diacids were also prepared and characterized. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
