光模块消光比的补偿方法

提出了一种新型光模块消光比补偿方法。该方法首先根据不同温度下驱动芯片上报电流的大小,结合光功率和消光比的计算公式,模拟出激光器光功率随电流及电压的变化曲线。然后根据要求调整激光器调制电流的大小,以保持消光比的稳定。该补偿方式有效地解决了光器件一致性较差的问题,可以将原来斜效率的指标适当放宽10%,从而提高了利用率和成品率,降低了模块生产成本。     

Warm-intermediate inflationary universe model in braneworld cosmologies

Warm-intermediate inflationary universe models in the context of braneworld cosmologies are studied. This study is done in the weak and strong dissipative regimes. We find that the scalar potentials and dissipation coefficients in terms of the scalar field evolve as type-power-law and powers of logarithms, respectively. General conditions required for these models to be realizable are derived and discussed. We also study the scalar and tensor perturbations for each regime. We use recent astronomical observations to constrain the parameters appearing in the braneworld models.     

A methodology based on profitability criteria for defining the partial defection of customers in non-contractual settings

The defection or churn of customers represents an important concern for any company and a central matter of interest in customer base analysis. An additional complication arises in non-contractual settings, where the characteristics that should be observed to saying that a customer has totally or partially defected are not clearly defined. As a matter of fact, different definitions of the churn situation could be used in this context. Focusing on non-contractual settings, in this paper we propose a methodology for evaluating the short-time economic effects that using a certain definition of churn would have on a company. With this aim, we have defined two efficiency measures for the economic results of a marketing campaign implemented against churn, and these measures have been computed using a set of definitions of partial defection. Our methodology finds that definition maximizing both efficiency measures and moreover, the monetary amount that the company should invest per customer in the campaign for achieving the optimal solution. This has been modelled as a multiobjective optimization problem that we solved using compromise programming. Numerical results using real data from a Spanish retailing company are presented and discussed in order to show the performance and validity of our proposal.     

Efficient statistical inference for partially nonlinear errors-in-variables models

In this paper, we consider the partially nonlinear errors-in-variables models when the non- parametric component is measured with additive error. The profile nonlinear least squares estimator of unknown parameter and the estimator of nonparametric component are constructed, and their asymptotic properties are derived under general assumptions. Finite sample performances of the proposed statistical inference procedures are illustrated by Monte Carlo simulation studies.     

Decay estimates for nonlinear nonlocal diffusion problems in the whole space

The relation and transformation between hierarchical inner product encryption and spatial encryption

Hierarchical inner product encryption (HIPE) and spatial encryption (SE) are two important classes of functional encryption that have numerous applications. Although HIPE and SE both involve some notion of linear algebra, the former works in vectors while the latter is based on (affine) spaces. Moreover, they currently possess different properties in terms of security, anonymity (payload/attribute-hiding) and ciphertext sizes, for example. In this paper, we formally study the relation between HIPE and SE. In our work, we discover some interesting and novel property-preserving transformation techniques that enable generic construction of an SE scheme from an HIPE scheme, and vice versa.

The algebraic category is the image of MV, the category whose objects are the MV‐algebras, by the equivalence (cf. 7 , 8 ). In this paper we define the logic ?^? whose Lindenbaum algebra is an MV‐algebra (object of ), and establish a link between ?^? and the infinite valued ?ukasiewicz logic ?. We define U‐operators, that have properties of universal quantifiers, and establish a bijection that maps an MV‐algebra endowed with a U‐operator (cf. 20 - 22 ) into an MV^?‐algebra endowed with a U‐operator. This map extends to a functor that is a categorical equivalence.     

Stereoselective enzymatic synthesis of monoglucosyl-myo-inositols with in vivo anti-inflammatory activity

The monoglucosyl-inositols α-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-4d-myo-inositol 3 and α-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→1)-1d-myo-inositol 4 were synthesized by a combined enzymatic transglucosylation and hydrolysis strategy, using cyclodextrin glucosyl transferase (CGTase) from Thermoanaerobacter sp., followed by hydrolysis with Aspergillus niger glucoamylase. The glucosides were separated by preparative HPLC and fully characterized by extensive 1D and 2D NMR studies. The structure of the regioisomer 4 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography of its perbenzoylated derivative 4a. Both isomers demonstrated in vivo anti-inflammatory activity at comparative levels to corticosterone on mouse ear oedema induced by 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) and in rat hind paw oedema induced by carrageenan.
