Studies on photoinduced effects in pulse-electrodeposited Ag/Hg-1212/CdSe hetero-nanostructures

Metal/superconductor/semiconductor (Ag/Hg-1212/CdSe) hetero-nanostructures have been fabricated using pulse-electrodeposition technique and are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies. The junction capacitance of Ag/Hg-1212, Hg-1212/CdSe and Ag/Hg-1212/CdSe heterojunctions is measured in dark and under laser irradiation at room temperature. The nature of the junction formed and built-in-junction potentials were determined. The increase in carrier concentration across the junction due to photo-irradiation has been observed.     

Barrier-free intermolecular proton transfer in the uracil-glycine complex induced by excess electron attachment

The photoelectron spectra (PES) of anions of uracil-glycine and uracil-phenylalanine complexes reveal broad features with maxima at 1.8 and 2.0 eV. The results of ab initio density functional B3LYP and second order M?ller-Plesset theory calculations indicate that the excess electron occupies a π^* orbital localized on uracil. The excess electron attachment to the complex can induce a barrier-free proton transfer (BFPT) from the carboxylic group of glycine to the O8 atom of uracil. As a result, the four most stable structures of the anion of uracil-glycine complex can be characterized as the neutral radical of hydrogenated uracil solvated by the anion of deprotonated glycine. The similarity between the PES spectra for the uracil complexes with glycine and phenylalanine suggests that the BFPT is also operative in the case of the latter anionic species. The BFPT to the O8 atom of uracil may be related to the damage of nucleic acid bases by low energy electrons because the O8 atom is involved in a hydrogen bond with adenine in the standard Watson-Crick pairing scheme. Formation of hydrogenated amorphous carbon films from polymer pyrolysis

Free-standing and supported hydrogenated amorphous carbon films (a:C–H) were prepared upon pyrolysis of the polymer formed by ethanolamine (EA) and citric acid (CA), under an ambient atmosphere at 300 °C. EA facilitates the formation of the macroscopic films, while CA is essential for obtaining the a:C–H microstructure, which comprises a mixture of sp² and sp³ carbon. Effect of laser irradiation of C-V characteristics of electrodeposited Ag/Tl-2223/CdSe hetero-nanostructures

One of the innovative technological directions for the high-temperature superconductors has been persued by fabricating the heteroepitaxial multilayer structures such as superconductor-semiconductor heterostructures. In the present investigation, metal/superconductor/semiconductor (Ag/Tl-2223/CdSe) hetero-nanostructures have successfully been fabricated using dc electrodeposition technique and were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies. The measurement of junction capacitance as a function of biasing voltage was used for the estimation of junction built-in-potential (V _D) and to study the charge distribution in a heterojunction. The Mott-Schottky plots were measured for each junction in dark and under the photo-irradiation. The effect of laser irradiation on C-V characteristics of hetero-nanostructure has been studied.

掺锌LiNbO3晶体的生长及其光学性能

在LiNbO₃中掺进3mol%、5mol%、7mol%ZnO生长Zn:LiNbO₃晶体.测试Zn:LiNbO₃晶体的吸收光谱,研究Zn:LiNbO₃晶体吸收边紫移的机制.测试Zn:LiNbO₃晶体的红外光谱,研究Zn(7mol%):LiNbO₃晶体OH 吸收峰由3484cm^-1移到3530cm^-1的机制.测试Zn:LiNbO₃晶体倍频转换效率和相位匹配温度,研究Zn:LiNbO₃晶体倍频转换效率增强的机制.     

基于单光纤对模型的光纤束调制函数的建模与仿真

基于单光纤对光强调制特性的函数表达式,建立了双束型光纤束的调制函数,并引入一个虚拟轴间距参量,建立了随机型光纤束的光强调制函数.同时又在视内圈光纤束为单根粗光纤的情况下,建立了同轴I型和同轴型光纤束的光调制函数.在随机型和同轴型光纤束模型的基础上建立了双圈型(DC)和同轴随机型(C-R)光纤束的光调制系数.最后对上述光纤束的调制特性函数进行了计算机仿真实验.     

两种方法制备ITO薄膜的红外特性分析

比较了用电束加热蒸发法和直流磁控溅射法制备的氧化锡铟(ITO)薄膜在红外波段的光学特性实验发现,通过直流磁控溅射在常温下制备的ITO薄膜在红外波段折射率稳定、消光系数小,比电子束加热蒸发制备的膜有较高的透过率在波长1550nm附近的透过率可达86%以上,消光系数约为004,方电阻最低为100Ω/□.     

激光除锈过程的实时监测技术研究

对激光除锈过程中的实时监测技术进行了实验研究,结果表明:除锈过程中产生的声波强度会随着表面清洁度的变化而发生明显的变化,声波信号包含了除锈过程中的大量信息,可作为激光除锈实时监测的基本信号.     

SBN:Cr晶体的光折变四波混频相位共轭特性实验研究

从实验上研究了同成分SBN:Cr晶体在He-Ne激光照射下的四波混频相位共轭特性.首先测量了在不同泵浦光与信号光光强比m及不同光束夹角2θ的情况下,晶体的四波混频相位共轭反射率R随泵浦光强比p的变化关系.其次测量了泵浦光束与信号光束耦合方向对SBN:Cr晶体的四波混频相位共轭特性的影响,并就两种不同掺杂浓度的晶体样品进行了对比,所得实验结果与理论分析基本一致.最后,利用SBN:Cr晶体四波混频相位共轭特性进行了图象畸变消除实验.
