Three C-14 oxygenated taxanes, 2α,5α,10β,14β-tetraacetoxytaxa-4(20),11-diene (1), 2α,5α,10β-triacetoxy-14β-(2-methylbutyryloxy)taxa-4(20),11-diene (2), and yunanaxane (3), major products of callus cultures of Taxus spp., were regio- and stereoselectively hydroxylated at the 7β position by a fungus, Absidia coerulea IFO 4011. In the present paper, solid-liquid extraction behaviour of RE(III) (RE La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy and Yb) by the use of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN, HL) as an extractant in paraffin (m.p. 48 approximately 50 degrees) has been investigated at 80 +/- 0.07 degrees. The effect of equilibrium time, pH of aqueous phase, concentration of extractant in paraffin and solid diluent as well as buffer solution used on the extraction efficiency of RE(III) have been discussed. Colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals have attracted considerable attention as a novel biological luminescent label. The bioinorganic conjugates of luminescent CdTe nanocrystals and protein, including CdTe/BSA (bovine serum albumin) and CdTe/MAB (mouse monoclonal antibody against hepatities B surface antigen), were formed via electrostatic/coordination self-assembly. Pure CdTe nanocrystals, CdTe/BSA and CdTe/MAB were used in the immunochromatographic assay experiments, respectively. And the results indicated that CdTe nanocrystals could be used and developed as a novel label with good stability, high sensitivity and facile determination of several analytes in immunochromatographic assay strips. 相似文献

Three new disubstituted benzo-15-crown-5 derivatives (3-5) have been synthesized from 4',5'-bis(bromomethyl)benzo-15-crown-5 (2) and the corresponding alkanols in the presence of Na(2)S(2), and their complexation thermodynamics with light lanthanoid(III) nitrates (La-Gd) have been studied in anhydrous acetonitrile at 25 degrees C. Plots of K(S) against the reciprocal ionic diameter of lanthanoid exhibited monotonically declining pattern for the parent benzo-15-crown-5 (1) and 3 but showed a characteristic peak at Ce(3+) for 4 and 5. It is interesting to note that the simple extension of the alkyl side chains in 4 and 5 can alter the cation selectivity profiles of 1 and 3. Possessing two 2-oxapropyl groups, 3 gave a comparable K(S) for La(3+) but a significantly decreased K(S) for Ce(3+) compared with the corresponding values for 1, thus exhibiting an exceptionally high La(3+)/Ce(3+) selectivity of 11. Thermodynamically, the complexation of lanthanoid perchlorates with 1 is absolutely entropy-driven in acetonitrile, while the complexation of lanthanoid nitrates with 3-5 is primarily driven by exothermic enthalpy changes with accompanying moderate entropic gain or small entropic loss. 相似文献

Co-aggregation of multiple pathogenic proteins is common in neurodegenerative diseases but deconvolution of such biochemical process is challenging. Herein, we developed a dual-color fluorogenic thermal shift assay to simultaneously report on the aggregation of two different proteins and quantitatively study their thermodynamic stability during co-aggregation. Expansion of spectral coverage was first achieved by developing multi-color fluorogenic protein aggregation sensors. Orthogonal detection was enabled by conjugating sensors of minimal fluorescence crosstalk to two different proteins via sortase-tag technology. Using this assay, we quantified shifts in melting temperatures in a heterozygous model protein system, revealing that the thermodynamic stability of wild-type proteins was significantly compromised by the mutant ones but not vice versa. We also examined how small molecule ligands selectively and differentially interfere with such interplay. Finally, we demonstrated these sensors are suited to visualize how different proteins exert influence on each other upon their co-aggregation in live cells.A little leak will sink a great ship! Behaviors and mechanisms of copper adsorption on hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile fibers 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
Polyacrylonitrile fiber (PANF) was hydrolyzed in a solution of sodium hydroxide and the hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile fiber (HPANF) was used as an adsorbent to remove copper ions from aqueous solution. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the hydrolysis process made the surface of HPANF rougher than that of PANF. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy revealed that the HPANF contained conjugated imine (-Cz=Nz-) sequences. Batch adsorption results indicated that the HPANF was very effective in adsorbing copper, and the adsorption equilibrium could be reached within 10-20 min. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) showed that some aggregates formed on the surface of the HPANF after copper ion adsorption and the average surface roughness (R(a)) value of the HPANF changed from 0.363 to 3.763 nm due to copper adsorption. FTIR analysis indicated that copper adsorption caused a decrease of the light adsorption intensity of the imine (-Cz=Nz-) groups at 1573 and 1406 cm(-1) wavenumbers, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) showed that the binding energy (BE) of some of the nitrogen atoms in the HPANF increased to a greater value due to copper adsorption. The FTIR and XPS results suggest that the adsorption of copper ions to the HPANF is attributed to the imine groups on the surface of the HPANF. 相似文献
